Video After The Jump

A man in Texas screamed for his father during a violent arrest that went down on his parents' front door ... and it was all recorded on their doorbell security camera.

The video starts with the driver, Zekee Rayford, pulling into a driveway. You can hear cops telling him to get down on the ground, but he runs to the front door. Officers gave chase, and Rayford started yelling for his dad before cops took him down by kneeing him and tasing him.

The arrest went down late Monday night in Schertz, a San Antonio suburb, and cops tell TMZ ... they attempted to stop Rayford for running a traffic light. Instead, they say he kept driving until he got to the home owned by his parents.

Schertz PD claim Rayford fled when they tried to apprehend him, and as we see in the video ... that's when the struggle began, and the Taser was deployed. Cops did not mention any other use of force, although you can clearly see them tussling and kneeing Rayford. In the video, you also hear one of the officers threaten to tase the man who eventually opened the front door and questioned cops' use of force.

We're told Rayford was charged with felony evading in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana. Schertz PD says it's launched an internal investigation to ensure policies and procedures were followed.

Civil rights lawyer Ben Crump -- who reps Breonna Taylor's family -- weighed in on the video, saying, Zekee "was allegedly being pulled over nearby but drove home to have his dad present ... EXTREME force was NOT necessary. We need police reform."

(CNN) NBA superstar LeBron James is seeking answers following the shooting death of 37-year-old Ericka Weems, the sister of James' childhood friend, Brandon Weems, a spokesperson for James, Stephanie Rosa, told CNN.

The Lakers star tweeted Wednesday, "AKRON OHIO!! My brother's sister was murdered this past weekend in her home! My brother family need answers to why and by whom. My city I need y'all to go to work and find out who did this awful, shameful, disgusting thing to such a caring, loving angel! #Justice4EricaWeems"

The Akron Police Department incident report lists the spelling of Ms. Weems' first name as Ericka.

Police found Ericka Weems unresponsive in her bedroom after entering her home Monday afternoon.

In an email to CNN, Police Lt. Michael A. Miller said the medical examiner said she died from gunshot wounds. The police report said she was shot between October 31 and November 2.

"The investigation is still in its early stages. No suspects have been identified or arrested as of yet, but investigators remain optimistic," Miller said.

Brandon Weems, the director of scouting for the Cleveland Cavaliers, told CNN affiliate WEWS that his sister ran a day care at her residence.

"She had a passion and love for children," Brandon Weems said. "She could get kids to say and do things that even their parents couldn't do."

In a statement, Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman said the organization is "terribly saddened" about the death of Weems' sister.

"Our hearts are heavy and filled with pain over this senseless act," Altman said, offering condolences. "We will be with Brandon throughout this extremely difficult time and will offer our assistance and resources to help find justice for Ericka."

The guy who helped kidnap Tekashi 6ix9ine -- one of his then-fellow gang members in the Nine Trey Bloods -- just got the book thrown at him for that crime.

Anthony "Harv" Ellison was sentenced Wednesday in a federal court in NYC, where the judge gave him 24 years in prison for the racketeering, kidnapping, and assault charges for which he was convicted last October.

In addition to his time behind bars, Ellison was also sentenced to five years of supervised release. His sentence comes more than a full year after his trial -- where Tekashi infamously snitched ... taking the stand and identifying Ellison as his kidnapper.

The kidnapping was just the tip of the iceberg though -- federal prosecutors successfully nailed Ellison, with Tekahshi's help, for various other crimes connected to the Nine Treys.

You'll recall ... Tekashi was initially tight with Ellison, until their relationship soured -- after which, Ellison planned out the kidnapping scheme to get revenge ... according to T69's testimony anyway. Tekashi was abducted, taken for a ride around town, pistol-whipped and extorted for money -- some of which was captured on camera and played for the jury at trial.

Tekashi's then-GF was actually seen on camera handing over a bag of goods in exchange for Tekashi's safe return. That, coupled with Tekashi's snitching, helped seal Ellison's fate.

It's one of the last pieces of fallout from Tekashi's infamous turn on his old pals. As you might recall -- Tekashi himself was released from prison somewhat early and allowed to finish out his time at home, with an ankle monitor.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump says he’ll take the presidential election to the Supreme Court, but it’s unclear what he means in a country in which vote tabulations routinely continue beyond Election Day, and states largely set the rules for when the count has to end.

“We’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court — we want all voting to stop,” Trump said early Wednesday.

But the voting is over. It’s only counting that is taking place across the nation. No state will count absentee votes that are postmarked after Election Day.

Democratic challenger Joe Biden’s campaign called Trump’s statement “outrageous, unprecedented, and incorrect.”

“If the president makes good on his threat to go to court to try to prevent the proper tabulation of votes, we have legal teams standing by ready to deploy to resist that effort,” Biden Campaign Manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement. “And they will prevail.”

Election law expert Richard Hasen wrote in Slate on Sunday that “there has never been any basis to claim that a ballot arriving on time cannot be counted if officials cannot finish their count on election night.”

Ohio State University election law professor Edward Foley wrote on Twitter Wednesday: “The valid votes will be counted. SCOTUS would be involved only if there were votes of questionable validity that would make a difference, which might not be the case. The rule of law will determine the official winner of the popular vote in each state. Let the rule of law work.”

In any event, there’s no way to go directly to the high court with a claim of fraud. Trump and his campaign could allege problems with the way votes are counted in individual states, but they would have to start their legal fight in a state or lower federal court.

There is a pending Republican appeal at the Supreme Court over whether Pennsylvania can count votes that arrive in the mail from Wednesday to Friday, an extension ordered by the state’s top court over the objection of Republicans. That case does not involve ballots already cast and in the possession of election officials, even if they are yet to be counted.

The high court refused before the election to rule out those ballots, but conservative justices indicated they could revisit the issue after the election. The Supreme Court also refused to block an extension for the receipt and counting of absentee ballots in North Carolina beyond the three days set by state law.

Even a small number of contested votes could matter if either state determines the winner of the election and the gap between Trump and Biden is so small that a few thousand votes, or even a few hundred, could make the difference.

Video After The Jump

A chilling video circulating online shows the moment a terrified schoolgirl was rescued by a fearless witness.

The woman had witnessed the man snatch the girl in broad daylight on her way to school, and immediately rushed to her rescue.

The incredible video, shared by the rescuer's sister, shows the woman filming with her cellphone as she makes her way along London's rain-soaked streets towards a dark alley.

There she sees two figures — a man and a little girl — and roars "Let her go! What are you doing with her?"

"This is my sister, bruv, move," he calls back. "Bruv, this is my family."

He begins to walk away and the girl obediently goes with him, appearing to any other onlooker like they are siblings; but the woman knows what she saw, and presses after him.

"So what are you doing in the corner with her?" she asks, staying on his tail, and calling out to the girl: "Are you okay?"

The girl, being marched along by the man who has his arm around her shoulder, never makes a sound, but still the woman persists, finally catching up with them.

"Look, why are you f--kin stalking us bruv?" he says, again appearing like an irritated big brother — until he finally drops the charade and flees.

The seriousness of the situation immediately spills out as the terrified girl bursts into tears, barely decipherable as she desperately clutches her rescuer.

"I don't know him I told him to stop I'm really scared I'm really scared!" she sobs. "I was trying to go to school thank you thank you thank you!"

The viral video was shared by the hero's sister, who warned anyone with young daughters and sisters to be extra vigilant in the dark winter mornings.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

Kadian Nelson was taken into custody after police urged him to hand himself in — for his own safety.

Vigilante groups had begun scouring the area looking for the suspect, prompting the Metropolitan Police to plead with the public not to take matters into their own hands.

Video After The Jump

A monthlong mission in Ohio recently turned up 45 missing children and led to 179 arrests, authorities said.

In an operation dubbed Autumn Hope, the US Marshals Service in Ohio and Virginia tracked the children, including a “high-risk” 15-year-old girl from Cleveland who was linked to suspected human trafficking, authorities said Monday.

Twenty other children were also located as authorities checked on their well-being.

During one of the missing children recoveries, a loaded gun was recovered. A 15-year-old boy had two warrants and is suspected in multiple shootings and a murder, authorities said.

Two other juveniles were found in West Virginia during a traffic stop, leading to the arrest of an adult male who was charged with concealment/removal of a minor child in Jackson County.

Autumn Hope was conducted by the marshals in conjunction with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, as well as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and state and local agencies in Ohio.

“My thanks to all personnel who have stepped up for this operation,” said Peter C. Tobin, US Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio. “These are the same personnel who hunt down violent fugitives every day. I’m incredibly proud of them and pleased that they were able to apply those same skills to finding missing children. I know Operation Autumn Hope has made a difference in a lot of young lives.”

The US Marshals have conducted similar operations before, including in Ohio.

Last month, they said 35 missing children, between the ages of 13 and 18 from the Cuyahoga County area, were located during Operation Safety Net. Just over 20 percent of the found cases were tied to human trafficking.

That same month, the marshals also announced the arrest of 262 suspects, including 141 gang members, and the recovery of five missing children in Oklahoma.

Thirty-nine children were found in Georgia during Operation Not Forgotten in August and eight missing kids were recovered in Indiana in September as part of Operation Homecoming.

The marshals have found missing children in 75 percent of cases the agency has received — and 72 percent of those cases were recovered within a week, officials said.

Since 2005, the agency has recovered more than 2,000 missing kids.

DaBaby's brother has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound ... according to sources with direct knowledge of the tragedy.

TMZ's learned the rapper's older brother, Glenn Johnson, took his own life Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina. Glenn had posted a video of himself earlier in the day in a car with a gun, and he was visibly upset and crying.

We're told Johnson is survived by 3 daughters and a son.

DaBaby just broke his silence on the passing of his brother, posting lyrics from his song "Intro" which gave fans a peek into his brother's struggles, "My brother be thinkin' that we don't love him and let him struggle like we ain't family. Like I won't give up all I got to see you, n****."
