Video After The Jump

Fox News issued an apology today after accidentally airing a man's suicide.

Police in Phoenix, Arizona were involved in a high speed chase trying to catch an alleged car jacking suspect. The chase, which lasted for more than an hour was being covered by Fox News.

Anchor Shepard Smith was providing viewers with details of what was happening when the suspect stopped the vehicle he was driving in a remote area and began to run.

After a few seconds the suspect stops and pulls out a gun, then shoots himself in the head before falling face down.

Get off it! Get off it! Get off it," Smith yelled, before the station cut to a commercial, but by then it was too late.

Smith later issued an apology for what an estimated 1.9 million viewers had witnessed.

12349534676?profile=original

We really messed up, and we’re all really sorry,” Smith said according to the New York Daily News. “That didn’t belong on TV. I personally apologize to you that it happened. We took every precaution we knew how to take to keep that from being on TV. And I personally apologize to you that that happened ... It is insensitive, it is just wrong. And that won’t happen again on my watch.

Is this guy's story doesn't scare people away from snorting cocaine I don't know what will.

James Brown of London once lived an ideal life. He made a fortune from selling property and was able to retire at the young age of 36. He then moved to Portugal where he was introduced to cocaine. He snorted so much of the drug for nine years it ate away the cartilage of his septum in his nostrils and destroyed his face. He also developed heart problems and became very paranoid.

His paranoia led him to start buying guns, lots of them to protect himself.

12349526689?profile=original

When police pulled the now 45-year old Brown's $190,000 Bentley over in December 2011 near Cross Hands, Camarthenshire in Wales they found $285,000 worth of cocaine hidden in the air vents and folding roof.

A subsequent search of Hurst House Hotel in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, where the millionaire was staying yielded a haul of illegal weapons.

According to the Daily Mail, "police found
a 9mm semi-automatic Walther PP1 pistol - similar to the gun used by James Bond , a Russian 9mm Tula Tokarev. a rifle and ammunition."

Brown later admitted to owning the drugs and guns.

Brown manfully admitted the guns were his," Judge Huw Davies said, when Brown appeared in court. "Clearly, illegal possession of a firearm is a serious offence and one which carries a minimum term. The circulation of hand guns in society is a matter of serious public concern."

Brown was sentenced to five years in prison.

Nicki Minaj wanted to do something special for Lil Wayne's 30th birthday so she bought him the one thing he probably didn't already own, a Campagna T-Rex 14R.

The three-wheeled motorcycle-car hybrid is a two-seater that weighs 1040 pounds, goes from 0-60 in 3.92 seconds and tops out at 144 miles per hour. It normally retails for around $58,000, but Nicki had Wayne's tricked out to bring the total cost of her gift to $70,000. And of course it had to be in red.

12349525075?profile=original

It was her way of saying thanks to the Young Money boss for everything he's done for her career.

According to TMZ, Wayne received his gift at his birthday party last night in Hollywood.

*UPDATE*

Flo Rida is facing some serious legal trouble with the IRS over unpaid taxes. According to The Daily Mail, the rapper owes the IRS $1,040,777.45. A lien has been placed on his 2.3-acre South Florida estate meaning he could be out of a home soon if he doesn't pay up.

According to legal documents the IRS filed in Miami-Dade County Court on September 7, Flo Rida hasn’t filed taxes since 2009.

To make matters worse for the rapper whose hits include "Low," Wild Ones" and "Whistle," security company ADT is taking him to court over an unpaid bill.

12349531652?profile=original

ADT hooked up Flo's $58,000 state of the art security system with numerous sensors, 27 cameras and smoke detectors. The company claims claims that Flo, real name, Tramar Dillard, paid the initial deposit of $19,366.66, but has failed to pay the remaining $38,733.

ADT is seeking the remaining fee plus interest, bringing the total amount owed to $47,134.40.

Flo claims that he didn't authorize the installation. According to him the contract is signed under his manager’s name, so he doesn't believe he's responsible for the bill.

A$AP Rocky sat down with Hot 97's Angie Martinez yesterday to talk about a variety of subjects, but the number one question Angie wanted to know was what was on his mind when he grabbed Rihanna's butt during their performance of "Cockiness" at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

"I got like this cocky holy ghost that came into me," he said. "We had fun, we had a great time and I thank her for that. I doubt I could get that close if she didn't want me to do something like that."

They also talked about his six nominations for the upcoming BET Hip Hop Awards, fashion and more.

Snoop Dogg is a long time weed connoisseur. The California MC is often seen lighting up blunts onstage, backstage and in the studio. He's now passing the tradition down to his 18-year old son, Corde "Spanky" Broadus, an aspiring rapper .

When pictures recently surfaced of father and son smoking out of a bong together some questioned whether getting high with your kids is something a parent should do.

12349517895?profile=original

The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up with The Doggfather to ask him about that very subject.

"What better way to [learn] than from the master?, Snoop said.

My kids can do whatever the hell they want," he explains further. "For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical. A lot of motherf*ckers don't have a relationship with their kids, and that's when they get on drugs and have suicidal thoughts and drive drunk. Me and my son is mellow. I'm his father, so I wanna show him the proper way because he looks up to me.

Would you get high with your kid if they were 18 + years of age?

Lil Wayne just added another impressive feat to his list of chart accomplishments. According to Billboard, the rap star has just passed Elvis Presley for the most hits on the Billboard 100 chart.

With his collaboration with The Game titled "Celebration" at No. 82, Weezy now has 109 entries on the chart surpassing Presley's 108.

While it's a big accomplishment for Wayne, Billboard notes that only 42 (39%) of his entries were as a lead artist. The rest were collaborations. All of Elvis' 108 entries were as a lead artist.
