Stephen A. Smith isn’t seeing Houston Rockets guard James Harden as a better player than past seasons, but he doing more since Chris Paul’s injury and Trevor Ariza no longer with the team. Max Kellerman disagrees and sees Harden as a different player this season because he knows that with his past struggles in the playoffs, he has to win an NBA championship.
HOUSTON (KTRK) --Investigators are trying to figure out why someone would shoot a man in the back of the head at a southwest Houston gas station overnight.
Police say the man who pulled the trigger killed local rapper Christopher Barriere.
Barriere, known as Mr. 3-2, was a member of Houston's Screwed Up Click. While signed to Rap-A-Lot Records he was involved with three groups: The Convicts, Southside Playaz and Blac Monks, and released one solo album. He has collaborated on tracks with Snoop Dogg, UGK, Scarface, 8 Ball & MJG, South Park Mexican & Too $hort.
According to investigators, the suspect drove away then came back and shot another victim in the face.
Houston police say there were four men at the gas station Thursday night, and that the men all know each other.
Police say two of the men went inside the store and one of the men outside pulled out a pistol and shot the first victim in the back of the head.
The suspect then drove away but came back.
According to investigators, he had a shotgun and fired it at the second victim, hitting him in the face and other people who were simply at the gas station at the wrong time.
"Unfortunately the shot gun blast, not all the pellets hit its intended target and continued past and struck multiple other targets including another witness who was shot in the leg," HPD Sgt. Michael Arrington said.
The suspect drove away in a white or grey four-door car.
Police are looking at surveillance video and hope that will help them find the suspect.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Metro Transit Police say 19-year-old William Jackson, of Washington, D.C., wearing a bus operator's uniform, walked into the bus storage area on Bladensburg Road, and drove away with bus number 9318.
Investigators believe the youth began running the B-2 route toward Anacostia, and stopped for passengers. The accused thief is apparently cooperating with investigators. "According to Mr. Jackson, all eight passengers that he picked up did pay their fare," Transit Police Captain Ronald Pavlik explained to reporters. "He simply had a fascination with buses."
The bus Jackson was driving hit some large tree limbs at the corner of 17th and Massachusetts Ave., SE. The bus kept going after the violent encounter with the tree, and that caused some witnesses to call 911. Jackson parked the bus a few blocks away, near the Potomac Avenue Metro station, and walked away. He was apprehended about a block away, wearing a bus operator's uniform and a high visibility safety vest, which are now standard issue for bus drivers.
It is unclear where the teen got the uniform. Police are also investigating how he managed to get into the bus yard where security officers are supposed to require everyone to produce a Metro ID badge.
No one was apparently injured in the adventure, although the passengers on the bus had left by the time Transit Police found the vehicle.
Jackson is charged with fleeing the scene of an accident and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
There are two gates at the Bladensburg Road bus yard. For about 15 minutes Saturday, one day after the bus theft, the side entrance was left unattended for at least 15 minutes. A Fox Five reporter walked unchallenged into the entrance.
Metro Transit Police Captain Pavlik says that's "embarrassing" and will become part of the investigation of security at bus storage facilities.
