(Cleveland.com) Nine people were injured during an incident at Ohio State University and a suspect was killed, according to police and other reports.

A 90-minute campus lockdown was lifted at 11:30 a.m. All classes are cancelled for today.

"The scene is now secure, and law enforcement will continue to have a visible presence on campus," the university's department of public safety said. Campus remained open but about a dozen buildings are closed.

Law enforcement sources told the Columbus Dispatch that a car rammed Watts Hall about 9:40 a.m., and at least two people got out of the car. One person had a gun and another appeared to have a large knife.

Columbus Police, Ohio State police and deputies with the Franklin County sheriff's deputies rushed to the scene.

Details of what occurred have not been released. Some students said a fire alarm was pulled at Watts and when student went outside the car drove into the crowd.

Some people were injured by the car.

Victims were taken to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.

The Wexner Medical Center said it was treating four victims, none with life-threatening injuries.

Dylann Roof was attacked by another inmate

Video After The Jump

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Dylann Roof and his appointed attorney have no plans to file charges against the inmate accused of attacking him Thursday morning as the accused church shooter went to the showers.

According to Charleston County Sheriff Al Cannon, the assault happened shortly before 8 a.m. as Roof was being escorted to the showers in Housing Unit 1B. Cannon says the two detention center guards had moved away from Roof, one to take a break and another to hand toilet paper to another inmate.

That's when detention center officials say 25-year-old Dwayne Stafford, a fellow protective custody inmate, ran down a flight of stairs and through a door that should have been locked so he could attack Roof. Jail records show Stafford is being held in the jail on assault, drug, and robbery charges from January 2015.

12352287669?profile=original

Dwayne Stafford

The attack was broken up by one of the detention deputies assigned to the housing unit.

Stafford hit Roof in the face and back, leaving him with bruises on his face and back, the report adds. Roof was checked out by jail medical staff and returned to his cell.

Cannon said the incident has led detention center officials to look at policies and processes in place at the jail and make sure that complacency is not becoming an issue.

"The very least, we have complacency -- for police officers and detentions officers it is one of the biggest problems we face," Cannon said.

The sheriff said they are also looking into how Stafford made it through what should have been a locked door, which means looking at the electronic locking mechanism.

"Stafford should not have been able to get through that door," he said.

It's all part of a larger internal investigation stemming from the incident.

Cannon said Roof did not provoke the attack, that it was by surprise. He also could not shed any light on Stafford's motivation.

Dylann Roof

He did say Roof did not fight back.

"I don't think that there was a back and forth fight, so to speak. He was protecting himself from blows," Cannon said.

Roof faces 33 charges in federal court, and nine murder and three attempted murder charges in state court. Prosecutors in both courts are seeking the death penalty.

MUNICH (AP) — Police warned people to stay indoors Friday as they hunted for whoever opened fire at a Munich shopping mall, killing eight people and wounding others in a rampage they described as suspected terrorism.

"At the moment no culprit has been arrested," police in the Bavarian capital said on social media. "The search is taking place at high speed."

Germany's elite GSG9 anti-terror police, as well as federal police, were called in to help.

12352252073?profile=original

Witnesses reported seeing three men with firearms near the Olympia Einkaufszentrum mall.

Police said eight people were killed and an unknown number of others were wounded. Munich police spokesman Marcus Martins said a ninth body had been found and police were "intensively examining" whether it might be one of the suspects.

?m=02&d=20160722&t=2&i=1146675505&w=&fh=&fw=&ll=644&pl=429&sq=&r=LYNXNPEC6L1DO

The city sent a smartphone alert telling people to stay indoors and German rail company Deutsche Bahn stopped train traffic to Munich's main station.

The attack started at a fast food restaurant shortly before 6 p.m. local time, police spokesman Thomas Baumann told German news agency dpa.

Video obtained by The Associated Press from German news agency NonstopNews showed two bodies with sheets draped over them not far from a McDonald's across from the mall. Another video posted online shows a gunman emerging from the door of the McDonald's, raising what appears to be a pistol with both hands, and aiming at people on the sidewalk, firing as they flee in terror.

Germany's Interior Ministry said Munich police had set up a hotline for concerned citizens. Residents of Munich opened their doors to people seeking shelter using the Twitter hashtag #opendoor.

Also on Twitter, police asked people to refrain from speculating about the attack. Germany's interior minister cut short his holiday in the United States to go back to Berlin late Friday to meet with security officials.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's was being regularly briefed on the attack, said her chief of staff, Peter Altmaier.

"All that we know and can say right now is that it was a cruel and inhumane attack," he said on German public channel ARD. "We can't rule out that there are terrorist links. We can't confirm them, but we are investigating along those lines too."

Altmaier said numerous attacks had been prevented in Germany in recent years "but, and this is important, there can never be absolute security."

Police responded in large numbers to the mall in the northern part of Munich, not far from the city's Olympic Stadium in the Moosach district of the Bavarian capital.

?m=02&d=20160722&t=2&i=1146689828&w=&fh=&fw=&ll=644&pl=429&sq=&r=LYNXNPEC6L1GI

It was also not far from where Palestinian attackers opened fire in the Olympic Village in 1972, killing 11 Israeli athletes. Five guerrillas and a police officer were also killed. The GSG9 anti-terrorism unit was created after that attack, though the city saw a worse one in 1980, when 13 people were killed and more than 200 injured at the city's annual Oktoberfest in a bombing blamed on a student with ties to a neo-Nazi group.

460x.jpg

It was the second attack in Germany in less than a week. On Monday, a 17-year-old Afghan wounded four people in an ax-and-knife attack on a regional train near the Bavarian city of Wuerzburg, and another woman outside as he fled. All survived, although one man from the train remains in life-threatening condition. The attacker was shot and killed by police.

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the train attack, but authorities have said the teen likely acted alone.

Munich police called the mall shooting "suspected terrorism" in a statement but did not elaborate on who might have been behind it.

12352252096?profile=original

In the U.S., President Barack Obama pledged to provide Germany with whatever help it might need to investigate the mall shooting.

Video After The Jump

Azie Faison, whose life was portrayed in the 2002 film Paid in Full, spoke to VladTV about getting shot nine times after being robbed by his sister's boyfriend. He explains that his sister's boyfriend, Kevin Clark, just got out of jail, and instead of setting him up with drugs to sell Azie said that he took care of Clark by giving him money and a car at first. However, Azie believes that Kevin saw the level he was operating at and decided to rob him.

The former Harlem drug dealer then spoke about Kevin and his accomplices robbing him of his chain and the money in his pockets after shooting him in the head before asking him to open the safe. After revealing that he awoke after his spirit left his body, Azie says that he discovered that his aunt and some other friends at his apartment were shot and killed in the ordeal; he was one of three who survived the shooting.

To hear more about what Azie had to say about the situation, including being accused of snitching to police, hit the clip below.

Video After The Jump

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department intends to seek the death penalty against Dylann Roof, the man charged with killing nine black parishioners last year in a church in Charleston, South Carolina, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Tuesday.

"The nature of the alleged crime and the resulting harm compelled this decision," Lynch said in a brief statement that said the department had considered "all relevant factual and legal issues."

Roof is awaiting trial on federal hate crime charges in connection with the June 17 Emanuel AME Church shooting, which contributed to a national conversation about race relations and ultimately led to the removal of a Confederate battle flag from the grounds of the South Carolina Statehouse.

12352152682?profile=original

Roof is also charged in state court with nine counts of murder, and South Carolina prosecutors have already announced plans to seek the death penalty when he stands trial on those charges next year. Solicitor Scarlett Wilson has said she wants her case to be tried first.

Roof, who is white, appeared in photos waving Confederate flags and burning or desecrating U.S. flags, and purportedly wrote of fomenting racial violence. Survivors told police that he hurled racial insults during the attack. He was arrested a day after the shootings when a motorist spotted his Confederate license plate.

Federal prosecutors charged Roof with hate crimes one month after the shooting, saying he was motivated by racial hatred and a desire to commit a "notorious attack" when he opened fire inside the church.

"To carry out these twin goals of fanning racial flames and exacting revenge, Roof further decided to seek out and murder African-Americans because of their race," Lynch said at the time.

Though the Justice Department says it's committed to seeking the death penalty, federal executions are exceedingly rare. The last time a federal defendant was put to death was in 2003. And President Barack Obama has said he's "deeply concerned" about the death penalty's implementation.

Roof's attorneys in the federal case have said their client would be willing to plead guilty if the death penalty were not on the table. Defense lawyer David Bruck said he had no comment on the federal decision to seek the death penalty.

The only other person charged in connection with the case has already pleaded guilty. Joey Meek, a friend with whom Roof spent time in the days before the shootings, last month admitted to lying to federal authorities. He has agreed to help with the prosecution against Roof.

At Roof's initial appearance before a judge, several relatives of the shooting victims said they forgave the alleged shooter and that they would pray for him. On Tuesday, Malcolm Graham, brother of shooting victim Cynthia Hurd, said federal prosecutors had talked to family members before announcing the decision and that he felt it was "an appropriate punishment."

"What he did that night was kill innocent individuals at a Bible study," Graham said. "Not only was it an attack on those who were there, it was an attack on a race of people."

Clinton Portis could have bought almost anything he desired during his career in the National Football League. The 34-year old former star earned $43 million over a nine years, in which he played for the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins. He was taken in the second round by the Broncos in the 2002 draft.

Today, the man who in the regular season rushed for 9,923 yards, scored 75 touchdowns and was voted to two Pro Bowls is in deep financial trouble..

The Sporting News reports that Portis filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November, citing debts totaling $4,857,659.50.

His debts include:

* $500,000 to Entertainment Tonight correspondent Nischelle Turner

* $412,000 in unpaid domestic support to four different women

* $390,000 in back taxes

* $287,178.56 to the MGM Grand

* $170,000 to the Borgato Casino in Atlantic City

* $500,000 to his mom

* $1,223,020 in mortgage deficiencies

* $65,553 for a repossessed BMW

* $899.09 in unpaid telephone bills

According to the filings, Portis now makes $3,500 monthly from NFL disability payments, as well as $1,000 for his sideline reporting gigs.

12351885488?profile=original

The money issues Portis faces are unfortunately the norm for athletes in his profession.

A 2009 Sports Illustrated report found that within two years of leaving the league, 78% of former NFL players have gone bankrupt or are under financial stress because of joblessness or divorce.

Portis has reportedly been "a victim of swindlers," according to The Sporting News. He also lost money in a failed casino venture in Alabama.

St. Louis police arrested 9 people following a night protests that some people used as an opportunity to commit acts of arson, break-ins and looting.

The unrest stems from the shooting death of 18-year old back teen Mansur Ball-Bey by two white officers, on Wednesday August 19.

Authorities say Ball-Bey ran, then pointed a gun at them when they arrived at his residence to serve a search warrant for guns and drugs used in a felony. Police fired a total of four shots, killing the teen.

Following the shooting police said they found four guns and crack cocaine in the home.

Citizens took to the streets and began to protest the shooting almost immediately. By nightfall things turned ugly as rocks and bottles were thrown at police. Officers responded by deploying teargas.

“There has to be a better way, but the better way is not to terrorize an already terrorized community,” Rev. Renita Lamkin told St. Louis Today. “How they deal with the situation is classist and dehumanizing. The people here don't matter as much to them.”

Video And Pics After The Jump

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — A gunman sitting in a packed movie theater stood up about 20 minutes into the showing of "Trainwreck" and began firing into the crowd, killing two and wounding at least nine others before fatally shooting himself, authorities said.

460x.jpg

The gunman initially tried escaping Thursday night by blending into the fleeing crowd, but turned back when he saw police heading inside from the parking lot, authorities said. Officers tailing him back into the theater then heard a single gunshot and found him dead inside, police said.

They described the shooter as a 58-year-old "lone white male" with a criminal history but did not immediately disclose his name. Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft said the gunman was by himself and started the rampage by shooting the two people sitting in front of him.

At least one theatergoer described the attack, saying an older man stood up about 20 minutes into the 7:10 p.m. showing of the movie "Trainwreck" at the Grand 16 theater in Lafayette and began shooting.

460x.jpg

"We heard a loud pop we thought was a firecracker," Katie Domingue told The Advertiser.

"He wasn't saying anything. I didn't hear anybody screaming either," said Domingue, who added that she heard about six shots before she and her fiance ran to the nearest exit, leaving behind her shoes and purse.

Stories of heroism immediately began to emerge with presidential hopeful Gov. Bobby Jindal, who traveled to the scene within hours of the shooting, telling reporters that a teacher who was in the theater jumped in front of a second teacher, saving her life. The second teacher then managed to pull a fire alarm to alert other moviegoers, he said.

"Her friend literally jumped over her and, by her account, actually saved her life," Jindal said.

President Barack Obama was briefed on the shooting aboard Air Force One by Lisa Monaco, his homeland security adviser, while on his way to Africa for a two-nation visit, the White House said.

Obama asked his team to keep him updated on the investigation and the status of those wounded. He also offered his thoughts and prayers to the community and to the families of those killed.

The shooting took place a week after the man who shot and killed 12 people at a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., was convicted and on the very day a jury said his attack was cruel enough to consider sentencing him to death.

460x.jpg

Nine people ranging in age from their late teens to their late 60s were wounded, Craft said. At least one of those was in critical condition and being operated on at an area hospital, he said. The conditions of the others were not immediately known.

Craft said at a news conference that police know who the gunman is, and that he had a criminal history, but they are not immediately releasing his name. State police superintendent Col. Michael D. Edmonson said the body of the shooter and "at least one other person" were still inside the theater. He said there were about 100 people inside the theater at the time of the shooting.

Early Friday, about a dozen law enforcement personnel were gathered at a Motel 6 in Lafayette. Louisiana State Police spokesman Maj. Doug Cain said the investigation led them to a room at the Motel 6. Authorities were investigating whether the shooter had stayed there, Cain said. He said the bomb squad swept the room before going in as a precaution.

About a dozen police personnel could be seen outside the motel. At one point, an officer carried out a cardboard box from the room and other officers could be seen knocking on neighboring doors.

Edmonson added that police believe the gunman fired shots only at the theater and had not waged an attack anywhere else beforehand. However, authorities said they were not releasing his name immediately in part so police could safely track down and interview friends or family who knew the shooter.

"We have no reason to believe that this individual acted beyond this location here," Edmonson said.

He said police saw something suspicious inside the shooter's car and that a bomb-sniffing dog "hit on three different locations" in the vehicle, "so out of an abundance of caution we brought in the bomb squad."

No explosives were found in the car or in the theater complex.

12351651864?profile=original

"Trainwreck" star Amy Schumer sent a tweet: "My heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana." The comedy stars Schumer as a magazine writer who decides to live a life of promiscuity after her father convinces her that monogamy isn't realistic, but in spite of her best efforts, finds herself falling in love with one of her interview subjects.

Gov. Jindal called the shooting "an awful night for Louisiana."

"What we can do now is we can pray," Jindal said. "We can hug these families. We can shower them with love, thoughts and prayers."

Lafayette is about 60 miles west of the state capital of Baton Rouge. Outside the movie theater complex hours after the shooting, a couple of dozen police cars were still at the scene, which authorities had cordoned off with police tape as onlookers took photos with their cellphones.

12351652099?profile=original

A small group of theater employees stood outside the police perimeter. A man who identified himself as a general manager declined to be interviewed: "We would appreciate it if you could give us some space," he said.

Landry Gbery (pronounced Berry), 26, of Lafayette, was watching a different movie, "Self/less" at the time of the shooting when the lights came up and a voice over the intercom told everyone there was an emergency and they needed to leave.

Gbery said he never heard gunshots, and assumed the emergency was a fire until he got outside and saw a woman lying on the ground.

"I was really anxious for everybody at that point," Gbery said. "Fortunately I was lucky. I took the right exit."

Tanya Clark was at the concession stand in the lobby when she saw people screaming and running past her. She said she immediately grabbed her 5-year-old daughter and ran.

"In that moment, you don't think about anything," Clark, 36, told The New York Times. "That's when you realize that your wallet and phone are not important."

12351652492?profile=original

Clark's son Robert Martinez said he saw an older woman run past with blood streaming down her leg, and screaming that someone had shot her.

The Louisiana shooting occurred three years after James Holmes entered a crowded movie theater in suburban Denver and opened fire during the premier of a Batman film, killing 12 people and wounding 70 others.

12351653258?profile=original

A jury last week quickly convicted Holmes on 165 counts of murder, attempted murder and other charges, rejecting defense arguments that he was insane and suffering delusions that drove him to the July 20, 2012, attack.

Video And Pics After The Jump

WACO, Texas (Associated Press) — A shootout among rival motorcycle gangs at a popular Central Texas restaurant left nine bikers dead and 18 injured, and it sent panicked patrons and bystanders fleeing for safety, a police spokesman said Sunday.

The violence erupted shortly after noon at a busy Waco shopping center along Interstate 35 that draws a large lunchtime crowd. Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said eight people died at the scene of the shooting at Twin Peaks restaurant and another person died at a hospital.

The nine killed were all members of biker gangs, he said, as were the 18 people who were taken to hospitals with injuries that include stab and gunshot wounds. Some victims are being treated for both, he said.

460x.jpg

"This is probably one of the most gruesome crime scenes I've ever seen in my 34 years of law enforcement," Swanton said, later adding, "I was amazed that we didn't have innocent civilians killed or injured."

At least 100 people have been detained for questioning, Swanton said late Sunday night.

Swanton said at least five rival gangs gathered at Twin Peaks for a meeting that he said focused on turf and recruitment, two areas where the groups have often clashed. Preliminary findings indicate a dispute broke out in a bathroom, escalated to include knives and firearms and eventually spilled into the restaurant parking lot, he said. There were 150 to 200 gang members inside the restaurant at the time. Shots were fired inside and outside the restaurant, he said.

McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara, whose office is involved in the investigation, said all nine who were killed were members of the Banditos or Cossacks gangs.

460x.jpg

Swanton described the interior of the restaurant after a Sunday night walk-through, saying it was littered with bullet casings, knives, a club, bodies and pools of blood. Authorities would be working the rest of the night to process the reams of evidence, he said.

Police were aware of the meeting in advance, Swanton said, and at least 12 Waco officers in addition to state troopers were outside the restaurant, part of a national chain that features scantily clad waitresses, when the fight began.

460x.jpg

"We've been made aware in the past few months of rival biker gangs ... being here and causing issues," Swanton said.

Officers shot armed bikers, Swanton said, adding that the actions of law enforcement prevented further deaths. It was not known if any of the nine dead were killed by police officers.

Swanton said that the restaurant's operators also were aware of the meeting in advance, and he described the management as uncooperative with authorities in addressing concerns.

"Apparently the management (of Twin Peaks) wanted them here and so we didn't have any say-so on whether they could be here or not," Swanton said.

A statement sent Sunday night on behalf of Jay Patel, operating partner for the Waco franchise, said, "Our management team has had ongoing and positive communications with the police," and added that the restaurant was cooperating with the investigation.

Swanton addressed Patel's statement late Sunday night, calling it a "fabrication."

Rick Van Warner, a spokesman for the Dallas-based corporate franchisor, said the company is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the shooting and is "seriously considering revoking" the Waco location's franchise agreement.

Van Warner said he couldn't address what the franchise owners "did or didn't do leading up to this," but added that the company is "very upset that clearly our standards of safety and security were not upheld in this particular case," he said.

460x.jpg

Doug Greeness, a biker from Belton, Texas, was near the scene Sunday evening. He said he's a member of a family riding club and was waiting for friends to be released from custody so he could return home.

Greeness, who was not inside the restaurant when the melee broke out, described the event as a meeting of a biker association called the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents. He said the group meets to "discuss issues within the biker community."

460x.jpg

Officers with numerous law enforcement agencies were seen parked along the service road for I-35 near the city and were stationed in several points in downtown Waco around the local convention center. Swanton said authorities are increasing security in the area to prevent further violence among the gangs.

In addition to local and state police, agents from the FBI and federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were also at the scene about an hour and a half south of Dallas.

Joseph Jesse Aldridge Gunned Down Family Members Before Killing Himself

Video And Pics After The Jump

In what can only be described as a massacre, nine people are dead after shootings at multiple locations in Tyrone, Missouri.

The Houston Herald reports that two bodies were found at a residence after the Texas County Sheriff's Department were called at about 10:15 p.m. Thursday, February 26, by a girl, who reported gunshots in a residence. She escaped by running to a neighbor's house.

Five more fatalities and an injured person were found at three other homes in Tyrone. The injured individual was taken to a local hospital. An elderly woman was found found at another location. It is believed she died of natural causes.

The 36-year-old suspect from Tyrone was later found in a vehicle in Shannon County dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, patrol spokesman Sgt. Jeff Kinder said.

Story developing...

**UPDATE** February 28

Authorities are still trying to figure out what led a gunman, identified as 36-year-old Joseph Jesse Aldridge, to go on a murderous rampage in the small town of Tyrone, Missouri on Thursday, February 26.

In all eight people, including the gunman, were killed by gunshots. A ninth woman, Alice L. Aldridge, 74, died from natural causes.

The Houston Herald identified four of the shooting victims as Garold Dee Aldridge, 52, and Julie Ann Aldridge, 47, and Harold Wayne Aldridge, 50, and Janell Arlisa Aldridge, 48. Three other victims and a lone survivor were not named.

The killings were shocking to residents of the small town of only 50 people.

“The town is devastated,” resident Nora Shriver told the Kansas City Star. “Half of the town got killed last night.”

The doors to the homes of the victims were unlocked. Aldridge simply walked in and started shooting.

“There were no signs of forced entry, and he apparently just walked in,” Texas County Coroner Tom Whitaker told the Houston Herald. “There were three scenes where the husband and wife were both killed in the bedroom. At the fourth scene, those people were up and actually answered the door.”
Two of thecouples killed were Aldridge's cousins. Alice Aldrige was his mother. He was found inside his car after apparently killing himself.

“Since the perpetrator killed himself, we don’t feel the need to do them,” Whitaker said. “We know why they died and how they died. We are going to do an autopsy on the shooter’s mother. I feel 98-percent sure hers was a natural death, but there’s that little question because of the situation. I’ve been doing this a long time and nothing like this has happened before. But the cooperation between the departments was outstanding and this went about as well as it could have."

Bill Cosby and his lawyer, Martin Singer, may soon find themselves in court fighting a class action lawsuit by as many as ten of the women accusing him of sexual assault.

68-year old actress Louisa Moritz claims the comedian forced her to perform oral sex on him in the green room of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show in 1971.as she waited in the green room for an appearance.

According to Moritz, the incident at NBC's New York studio began with Cosby complimenting her work and hinting he could help take her career to the next level under his guidance.

"He took his hands and put them on the back of my head and forced his penis in my mouth," she told TMZ. 'Have a taste of this. It will do you good in so many ways.'"

Once Cosby was finished he allegedly said to her, "Now you don't want to upset me and the plans for your future, do you?"

TMZ reports that despite the fact that the statute of limitations are up and Moritz never told a single person about the assault, she is looking to recruit at least nine other victims to join a class action lawsuit against Cosby.

Barbara Bowman

There's no shortage of women accusing the 77-year old comedian of sexual assault.

Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis, Janice Dickinson, Carla Ferrigno, Victoria Valentino, Linda Joy Traitz, Therese Serignese, Tamara Lucier Green, Joyce Emmons, Renita Chaney Hill, Moritz and at least three others claim to have been assaulted by Cosby.

Most say they were drugged prior.

Moritz says she didn't come forward until now because she repressed memory of the assault and it only resurfaced after hearing the other women's stories. As for the lawsuit, she told TMZ that a united front among the women would be meaningful even if the case gets thrown out of court.

She's currently interviewing Los Angeles area lawyers to take the case.

I'm no lawyer and I have no way of knowing if this accusation is true, but this potential lawsuit seems shaky at best. Maybe Moritz wants to publicly shame Cosby into coughing up some hush money?

What are your thoughts?

21-year old John Luke Dale will spend the next nine months in jail after a three-judge panel denied the appeal for his sexual assault conviction.

Dale was originally sentenced in September for placing his penis on the face of a sleeping woman at a house party, then slapping her across the face with it while a friend filmed. The details are just now surfacing because of the appeal denial on Tuesday, October 21.

Judge Alistair McCreath says the sexual assault has caused the woman "obvious and significant distress."

Dale, from Milton Keynes, England, had been studying to become a lawyer at Nottingham Trent University when the incident happened. His friend showed the video to someone else, who then called the police.
