Empire's second season premiered Wednesday, September 23, on Fox. The show that 50 Cent constantly reminds fans is a knockoff of his hit STARZ drama series Power, finally took the bait and actually mentions him in the story line.

"50 Cent is still taking jabs at us," Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson says. "Look what he put on [Instagram], thirsty ass."

50 replied almost immediately with a hilarious IG video.

"I can't believe Cookie would say some shit like that about me," the music icon joked. "Thirsty? Me, thirsty? Come on, you stupid? Man, me and Cookie go way back. You know I hit that."

Nothing wrong with friendly competition, lol.

50 Cent answered the call when needed by BX Hova, one of the owners of the BX Fight Club. The charitable organization gives women and men the community an outlet to to release pent up aggression by stepping into the ring.

Formed in 2014, our main focus is to provide young men and women an outlet through boxing and fitness conditioning that helps them develop mental toughness and teaches them how to be more productive in our community. Taking part in community activities isn’t always viewed as a cool thing to do.  Our organization setup, though for the community by the community, makes participating in it a cool thing to do, which is paramount to the success of relating to and reaching the young men and women who will benefit from our mission.

50 Cent was a special guest on Tuesday, September 15. He helped to kick things off by performing "What Up Gangsta."

While being interviewed on The Breakfast Club earlier this week French Montana threw several shots 50 Cent's way.

50 doesn't see him as an equal and isn't impressed with what he's accomplished in the music business, but he responded to fan's questions about the "Pop That" rapper during a Hang w/ session on Saturday, August 29.

"I don't care about that nigga," 50 said. "Frenchy better stay with my name out his mouth. I get tired of hearing him then I'll make it so his mouth can't work. When I'm talking to Puffy I ain't talking to you nigga. Your name is Puffy? When he change his name to Puffy? That nigga got one song. He's a DVD guy man...makes videos. Frenchy's like, 'I'm a Ciroc Boy.' You need anything to try and make some sort of momentum 'cuz ain't nothing happening. [You're] ice cold baby."

The G-Unit Records boss also talked about "9 Shots," working with the hottest producers in the business for Street King Immortal, season 3 of Power, says Keith Murray is going to "eat" Fredro Starr in their upcoming battle and more.

The music icon rocked the crowd with the hit records "What Up Gangsta," "I Get Money," "Big Rich Town" and "Many Men" before being joined on stage by Waka Flocka.
