Young Thug’s biological brother & YSL artist, Unfoonk is behind bars for violating the terms of the probation put in place after his plea deal in the Georgia RICO case.

The judge in Fulton County officially revoked Unfoonk’s probation Monday & sentenced him to 9 years & 6 months in prison after he was charged with firearm possession by a convicted felon ... among other offenses.

Judge Ural D. Glanville scolded Unfoonk during the sentencing ... reminding the Atlanta rapper of their conversation in May about the strict conditions of his probation, especially when it came to possessing a gun.

Back in December, Unfoonk (born Quantavious Grier) took a plea deal in the ongoing YSL RICO trial, in which he got credit for 2 years time served & was placed on probation for the next 10 years.

Gunna also took a plea around the same time as Unfoonk ... but it seems he's been using his freedom to record in the studio & dropped a comeback track last week.

May 6 (Reuters) - A gunman shot & killed 9 people & wounded at least 7 others at a busy mall north of Dallas on Saturday.

The gunman, whom authorities said they believe acted alone, was killed by a police officer after he began firing outside of the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Allen, Texas.

Allen fire department chief Jon Boyd told the same press conference that his department took at least 9 victims with gunshot wounds to area hospitals, 2 of whom died.

Medical City Healthcare, which runs 16 hospitals in the area, said in a statement that its trauma centers were treating 8 of the wounded victims, who ranged in age from 5 to 61.

One unidentified eyewitness said the gunman was "walking down the sidewalk just ... shooting his gun outside," & that "he was just shooting his gun everywhere for the most part."

Blood could be seen on sidewalks outside the mall & white sheets covering what appeared to be bodies.

Mass shootings have become commonplace in the U.S. with at least 198 so far in 2023, the most at this point in the year since at least 2016, according to the Gun Violence Archive. The nonprofit group defines a mass shooting as any in which 4 or more people are wounded or killed, not including the shooter.

CNN — Nine US servicemembers were killed after two helicopters with the 101st Airborne Division crashed in southwestern Kentucky on Wednesday, according to a US Army official. The source said there were no survivors.

The two HH-60 Blackhawk helicopters crashed around 10 p.m. Wednesday in Trigg County near the Tennessee border, officials at nearby Fort Campbell previously said.

Fort Campbell is expected to have a news conference at 10 a.m. ET.

Crewmembers were flying “during a routine training mission when the incident occurred,” the base said in a statement on Facebook.

Gov. Andy Beshear will travel to Fort Campbell to “support our troops and their families,” he said in a Thursday morning tweet.

Kentucky State Police got the call around 10:15 p.m. and rushed to an area with a field and woods, State Police Post 1 spokesperson Trooper Sarah Burgess said, adding “numerous agencies” were assisting.

No residential areas are affected, she said.

Fort Campbell personnel are “focused on caring for the servicemembers and their families,” its statement said.

“I am devastated to learn about the Army helicopter accident over Kentucky involving our brave 101st Airborne,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky said in a statement on Twitter. “My team is in contact with the Army and authorities on the ground. Please pray for our servicemembers and their families as we learn more.”

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Apparently false fears of a shooting at a rap concert in Rochester, New York, sent a crowd surging toward the exits, killing 1 person & injuring 9 others.

The injuries at Sunday night’s concert featuring rappers GloRilla & Finesse2tymes were caused by people being trampled, Police Chief David M. Smith said at a news briefing Monday. “We do not have any evidence of gunshots being fired or of anyone being shot or stabbed at the scene.”

As the concert at Rochester’s Main Street Armory ended just after 11 p.m., people exiting the venue began to surge dangerously, Smith said. Police made their way inside & found 3 women with critical injuries, he said.

A 33-year-old woman died died at a hospital & the other 2 women were in critical condition Monday. 7 additional people were taken to hospitals & treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

“What began last night as a night of live music & fun for the performer GloRilla ended in tragedy with 1 person dead & 2 more fighting for their lives,” the chief said.

While there is no evidence of shots being fired, Smith said, police are investigating several possible causes of the fatal surge, including “possibly crowd size, shots fired, pepper spray & other contributing factors.”

GloRilla, a Memphis native whose 2022 song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” with Hitkidd was nominated for a Grammy for best rap performance, tweeted that she was “praying everybody is ok.”

Almost 9 tons of cocaine hidden in a single shipping container was seized by police in Ecuador. Concealed in a shipment of bananas, the drugs were headed for Belgium from the port terminal of Guayaquil - a major transit hub for the cocaine trade.

The drugs were worth $330 million in Europe.

The seizure underscores Ecuador’s growing importance in the global drug-trafficking business, in which it has grown to be a key transit hub in the last decade. Cocaine produced in the South American nations of Colombia, Bolivia & Peru often pass through the massive port in Guayaquil en route to Europe & the U.S.

In 2021, authorities seized more than 200 tons of drugs, nearly double that of the previous year. During 2020, Ecuador seized the third largest volume of drugs in the world, behind Colombia & the U.S.

So much cocaine is being seized that Ecuadorian authorities are turning it into concrete by combining it with cement, sand & water, supported by the United Nations’ Office on Drugs and Crime. The government can’t burn enough seized cocaine fast enough & the method has given authorities a way to dispose of large amounts of cocaine in a matter of days.

Ecuador has blamed Mexican drug cartels for a spike in violence that has accompanied a growth in drug seizures. The incursion by both the Sinaloa Cartel & Jalisco New Generation Cartel into Ecuador has fueled an increasingly bloody & aggressive drug war that resembles violence seen during the worst days of the Mexican drug war.

Decapitated heads found in the streets & bodies left hanging from bridges are an increasingly common occurrence in Ecuador, which only a few years ago was one of Latin America’s most peaceful countries. As local gangs team up with Mexico cartels to win control of the drug market, murder rates have soared & a record number of Ecuadorians are trying to migrate to the U.S.

MORBI, India (AP) — Police in western India arrested nine people on Monday as they investigated the collapse of a newly repaired 143-year-old suspension bridge in one of the country’s worst accidents in years, officials said. The collapse Sunday evening in Gujarat state plunged hundreds of people into a river, killing at least 134.

As families mourned the dead, attention turned to why the pedestrian bridge, built during British colonialism in the late 1800s & touted by the state’s tourism website as an “artistic & technological marvel,” collapsed & who might be responsible. The bridge had reopened just 4 days earlier.

Inspector-General Ashok Yadav said police have formed a special investigative team, and that those arrested include managers of the bridge’s operator, Oreva Group & its staff.

Gujarat authorities opened a case against Oreva for suspected culpable homicide, attempted culpable homicide & other violations.

The bridge has been repaired several times in the past & many of its original parts have been replaced over the years.

Sandeepsinh Zala, a Morbi official, told the Indian Express newspaper the company reopened the bridge without first obtaining a “fitness certificate.”

Authorities said the structure collapsed under the weight of hundreds of people. A security video of the disaster showed it shaking violently & people trying to hold on to its cables & metal fencing before the aluminum walkway gave way & crashed into the river.

The bridge split in the middle with its walkway hanging down, its cables snapped.

Police said at least 134 people were confirmed dead & many others were admitted to hospitals in critical condition. State minister Harsh Sanghvi said most of the victims were teenagers, women & older people.

At least 177 survivors were pulled from the river, said Jigar Khunt, an information department official in Gujarat.

Nine migrants died after being swept downriver while attempting to cross the Rio Grande at the Texas border, Customs and Border Protection confirmed to Axios.

The big picture: The migrants were passing through Eagle Pass, a town in southern Texas that has become "a major entry point for migrants," the New York Times reports.

*At least 37 of the 53 migrants taken into custody were rescued from the river on the American side of the border, CBP told Axios in a statement.

*Six migrants were found drowned by U.S. officials, CBP said. Mexican authorities found another six dead on their side of the border.

*Local authorities are still searching the area for more potential victims.

*Authorities told the New York Times that "fierce currents had swept a number of migrants downstream" while trying to cross the border.

*The fire chief in Eagle Pass told NYT that drownings have become rather common at the Rio Grande in recent years. He pointed to an incident in July when 12 dead bodies were recovered at the border.

KHIMKI, Russia, Aug 4 (Reuters) - A Russian court on Thursday sentenced U.S. basketball star Brittney Griner to 9 years in prison after finding her guilty of deliberately bringing cannabis-infused vape cartridges into Russia despite them being illegal.

Her sentencing could pave the way for a U.S.-Russia prisoner swap that would include the 31-year-old athlete & an imprisoned Russian who was once a prolific arms dealer.

Griner earlier pleaded with a Russian judge not to "end her life" with a harsh prison sentence for bringing in vape cartridges containing hashish oil, before breaking down in tears in court.

The Russian prosecutor called for Griner, a two-time Olympic gold medalist & a Women's National Basketball Association star, to be sentenced to 9-1/2 years prison if she was found guilty of bringing illegal drugs into the country.

Griner was detained at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport on Feb. 17 with vape cartridges containing hashish oil in her luggage. She pleaded guilty but said she had neither intended to bring a banned substance to Russia nor to hurt anybody.

"I made an honest mistake & I hope that in your ruling, that it doesn't end my life here," Griner said in court before breaking down in tears.

The case threw the Texan athlete into the geopolitical maelstrom triggered when President Vladimir Putin sent troops into Ukraine on Feb. 24.

With U.S.-Russian relations at their most strained since the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, U.S. President Joe Biden is under pressure to intervene on behalf of Americans held in Russia.

"I know everybody keeps talking about political pawn & politics, but I hope that is far from this courtroom," Griner said.

Cannabis is illegal in Russia for both medicinal and recreational purposes.

A Tennessee mother is charged with being a rather prolific sexual abuser of teenage boys. A grand jury in McMinn County, Tennessee, indicted Melissa A. Blair, 38, for charges including aggravated statutory rape, according to Sheriff Joe Guy.

She allegedly contacted 9 teenage boys on social media & offered them items in exchange for what officials described as “sexual encounters.” Guy voiced concern there could be more victims.

“The current charges are related to 9 confirmed male juvenile victims, related to incidents which occurred from Spring of 2020 through late 2021,” Guy said. “It appears that Ms. Blair was communicating with the juveniles on social media, arranging meetings with them & trading items for sexual encounters with them.”

A mother of 1 of the boys said that according to her son, Blair offered items including vape pens.

Officials said that Blair has never worked for the school, but her son used to attend classes there before transferring. She has also served as a booster club member.

The sheriff’s office got a referral from the Tennessee Department of Children’s Service on Dec. 9 alleging that Blair was having sexual encounters with boys who attended McMinn Central High School.

McMinn County Director of Schools Lee Parkison said someone also left an anonymous note in his office.

Blair is charged with 18 counts of aggravated statutory rape, 4 counts of human trafficking by patronizing prostitution, and 1 count of solicitation of a minor.

KENT, Wash. (KHQ) — On Valentine's Day around 3:15 p.m., Kent Police say an officer was dispatched following a phone report regarding a potentially missing person. According to the release, the officer spoke with someone who stated her severely disabled adult sister had been missing since earlier in the month.

An investigation was soon underway, and it was discovered the sister had been last seen on Feb. 5 when her 45-year-old mother parked her vehicle at a Kent gas station and walked away, leaving the daughter inside the vehicle.

KPD says further investigation showed the car had been privately towed at the request of gas station personnel to a lot in Burien. Officers contacted the tow company, who located the daughter still inside the vehicle.

The missing woman had been alone in the car at the tow yard for 9 days in near-freezing temperatures.

Medical aid was immediately requested. King County Sheriff's Deputies and King County Fire responded, locating the disabled woman in critical condition. She was transported to a hospital for immediate life-saving treatment.

KPD detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. Kent Police Chief Padilla said on the matter, "We are extremely relieved that we were able to locate and rescue the victim. If not for the efforts of our Officers and the support of King County Sheriffs and Fire, this incident would likely have ended in tragedy."

At least 19 people are dead, including nine children, after the city’s deadliest fire in more than 30 years tore through a Bronx apartment building Sunday morning, according to a police official.

The five-alarm blaze broke out just before 11 a.m. at 333 E 181st St, a 19-story building in the West Bronx, the FDNY said.

“This is going to be one of the worst fires we have witnessed in the City of New York in modern times,” Mayor Eric Adams said.

Around 200 FDNY members responded to battle the inferno.

Among the dead is a 4-year old, according to police sources. Fire officials said that at least 32 people sustained life-threatening injuries.

FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro said authorities “expect there to be numerous fatalities, but we don’t know yet.”

Adams, speaking from the scene of the blaze Sunday, called it “a horrific, horrific painful moment for the City of New York.”

“The impact of this fire is going to really bring a level of pain and despair in this city,” the mayor said at a press conference.

Among 63 residents injured, 32 had life-threatening injuries, nine had serious injuries, and 22 were treated with non-life-threatening injuries, Adams said. One FDNY member was also injured and brought to the hospital.

Nigro said at a presser that the department responded within three minutes and the fire spanned the second and the third floors.

“This smoke extended the entire height of the building, completely unusual,” he said. “Members found victims on every floor in stairwells.”

Nigro called the fire “unprecedented in our city.”

“The last time we had a loss of life that may be this horrific was at Happy Land Fire over 30 years ago here in the Bronx.”

Footage from social media shows fire fighters attempting to scale numerous ladders in order to save people.

Footage from social media shows firefighters attempting to scale numerous ladders in order to save people.

Fire officials don’t yet know the origin of the fire.s left open causing the fire to spread and smoke to spread, which is always a problem for us. As we see here by the broken windows throughout the building, this fire took its toll on our city,” he said.

The building currently stands as a shell of its former self, with windows and multiple floors broken and obvious fire damage on the lower floors.

Cristal Diaz, 27, a resident of the 15th floor, grabbed cousins, her aunt and dog “Fluffy” when she realized there was a fire.

“I was drinking coffee in the living room and I started smelling smoke. We started putting water on towels and the bottom of the door. Everything was crazy,” Diaz said. “We didn’t know what to do. We looked out the windows and saw all the dead bodies they were taking with the blankets.

Alanny, 13, her niece, said, “We saw moms fainting. They saw their kids dying.”

“We saw a bunch of bodies coming out. People from my childhood were dying,” Alanny said.

Christopher Carrasquilo, 65, who lives next door, ran into the building to help save residents.

“A little kid was stuck in the elevator. I had to bring him down. It was something like 9/11,” he said with tears in his eyes.

“They need fire escapes. They gotta put fire escapes,” he said. “The owner who owns this building gotta do something about it.”

Icy conditions made it tough to fight the fire, and the FDNY said it took more than an hour to put down the blaze.

Rachel McKenzie, a ninth floor resident, was in tears at the scene. “It is all too much. Oh God,” she said. “They’re still looking for women and children. I can’t talk.”

Another ninth floor resident, Fatima, who declined to give her last name, said she is blessed to be alive.

“You can’t explain it. Thank god I found my 3-year-old daughter. We went down the stairwell and it was pitch black. You couldn’t see a thing,” she said. “We went onto the 6th floor and a neighbor let us in and we stayed there until the firemen took us out. It was traumatizing.”

Harrowing images from the scene show a firefighter cradling a baby rescued from the fire, a victim on a stretcher, and a woman sitting on the ground being helped by paramedics with soot on her face.

“Something like this happens, but you never expect this to happen to you,” Diaz said.

Before Sunday, the city’s deadliest blaze in more than a quarter-century killed 13 people —including a year-old child — in a Bronx apartment building the night of Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017. That fire was the deadliest New York City blaze since 87 people perished in March 1990 in the Happy Land social-club arson attack, which took place less than a mile away.

LYNN, Mass. (AP) — A white Massachusetts woman has pleaded guilty to assault and civil rights charges and been sentenced to probation for driving her car toward 3 Black women & their & children outside a cookie shop & yelling racial slurs at them, prosecutors said.

Rhonda Wozniak, 61, of Lynn, was sentenced Tuesday in Lynn District Court to 9 months of probation in the encounter in the parking lot of a Swampscott cookie shop. She was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service & stay away from the victims.

The women & the children, who ranged in age from 5 to 12, were returning to their cars after visiting the shop on the evening of July 28, 2020, when Wozniak “came speeding toward them in her motor vehicle, nearly hitting them,” according to the prosecution’s account.

When 1 of the women asked her to slow down, Wozniak shouted racial insults & slurs “& told them to go back where they belong,” prosecutors said.

“The defendant’s action were harmful & offensive, not only to the victims, but also to the community at large,” prosecutors said.

Wozniak was identified through her vehicle’s license plate, which was captured on video by 1 of the victims & on surveillance video from a business.

Wozniak’s attorneys, Doug Ryan and Joe Simons, said in a statement that they had been preparing for a trial but that their client “ultimately decided to plead guilty & in exchange was sentenced to probation.”

GREENBELT, Md. (Fox 5) - Two members of the neo-Nazi organization The Base who were living in Delaware when they discussed bringing firearms to a pro-gun rally in Richmond were sentenced to 9 years in prison on Thursday.

FBI agents arrested former Canadian Armed Forces reservist Patrik Jordan Mathews, U.S. Army veteran Brian Mark Lemley Jr. of Elkton, Md. & a third member of a group called The Base four days before a pro-gun rally in Virginia in January 2020.

The Base is part of a larger far-right movement the Southern Poverty Law Center described as "accelerationist" – an ideology that works to shift the country toward a second civil war. The Base envisions such a civil war as a race war.

The judge who sentenced Mathews and Lemley to prison concluded that they intended to engage in terrorist activity. U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang’s decision to apply a "terrorism enhancement" to their sentences significantly increased their recommended prison terms under federal guidelines.

Chuang said recorded conversations between Mathews and Lemley captured the "virulence" & "passion" in their willingness to kill people & bring down the U.S. government.

Lemley pleaded guilty to charges in both Maryland and Delaware, which included conspiring to transport and house "certain aliens," as well as weapons charges and obstruction of justice.

Mathews, a Canadian national who had been living in Delaware, also pleaded guilty to Maryland and Delaware charges that included alien-related and weapon charges. He also pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice in Delaware.

"He was intent on violence. He was intent on murder," said Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Windom.

The third co-defendant, William Garfield Bilbrough IV, was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty in December to helping Mathews illegally enter the U.S. from Canada in 2019.

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — A man convicted of killing nine people in arson fires in his neighborhood was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole for each death.

Judge Christine Croce also ordered that Stanley Ford, of Akron, serve the terms consecutively.

Ford, 62, has maintained his innocence. He was found guilty Sept. 21 of 26 of the 29 counts against him, including aggravated murder and aggravated arson. A jury recommended this month that he be sentenced to life in prison instead of the death penalty, although the judge had the final say.

Besides the life terms for the murders, Croce also imposed an additional 21-year sentence for attempted aggravated murder with a violent offender specification.

Ford did not speak at the sentencing. His lawyer — who asked the judge Tuesday to not impose consecutive terms — said Ford plans to appeal the sentence.

Summit County prosecutors said Ford killed a couple in 2016 and two adults and five children in 2017. They used surveillance video footage, security alarm records and the testimony of neighbors to show Ford was responsible.

Prosecutors said Ford set the fires because of disputes with his neighbors. Ford’s attorney argued at trial that his client could not be identified in the surveillance videos and added that other potential suspects were identified.

Ford’s initial trial began in March 2020. After a week of testimony and several delays, Summit County Judge Christine Croce declared a mistrial the following June at the request of Ford’s attorneys, who cited concerns about Ford’s ability to get a fair trial during the coronavirus pandemic.

Video After The Jump

In the latest clip, Boskoe100 reacted to the fallout from DaBaby's homophobic remarks at Rolling Loud. He responded to the DaBaby apologizing to nine different HIV organizations and felt DaBaby should have stood firm on his comments if that's how he truly felt. While Boskoe called the rapper's remarks "ignorant" and "uncalled for," he encouraged DaBaby not to apologize for being who he is before claiming gay people's feelings are protected. After DJ Vlad added that people in privileged positions can't complain about their issues, the two discussed the long-term and short-term implications of apologizing rather than maintaining a controversial position.
