12348871694?profile=originalDonald Trump announced today that he wouldn't be seeking the Republican nomination for President in 2012.

He released a statement that said:

"After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency. This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector."

Trump had been very critical of President Obama in the last several months. At one point leading the charge of the "birthers" who don't believe Obama was born in the United States despite him showing previous proof.

Trump took credit last month when Obama produced a long form birth certificate. But that seemed to kill his criticism of the President. It didn't help that he was made to look foolish at the most recent White House Correspondents' Dinner when the President roasted him for several minutes.

Let's face it, this could have all been a huge publicity stunt for Trump, who isn't afraid to be a media wh*re when he's promoting something, like his television show 'Celebrity Apprentice.'

NBC had already announced it would replace Trump on the show if he were to run for the oval office.

402862030?profile=originalWe may have learned of at least one producer on 50 Cent's upcoming album.

Soulja Boy told Rap-Up he's given the G-Unit General five joints for the not yet titled disc.

We were in California [last month] and 50 played his whole album, what he got so far,” Soulja said. “He was asking me for some beats, so I played some beats, gave him some beats. He’s got some tight beats from me too. I left him like five beats in California and he’s been recording on them.”

The two last collaborated on the track "Mean Mug" off of Soulja's latest cd 'The DeAndre Way,' but that track was produced by Drumma Boy. So this would mark the first time 50 would be using Soulja's production, if any of the songs make the album.

50 tweeted last week that the album was near completion and will be "2011's 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin.'"

Beyonce is out to prove that she has no intention of relinquishing her grip on the title as the current Queen of Pop.

Of course Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna might argue that point, but there is no doubt that Jay-Z's better half put in major work on her new album, titled '4.'

B explained the significance of the the number to MTV UK.

"It's the day I was born. My mother's birthday, and a lot of my friends' birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date," she said

According to The Sun, B turned in a whopping 72 finished tracks for the album. Leaving the label the though task of having to find the best 14.

"Label staff leave Beyonce to get on with things, they tend not to interfere when she's making an album," a source said. "But they weren't prepared for the sheer volume of material she presented to them. She's clearly been very productive. Now they have the hard job of going through all the music and deciding what will make it."

The new disc is expected sometime this year.

The relationship between Rihanna and Chris Brown has had so many twists and turns it's impossible to tell whether or not he two stars will ever actually hook up again. But fans being fans, it doesn't take much to get the rumor mill going.

Rihanna started following Chis on Twitter on Friday (May 13), Breezy soon followed back.

It didn't take long for a Rihanna fan to react.

@iStan4Rihanna_ wrote "I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, its your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls,"

To which Rihanna replied, "its f*ckin twitter, not the alter! calm down."

This latest sign of possible friendship comes just months after Riri lifted the restraining order against Brown that had been in place since he physically assaulted her in February 2009.

What do you guys think ? Is Rihanna trying to rekindle an old flame or just trying to be civil?

12348870271?profile=originalBarry Reese, better known as rapper Cassidy has been arrested for probation violation. He is also a suspect in a murder and two attempted murders in Philadelphia according to NorthJersey.com

The arrest took place Saturday (May 14) in Hackensack, New Jersey after police there were tipped off by Philadelphia authorities that Reese had outstanding warrants.

Philly police had warned their New Jersey counterparts that they should consider Cassidy "armed and dangerous,” and that this was a “high-risk warrant." Reese was arrested without incident after leaving a local convenience store.

This isn't Reese's first run-in with the law. In 2006 he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in a Philly shooting case, and he was sentenced to 11 and a half to 23 months in jail.

Video After The Jump

The controversy over Common's appearance at the White House Poetry Night is still smoldering.

Fox News' host, Bill O'Reilly - a very vocal critic of Michelle Obama's invitation to the rapper will debate Jon Stewart about Common, Monday May 16 at 8pm Eastern.

O'Reilly claims he wasn't protesting against Common's lyrics, but rather his support of two people who allegedly killed cops, including Assata Shakur.

Stewart has been poking fun at Republicans for their over the top cries that Common was a "vile" rapper. 'The Daily Show' host even put together a rap song clowning the right for being so uptight.

Their debate should be interesting to say the least.

I rarely pay attention to day time talk shows, but a recent episode on the Steve Wilkos show caught my attention.

An 18-year old and her father were on the show discussing among other things their sexual relationship, and not wanting to have kids because the baby would come out deformed.

Isn't incest illegal? Shouldn't somebody step in to stop this madness?

Watch the episode below, if you can stomach it and weigh in with your opinions.

Father and daughter discuss their sexual relationship.

Daughter suspects she's pregnant with her dad's baby

Video After The Jump

Soulja Boy must be feeling pretty excited these days about his acting career.

The 20-year old just wrapped production on the remake of the 1992 classic 'Juice', in which he plays the role of Bishop - made famous by Tupac Shakur. And now he's possibly in the running to play 'Pac in a upcoming biopic.

In a recent interview with MTV's Rapfix, Soulja revealed that he has been asked to audition for the role based on the late rapper's life.

"I got an email from William Morris Agency - that's my agency that I'm with - they reached out to me to play the part. I'm just still thinking about it right now," he said.

When it was initially announced SB would be playing the role of Bishop in the 'Juice' 2011, the rapper caught flack from some corners for even attempting to remake the movie. That pressure and scrutiny would be increased dramatically if he decides to play Tupac himself. It's a tough decision - one that SB is still weighing.

"Even with the whole 'Juice' movie, I'm playing a part that Tupac played, but I'm not actually playin' 'Pac. When it comes to this, I'm actually gonna be playin' 'Pac, so I'm really still just thinkin' about it. But I'm just honored that they would reach out to me and ask me anyway." Soulja said.

Producer David Robinson says it's going to take a special person to play the part. Adding that they are "looking for someone with the right mix of raw charm and charisma for the role."

"At this point, we’re more concerned about finding someone with the ability to give their entire heart into the performance than just looks and personality." Robinson continued.

The Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) directed - Morgan Creek backed Tupac biopic starts production later this year.

Soulja Boy's 'Juice' remake will debut this winter.
