Video After The Jump Zoo Life General 40 Glocc has sat back, played his position, staying loyal to 50 Cent and G-Unit while others haven't. In this interview with Street Treats HD he offers a very unique perspective on the whole Young Buck situation. From where 40 was sitting Buck started getting out of pocket way before 50 kicked him out of G-Unit. Buck even went as far as calling 40 to see if he could get him to be disloyal, but Glocc wasn't having it. Ultimately, being from the west coast and having a gang mentality 40 feels Young Buck should have been disciplined (DP'd) and that might have set him straight.

Maybe the inmates really are running the asylum. A correction officer has been disciplined for dozing on the job after a colleague snapped a picture of her asleep while on post at a Rikers Island infirmary, officials said yesterday. A clearly conked-out Nadja Green is leaning in a chair with her head back, arms folded, eyes closed and mouth open. But even more alarming is an amused inmate seen hovering above her, mere inches from a set of keys that hangs from her belt. The picture was circulated around the department, and a source e-mailed it to The Post. Green was transferred on the island and placed on modified duty watching female inmates. She will face charges of sleeping on the job and other security- and performance-related charges. "We do not expect this type of behavior or performance from our officers, nor do we tolerate it," said city correction spokesman Steve Morello. The officer who took the picture, Claudel Barrau, was also transferred and placed on modified duty. Morello said possession and use of cellphones in jails, even by guards, is prohibited. "They are only allowed to carry a cell into a property locker and not into jail proper," Morello said. "And not where inmates circulate. It's a basic and obvious regulation and this represents a breach." Officials said the embarrassing photo was taken earlier this month in the prison's North Infirmary Command, formerly Rikers Island Hospital, which houses nearly 400 sick prisoners. The facility includes a wing for AIDS patients, one for sex offenders and one for exceptionally violent inmates. The disciplined officers will not be supervising inmates, according to officials. Morello said the picture was brought to the attention of the department's senior management. He said officials do not believe the sleeping officer was ever in any danger. There will be no charges against the inmate in the picture. Green, who turned 30 yesterday, has been on the job 4½ years. She lives in Queens and could not be reached for comment. Barrau, 47, has been on the job 18 years. When approached by a Post photographer at his Long Island home, he asked, "Why are you taking my picture?" A prison source described Green as "the Precious of Corrections," a reference to the movie about a teen from a dysfunctional family. A source said Green had a difficult upbringing and is the mother of several children. The source said she worked 96 hours of overtime this month. A union official said prison authorities should avoid a rush to judgment. "Many correction officers are forced to work 70 to 80 hours of mandatory overtime," said Correction Officer Benevolent Association spokesman Michael Skelly. "Since we don't know the particular circumstances of that particular officer, we are not going to condemn her. She may have been sick. "We believe it was highly suspect for the other officer to take a picture and potentially jeopardize her safety." New York Post Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Tupac Shakur once rapped "Life as a celebrity aint everything they make it". Well nobody bothered to tell R&B crooner John Legend that as he celebrated his 31st birthday Monday night (December 28). With his beautiful model girlfriend Christine Teigen on one arm. John partied at New York City's Simyone Lounge with fellow stars Estelle, Ludacris, Ryan Leslie and Consequence. The Good Music artist was taking a brief break from his Evolver World Tour which runs through early 2010.

Music: Tops And Flops Of 2009

Hot Susan Boyle Boyle, a worldwide YouTube phenomenon, brought a whole new concept to modern celebrity: dowdy chic. With her unglamorous appearance contradicting her rapturous voice, Boyle reminded us of the power of inner beauty, and in the process managed to, at least for a while, outsell every shapely young thing on the planet. Boyle's debut racked up the biggest opening sales figure of the year: over 700,000 units, most of them on (gasp!) physical CD.

Maxwell After nearly a decade in hiding, the Brooklyn-born R&B singer made the kind of point-perfect comeback that instantly compensated for all the time away. His album "BLACKsummers'night" went platinum, earning some of the most enraptured reviews of the year, bagging no fewer than six Grammy nominations in their wake.

Kings of Leon They're the first new rock band to break through in far too long. In '09, this brash Nashville foursome enjoyed iTunes' most downloaded album, "Only by the Night." The band also racked up a slew of Grammy nominations for their song "Use Somebody," ensuring they'll become only hotter in 2010.

Taylor Swift Not only did this Nashville star (who just turned 20) have the top-selling album of '09 (with a tally topping 4 million copies), she became a combination saint/victim when Kanye West tried to ruin her moment of triumph at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. To certify her resurrection, two months later, at the American Music Awards, Swift even beat the sanctified Michael Jackson for the top prize: Artist of the Year.

Not U2 They may have enjoyed the year's most attended tour. But U2's latest CD, "No Line on the Horizon," bombed with fans and became the worst-selling disk of their career.

J.Lo Yes, she fell on her world-famous rump on the American Music Awards, but she quickly bounced back (literally, it seems) to survive one of pop's goofier, and most blabbed about, public gaffes.

Kanye West Already a famously bad sport, Kanye crossed the line to genuine jerk-face in the fall when he grabbed the limelight from Taylor Swift during her MTV acceptance speech and insisted that Beyoncé's clip should have won instead. After that, even the impeccably measured President Obama hauled off and called Kanye a "jackass."

Whitney Houston While the troubled singer's comeback CD has sold strongly (800,000 copies and counting), her interview on Oprah left a bad taste in the mouth, and her intended comeback appearance on "Good Morning America" live from Central Park! found her in scratchy and damaged voice, barely able to croak through four short numbers.

Chris Brown The young R&B stud achieved genuine pariah status this year by perpetrating the ultimate no-no viciously beating his girlfriend Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party. Brown spent the rest of the year apologizing, but the damage had been done.

Rap giant Eminem is heading over to jolly old England to headline a concert that also features singer Pink on the bill. That's not the biggest news however. For the first time I can remember Slim Shady has agreed to censor his lyrics to appease gay rights groups that might protest the show. According to AllHipHop, Eminem agreed to perform at the 2010 Wireless Festival after he and the show's promoters agreed to terms on this issue. Activist group OutRage! has been successful in boycotting artists like Buju Banton and Beenie Man in the past. Em wanted to avoid any confrontation with them or similar gay rights groups while visiting the UK. The show will take place at London's Hyde Park in July of 2010. Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Video After The Jump Lil Wayne must be going through an emotional roller coaster as 2009 draws to a close. Being one of the most successful rappers out right now and head of Young Money Records. Which features two artists in Drake and Nicki Minaj that are as white hot as two rookie emcees could possibly could be are things i'm sure he's quite proud of. However, the rapper born Dwayne Carter has seen his good fortune stall a bit recently as run-ins with the law have caught up with him. In February, Wayne will be sentenced to a year in jail for a gun charge in New York. He is also facing drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona. On top of that, his new rock LP 'Rebirth' has leaked months early and the reviews for the record have been lukewarm at best. None of that mattered last night though (Monday December 28). As the New Orleans native kicked off his 'Farewell For Now' Tour in his hometown. Opening the show with his smash hit "A Milli", Weezy told the crowd "I'm nothing without you" "I hope Lil Wayne will follow in T.I.'s footsteps," said 32-year-old Jed Wright, who brought his 11-year-old stepson to the show as a Christmas present. "T.I. promised to turn his life around. Lil Wayne can do the same thing." Video After The Jump 2009 has been a wild year for Hip Hop. We've seen plenty of beefs, a rapper embarrass himself at the MTV Music Awards and the rise of hipster/emo rap. 50 Cent recently sat down with DJ Semtex to talk about the highs and lows of 2009. One topic was his beefs with Fat Joe, The Game & Ja Rule. He also speaks on the Beanie Sigel/Jay-Z situation. The most intriguing part of the interview however, comes towards the end. When 50 speaks very candidly about his feelings towards Interscope Records and why he feels no loyalty towards the label.

Singer Amy Winehouse has been charged with assault after allegedly attacking a theatre manager at a pantomime. Ms Winehouse was in the audience for Cinderella at Milton Keynes Theatre on Saturday, watching an all-star cast including Mickey Rooney, Anthea Turner and Bobby Davro. But she was reported to have entered the pantomime spirit a little too enthusiastically, repeatedly shouting out "He's f***ing behind you!" during the performance. The Sun newspaper said that she also branded the Ugly Sisters "bitches". Thames Valley police launched an investigation after the front-of-house manager, Richard Pound, complained that the Back to Black star had pulled his hair, punched him and kicked him when he asked her to move seats. They confirmed today that Ms Winehouse was arrested after she attended Milton Keynes police station in Buckinghamshire voluntarily with her legal adviser at 1.15pm. The 26-year-old, from Hertfordshire, was charged under the name Amy Civil with a public order offence and common assault following the incident on Saturday night. Kanye West surprised everyone by showing up to bless the mic at Kid Cudi's recent Los Angeles show. Mr West has been off soul searching ever since the Taylor Swift VMA disaster, but he showed the Nokia Theater crowd he's back better than ever. The Louis Vuitton Don spit a hot freestyle before ripping through his new joint "I'm So Appalled". He even brought out his baby girl Amber Rose for a few. I'm not sure why, but hey who cares she's a dime. I'm assuming this signals the end of Kanye's hiatus, we should be hearing a lot more from him in 2010.
