Comedians have thick skin, they have to in their line of work. Dealing with hecklers and drunks most of the time is easy. They clown them for a while and usually things quiet down. But when the whole damn crowd turns on you there isn't much you can do.
Eddie Murphy's older brother Charlie got treated very rudely at Grambling State University recently. His jokes were bombing and finally the crowd started booing.
Watching this all I could think of was that Chappelle's Show skit when Rick James punches Charlie Murphy in the nose then sings "Cold Blooooooodeeeeeed."
Charlie showed the crowd the check he got for appearing and told them they could have it back. Yelling "fuck you" as he walked offstage to a chorus of boos.
Well damn!

Aside from Lil Wayne's inner circle of family and friends there are few who know him better than Bun B.
The Texas rhyme spitter and 1/2 of one of the best hip hop duos of all time in UGK (r.i.p. Pimp C), wants more than anything for Weezy to stay out of trouble.
In a 2008 interview with Blender Magazine, Wayne credits Bun with teaching him how to be an mc when he listed his top 5 favorite rappers.
"I was never into 'Pac," Wayne told Blender. "I always listen to Bun, though. That man taught me how to rap."
Bun spoke with Vibe about Weezy's homecoming.
"With Wayne, of course we're all happy he's home. I'm just hoping that whatever demons were on him and following him when he went inside, I hope that he left those demons inside that hell hole," Bun said.
That's real talk, I'm tired of seeing rappers get locked up period. Whether I'm a fan of their music or not, this madness needs to stop.

Drake has done a lot of collaborations in his short time in the industry. One we've yet to hear is a joint with Joe Budden. But that's not because Joe hasn't tried to make it happen.
In a recent interview with Vibe, the Slaughterhouse rapper talks about the collab that would have happened if the timing was right, and a bigger name hadn't come calling for Drake's talent.
"The funny thing is that I heard So Far Gone way before it became popular," Joe said. "I actually reached out to him and introduced myself when it dropped. At the time he had just come off a tour, but he definitely wasn’t a star yet. He was going to fly out to New York and get in the studio with me. He didn’t end up making it though, and when he did actually make it to New York, he had to do a Jay-Z session. I know how the game goes, and that obviously takes precedence over a Joe Budden session. But it’s all good.”
Might there still be a chance for a Budden/Drake record?
"Once he cools down, maybe I’ll get at him. I still think he’s extremely talented as a rapper."
We finally got a Budden/Lloyd Banks joint on Budden's 'Mood Muzik 4'. Let's hope a song with Drake isn't too far off in the distant future.

Video After The JumpNEW YORK -- Lil Wayne was released from the Rikers Island prison facility after serving eight months of a year-long sentence for attempted gun possession. Though a guard told MTV News early Thursday morning that he had to wait another day due to "miscalculated" time, at 8:35 a.m. a spokesperson at Rikers confirmed that Wayne had been discharged.
In March, Lil Wayne turned himself in to New York authorities after he struck a plea deal in his case stemming from a 2007 gun arrest near the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan.
The rapper and his entourage were leaving his first headline performance in the Big Apple when police pulled over his tour bus. The New York Police Department alleged that the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle and later searched the bus. Authorities discovered drugs and a gun, registered in Wayne's manager's name, near the rapper.
In New York, gun laws prohibit people without proper registration from being within operating capacity of a firearm. As a result, the rapper was charged with gun possession and eventually pleaded guilty to attempted gun possession.
Young Money President Mack Maine stopped by the MTV News offices Wednesday and revealed that Weezy would celebrate his homecoming with a party Sunday at a Miami strip club. According to Maine, Wayne's musical family plans to "just treat him like a king, like the royalty that he is and make him feel like we really missed him and welcome him back to the family, basically." The party follows Drake's Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour stop Saturday in Las Vegas, a show at which both Maine and Drizzy have hinted Wayne may make a surprise appearance.
"I would just advise you to book a ticket out there. If you can get tickets to that show on the 6th, I would strongly advise it," Drake told MTV News about the possibility of reuniting with his mentor onstage.

I saw this story circulating about former B2k member Raz B claiming he was sexually molested while in the group by his ex-manager and cousin Chris Stokes, and fellow singer Marques Houston.
I really havn't paid much attention, because from what I understood Raz made these same allegations before, but retracted them.
But this has taken an even more bizarre turn.
In Raz's latest interview was with radio personalty Charlamane Da God. Da God's co-host Jason Lee asked Raz if Bow Wow was involved in any of this given he was friends with the group members at the time.
"There were rumors allegedly that [former B2K member] Fizz was with Bow Wow," Lee said.
"Bow Wow used to always come to the house in Diamond Bar," Raz-B confirmed "I've always seen some weird sh*t before."
Bow Wow heard about this and was heated to say the least. He took to his twitter account to go off.
"That last tweet is for the radio nigga who brought my name up tryna start sumn in an interview. @cthagod you my nigga but ya man is a bitch," Bow Wow tweeted
The whole situation sounds crazy. Looks like they are trying to drag more people's names into it to make it more sensational than it already was.

Another week and yet another rapper is headed to prison.
Willie D of The Geto Boys plead guilty yesterday November 2, to wire fraud and received a sentence of one year and a day in prison.
The Houston MC was originally arrested in May 2009.
The case stems from a scam in which Willie used eBay to defraud customers out of money with a bogus phone company named Texas One Wireless. Customers would wire the company money for iPhones. In return they would get a fake tracking number and never receive the phones.
Willie, born William James Dennis was a part of the Geto Boys along with Bushwick Bill and Scarface, when the group shot to fame, propelled by the hit single "Mind Playing Tricks On Me."
He will have to pay $197,087.17 in restitution to the 35 people he conned. Willie faced a maximum of 20 years and a $250,000 fine, but got a lesser sentence by pleading guilty to 15 counts. He is currently free on bond pending a federal prison being found for him.

Kye AllumsI saw this story on CNN this morning and I simply don't agree with this ruling by the NCAA.George Washington University basketball player Kay-Kay Allums has been allowed by the NCAA to change her sexual distinction from female to male. Although she has not undergone any surgery and will not be allowed to undergo testosterone therapy while competing.
Instead of Kay-Kay, her name is now Kye Allums. She is being labeled as the first ever transgender player in NCAA Division ! basketball history.
The 21-year old Allums says she has been a tomboy all of her life, and now considers herself a brother to her teammates.
"This means a lot," Allums said. "I didn't choose to be born in this body and feel the way I do. I decided to transition, that is change my name and pronouns because it bothered me to hide who I am, and I am trying to help myself and others to be who they are, I told my teammates first, and they, including my coaches, have supported me. My teammates have embraced me as the big brother of the team. They have been my family, and I love them all."
Ok, so if you are considered a man, should you be allowed to play on a woman's team and vice versa? Where do you draw the line?

Video After The JumpIf there were ever a kid prepared to deal with the pressures of fame, Willow Smith would be the one.
Success seems to come naturally for her family. With her dad Will becoming a star rapper/actor. And her mom Jada as well as older brother Jaden doing their thing on the big screen, Willow has had time to watch and learn.
So it shouldn't come as a surpise that the 10-year old's first song becomes a hit.
Yesterday November 2, Roc Nation's newest signeee made her national television debut singing "Whip My Hair" on the Ellen Degeneres show.

The hospital in Jerez where the 10 year old gave birthThe baby was born last week in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, said Micaela Navarro, the Andalusia region's social affairs minister.
Miss Navarro said the father of the baby is also a minor, and both the mother and the baby were in good health. Her department declined to give details, including the sex of the baby, but said authorities do not consider this a case of rape and that no criminal investigation is under way.
Under Spanish law, having consensual sex with someone under age 13 is classified as child abuse, an official with the Spanish Justice Ministry in Madrid said. But this particular case is complicated by the fact that the father of the baby is also a minor and it is not clear if he could be charged, the official said.
Spanish newspapers said the mother is of Romanian origin.
Diario de Jerez reported the girl was already pregnant when she arrived in Spain, but did not say when she came to this country. It is not clear if the father is in Spain.
Medical experts warn that because young girls are still growing, they are at higher risk during pregnancy. Studies have shown that teenage girls are more likely to give birth to premature babies and their infants have a higher chance of dying by age.
