(Reuters) - Kyle Rittenhouse, a teenager arrested and charged in the shootings in Wisconsin that led to the death of two people and injury of another, faces six criminal counts, according to a court document released on Thursday.

The charges against Rittenhouse in Kenosha County include first degree intentional homicide in the death of Anthony Huber, who was carrying a skateboard when he was gunned down. A conviction on that charge alone carries a life sentence.

Rittenhouse, 17, is being held in Illinois where he lives. He has a court hearing on Friday for his requested extradition to Kenosha. The public defender assigned to his case in Lake County, Illinois has declined to comment.

The charges were detailed in a criminal complaint released by Kenosha County’s clerk of courts. The document is the first detailed disclosure of the case against Rittenhouse for his role in the violence that erupted on Tuesday night when armed militia members clashed with protesters in the city.

The protests started after Jacob Blake was shot multiple times in the back by a police officer on Sunday afternoon.

Rittenhouse was also charged with causing the death of Joseph Rosenbaum, a 36-year-old demonstrator who he shot in the parking lot of a used car dealer just before midnight on Tuesday, according to the complaint, which draws on multiple cell phone videos and witness accounts.

One video records Rittenhouse saying “I just killed somebody” after shooting Rosenbaum, the complaint says.

Rittenhouse was carrying a Smith & Wesson AR-15 style rifle and “was not handling the weapon very well,” one witness states in the complaint. “The recovered magazine for this rifle holds 30 rounds of ammunition,” the complaint says.

The complaint says one video shows Huber, with a skateboard in his right hand, approaching Rittenhouse when he was on the ground. Huber appears then to try and grab the gun from Rittenhouse with his left hand before Rittenhouse fires.

“Huber staggers away, taking several steps, then collapses to the ground. Huber subsequently died from this gunshot wound,” the complaint says.

Video After The Jump

(CNN) The chief of police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where two people were shot and killed on a night of protests after Jacob Blake's shooting, appeared to shift the blame for the shooting to those who broke the city's curfew.

During a Wednesday news conference, Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis said the shooting may not have happened if demonstrators and the accused gunman had obeyed the city's newly imposed 8 p.m. curfew.

"Everybody involved was out after the curfew," Miskinis said. "I'm not gonna make a great deal of it but the point is -- the curfew's in place to protect. Had persons not been out involved in violation of that, perhaps the situation that unfolded would not have happened."

CNN has reached out to the Kenosha Police Department for further comment.

The "situation" was a shooting that left two people dead and another seriously injured early Wednesday morning. Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old from Antioch, Illinois, has been charged in a single shooting incident. Police have not said who is responsible for committing all of the shootings, and they have not provided details on the incident Rittenhouse is charged with.

Kenosha, Wisconsin, has become the epicenter of nationwide protests against police brutality after an officer shot Blake, a 29-year-old Black man, seven times in the back at close range while three of his children watched from his car.

Blake survived the shooting, and he's being treated in a local hospital for his injuries. His father, also named Jacob Blake, told CNN that his son is paralyzed from the waist down, though he's not sure if the paralysis is permanent.

Jacob Blake's father says his son is handcuffed to his hospital bed despite being paralyzed from the waist down after suffering 7 gunshot wounds from a cop.

Blake's dad, also named Jacob, says when he visited his son in the hospital Wednesday he found him cuffed to his bed ... and immediately questioned why it was necessary.

The elder Blake says he hated seeing his son like that and pointed out ... "He can’t go anywhere. Why do you have him cuffed to the bed?"

Blake claims he also hasn't gotten an answer as to what Jacob was arrested for that would warrant him being handcuffed in the first place.

Jacob's parents got emotional Tuesday as they spoke outside the Kenosha County Courthouse about their son being shot and his condition, and the family's lawyer revealed it would be a miracle if he ever walks again.

As we've reported ... the 29-year-old father was shot 7 times at point-blank range by Kenosha, WI police officer Rusten Sheskey.

Cops say they were initially called to the scene for a domestic disturbance, and the shooting's being investigated by the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation.

So far, no word from law enforcement about Jacob's arrest or charges.

R. Kelly got a taste of jailhouse justice -- a frustrated inmate went on the attack and jumped Kelly in his cell ... TMZ has learned.

Federal law enforcement sources with direct knowledge tell us the incident recently went down inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago where Kelly was sitting on his bed when another inmate walked in his cell and started punching the crap out of Kelly.

Our sources say the inmate went on the attack because he was angry about the detention facility being placed on lock down a couple of times largely due to Kelly protesters outside the jail.

We're told the fight didn't last long, and it's unclear if another inmate or guards broke it up. Our sources say Kelly was examined by a doctor, who determined the singer was okay ... no broken bones or serious injuries.

A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau Of Prisons tells TMZ ... it cannot comment on an individual inmate's conditions of confinement or medical status due to privacy and safety reasons. We also reached out to Kelly's attorney, Steven Greenberg, for comment but he declined to discuss the incident and said Kelly's been a model inmate.

Back in 2019 when Kelly turned himself in at the Cook County Jail, the facility's 6,100 inmates had to sit tight whenever Kelly was on the move there.

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — A white, 17-year-old police admirer was arrested Wednesday after two people were shot to death during a third straight night of protests in Kenosha over the police shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake.

Kyle Rittenhouse, of Antioch, Illinois, was taken into custody in Illinois on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide. Antioch is about 15 miles from Kenosha.

Two people were killed Tuesday night and a third was wounded in an attack carried out by a young white man who was caught on cellphone video opening fire in the middle of the street with a semi-automatic rifle.

“I just killed somebody,” the gunman could be heard saying at one point during the rampage that erupted just before midnight.

In the wake of the killings, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers authorized the sending of 500 members of the National Guard to Kenosha, doubling the number of troops. The governor’s office said he is working with other states to bring in additional National Guard members and law officers. Authorities also announced a 7 p.m. curfew, an hour earlier than the night before.

“A senseless tragedy like this cannot happen again,” the governor, a Democrat, said in a statement. “I again ask those who choose to exercise their First Amendment rights please do so peacefully and safely, as so many did last night. I also ask the individuals who are not there to exercise those rights to please stay home and let local first responders, law enforcement and members of the Wisconsin National Guard do their jobs.”

The dead were identified only as 26-year-old Silver Lake, Wisconsin, resident and a 36-year-old from Kenosha. The wounded person, a 36-year-old from West Allis, Wisconsin, was expected to survive, police said.

“We were all chanting ‘Black lives matter’ at the gas station and then we heard, boom, boom, and I told my friend, `‘That’s not fireworks,’” 19-year-old protester Devin Scott told the Chicago Tribune. “And then this guy with this huge gun runs by us in the middle of the street and people are yelling, ‘He shot someone! He shot someone!’ And everyone is trying to fight the guy, chasing him and then he started shooting again.”

Louisville, Kentucky (CNN) At least 68 people were arrested in Louisville, Kentucky, as crowds marched Tuesday over the death of Breonna Taylor, police said.

The protests were largely peaceful but a large group of demonstrators "crossed several intersections, creating dangerous situations as traffic continued to try to make its way in the area," Robert Schroeder, interim chief for the Louisville Metro Police Department, told reporters.

Officers gave directions to stay on the sidewalk and those who did not were eventually arrested, Schroeder said. Those arrested will be charged with obstructing the roadway and disorderly conduct, he added.

Tuesday's protests were expected to be one of the largest demonstrations in the city since Taylor's death. The EMT and aspiring nurse was killed in her own home in March when three plainclothes police officers executing a "no-knock" warrant returned gunfire after her boyfriend fired a warning shot because he thought he was shooting at intruders.

Taylor's mother, Tamika Palmer, told CNN this week that she doesn't understand why the investigation into her daughter's cases remains pending after months.

"A lot of times you want to give up, you want to walk away but I know she deserves justice," Palmer told CNN.

Numerous protesters traveled from Florida, Michigan and New York to join this week's demonstrations. Many say it's time for the officers involved in Taylor's death to be charged.

Matthew Sutton Announces New Song And Visual

The Los Angeles, California soul recording artist is set to release his newest project in August. Everyone has that ONE song that has helped them get past a hard time in their life. Matthew Sutton's new song is guaranteed to one of those songs. His new track entitled, "Keep Yah Head Up" is a breath of fresh air and full of motivating lyrics that finds him breathing life into every single bar. The chorus alone is beyond inspiring as Sutton sings, "just keep your head up, it's okay, when times get hard, just have faith / move forward, stay in your lane / and never give up, keep pushing everyday /" The beat - produced by PK Beats - is backed by a beautiful piano and a bass line so funky that George Clinton would be impressed as Sutton's smooth & silky voice matched the vibe, perfectly. As if the song itself wasn't enough, the music video definitely caps it off. Directed by J Hyde, the visual is set behind a stunning back drop of a California beach surrounded by glorious mountains. The beautiful video footage matches the energy of "Keep Yah Head Up" as the imagery is magnificent and refreshing. Both the audio and visual for "Keep Yah Head Up" are scheduled for an August 21st release.  Keep Yah Head Up Visual Streaming Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7l1y5Ak4IIMatthew Sutton social media:Instagram: @itsmatthewsuttonTwitter: @immatthewsuttonSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2qJ3pq7z7PVEiRfLY8KoXiYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTKYs3df_NMyk0xuSz2VuoA
