Videos After The Jump George Lopez had a blast with guest Nicki Minaj yesterday. The Lopez Tonight host got his man boobs signed by the Young Money starlet, which seemed to make his night. Nicki also breaks down all of her alter egos. # 1 is Nicki, # 2 is Roman, a mean gay boy who says all of the things Nicki can't. # 3 is Martha who is Roman's mother. And just got George, Nicki created a new alter ego named Rosa. The two talked about the magical powers Nicki's butt possesses. Apparently her a** is so irresistible people can't stop themselves from touching it. As witnessed recently by Rihanna and Regis Philbin grabbing a handful of it. To stop anymore unwanted a*ss groping George gave Nicki a Butt protector, lol. Nicki then performed "Moment For Life" off of her new 'Pink Friday' album. Videos After The Jump Who says you can't go home again? Nicki Minaj returned to her native homeland of Trinidad Saturday October 30. Minaj handed out t-shirts to the kids, plus sang and rapped her way through some of her biggest songs and guest appearances. During the 30 minute set at Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port-of-Spain, the Harajuku Barbie performed "Itty Bitty Piggy", "Roger That", "My Chick Bad", "Right Through Me", "Monster" and more. In one segment she played trivia with the crowd, asking them where she moved to after leaving Trinidad at age five. They knew she moved to America, but most weren't sure of the state. According to the Trinidad & Tobago news website, Nicki told the kids to "stay in school and get your own." She promised to return after her 'Pink Friday' album is released. Video After The Jump I'm really digging the trend of rappers using bands in concert and live television appearances. It shows the progression of hip hop, from when performances were strictly two turntables and a mic. While I see nothing wrong with the latter, I do think live bands will become more the norm, and will free the dj up to do more cutting and scratching. All that leads up to is me saying Drake was exceptional on Late Show With David Letterman last night (October 1). Where he performed "Show Me A Good Time" from his debut album 'Thank Me Later.' How do you guys feel about live bands vs just the mc and his dj? twitter-5d.gif

Toronto rapper Drake has a vast knowledge of music stored in his brain. His tastes range from hip hop to rock and r&b. So it should come as no surprise that his own music is not confined to one genre. On his debut album, 'Thank Me Later', Drizzy easily moved from spitting raps to singing entire r&b flavored joints throughout the album. In recent weeks, Drake revealed his love for fallen pop angel Aaliyah, who died at age 22 in a plane crash. Penning an open letter to her on his website. "My love for her goes beyond anything. Maybe it's corny of me to like a girl's music so much. I wish I had the chance to meet her. I would've tried to marry her," Drake tells Rolling Stone in their upcoming issue. He also talked to RS about his admiration for guitar legend, Jimi Hendrix, who also died young, age 27. "We just left Seattle, where I played the Bumbershoot festival and visited Jimi Hendrix's memorial, I'm a huge fan," he explains. "I play the DVD of Hendrix at Woodstock to pump me up before I perform. Watching him go out there at 10 in the morning in shitty weather and conquer the crowd always gives me a little more adrenaline. I just left a little letter for Jimi at his grave," Drake says. "It wasn't a real letter. I just wrote him a message on a pack of Zig-Zags. It said, "Still inspired." That's what's up, now we'll have to wait and see if Drake drops another album this year as Mack Maine hinted to MTV a month ago. twitter-5d.gif

Nicki Minaj has been the subject of a lot of rumors in her short career. Has she had plastic surgery? Did she date Lil Wayne? Is she really bi-sexual? Is Diddy her manager and are the two of them involved romantically? While she didn't clear up all speculation, the Young Money femcee did set the record straight on a couple of those topics. In a recent interview with CNN, Nicki was asked about those Diddy rumors. "You know how you look at your older brother? That's how I look at Diddy. When people say that, it makes me gag. He's my friend, and he's sweet and he's a great guy, but I could never see him that way," she said. The article states that for the record, Diddy is not her manager. Nicki also had a something to say about people that constantly put down her abilities as a rapper. "The people that are inclined to hate are also inclined to be losers. A loser could never congratulate a winner - it's not in them" she says. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive Chris Brown is in the #1 film in the country, "Takers," and now that he's done with Hollywood (for now), he's going back to the lab. "Me, I'm definitely writing on other people's projects. A lot of in-house stuff," Brown said recently in L.A. "I got a lot of artists coming out. The single 'Deuces' features one of my artists K-Mac and Tyga [from Young Money]. I'm pushing forward. The movie's out, so I'mma have fun." "Deuces" is in the top 30 of Billboard's Hot 100 charts and #1 on urban radio. The record's success is simply due to fan support. It's part of Brown and Tyga's Fan of a Fan mixtape and skyrocketed once the video hit virally and on MTV Jams. "That was actually Chris' idea," Tyga told us about putting out a visual for the song. "I thought the record was dope. I thought it was dope for us to do that video. He got to explain his situation. It connects to his fans. His fans miss that from him. "I think the people chose the record," Tyga added. "We put the mixtape out, and we asked them: What record do you like the most? They was like, 'Deuces.' It was always coming up. It was growing on YouTube as well, like 100,000 views a day on YouTube. It was his idea to shoot the video. My homie Colin Tilly, he's done all my videos. He's done everything. All my mixtape stuff to the bigger stuff I'm doing now. He got it right. It's what people wanna see, what they wanna hear." Despite the overwhelming success of Fan of a Fan, Tyga said he and Chris aren't planning an official LP, but they are hitting the road together. "I don't think you wanna drown people too much," Tyga said about making a full album with Brown. "We've been doing a lot of stuff, though. He's on my album. We're actually working on a tour right now. A Fan of Fan Tour at the end of the year. It'll be dope." Tyga has an album coming out soon; it doesn't have a release date yet. But his next mixtape, Well Done, will hit within the next couple of weeks. It's going to be a Gangsta Grillz edition. "I feel like I had to deal with [DJ] Drama. He reminded of Wayne, when he did Dedication with him," Tyga explained. "[Wayne] was going in on every beat. All the mixtapes I've been dropping, they're close to albums. They're more songs. They have more content. This one, I wanted to rap on everybody's beat and murder every beat that's out. It's fun to do that. It's easy. I can knock that out real fast. I think Drama is dope when you wanna link up and murder beats like that." Some of the tracks Tyga is pilfering are Soulja Boy's "Pretty Boy Swag" and Nicki Minaj's "Your Love." Source: MTV

When it comes to Jay-Z and Lil Wayne, there is no comparison if you ask Birdman. In a story reported by HipHopWired, the Cash Money CEO says Jay-Z takes a back seat to his "son" as both a rapper and in earning money. "I don't think he [Jay-Z] a number one emcee in no kinda way. Wayne the best he do the most and he make the most money," he said. Forbes recently ranked Jay-Z as hip hop's top earner with $63 million made, with Lil Wayne ranked fourth with an earned income of $20 million, Birdman disputes their figures. "I don't think no n*gga in the business make more money than us. How could you be the best if you don't make the best money, the most money and you don't do the most. Lyrically, come on man be for real man can't nobody f*ck with Wayne. And to me, if you number one and you ain't getting no money it don't mean nothing. Who's making the most money. That's number one to me. F*ck all that rap sh*t. Sh*t, y'all got cold rappers you never even heard and then you got n*ggas who really can't rap and making money. It's about who's making the most money to me. I don't give a f*ck about the rest of that sh*t." Still, after jabbing Jay-Z pretty hard, Baby wanted to make it known that there was no beef with Hov “No, no, [beef]. Nothing personal, they just asked me my opinion and that was my opinion. I think we do the most and make the most, so if you don't like it, that's on you. I can't see past Wayne, so I can't see Jay-Z." I don't know, that kind of sounded like steak to me.

Young Money femcee, Nicki Minaj shows no signs of letting go of her grip on the best female rapper in the game title. At the very least, she is the most popular and continues to make all the right career moves.

Her latest single, "Your Love" holds the #14 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart and she was just nominated for an MTV Video Music Award in the Best New Artist category.

"I feel like I've died and gone to heaven," Minaj told MTV of the VMA nomination. "I definitely thought I'd get one someday, but not before I put the album out. I never thought I'd get a nomination [this year]. ... I didn't even think I'd get invited!"

Expect more new music from Nicki very soon. She recently told Billboard that she is putting the finishing touches on her next single. "I think you guys are going to be really happy with it," she said.

Nicki's debut album, 'Pink Friday' is due out November 23.
