Report via Billboard -- During a probable cause hearing on Friday (June 14), police detectives claimed to have video evidence that shows Lil Durk firing a weapon on Feb. 5 while driving near The Varsity restaurant in Atlanta, according to WSB-TV.
A judge ruled that the court had found probable cause to charge Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, and his co-defendant, rapper King Von, with five felony charges that include criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assualt, unlawful for employed by/associated with criminal street gang to conduct/participate in crime, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Durk will remain behind Fulton County bars without bond for the foreseeable future. The 26-year-old turned himself in on May 30 after an arrest warrant was issued in his name. The charges are tied to the aforementioned Feb. 5 drive-by shooting at The Varsity that resulted in one victim, Alexander Weatherspoon, being rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh. Prosecutors added that Durk was involved in carrying out a robbery of the 23-year-old victim for $30,000, jewelry, and his vehicle, all prior to the shooting.
The Chicago native declared his innocence in a statement to WSB-TV. "Once I heard, I immediately came back," he said prior to turning himself in. “I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to run from." Durk also released a track in an attempt to clear his name. "Look up at the judge, can't look, stay makin' up lies for sure/ I'm a innocent man for sure, it is what it is for sure/ Nobody gon' ride, had a warrant so I can't hide," the OTF honcho raps.
Billboard has reached out to Durk's reps for comment.

ATLANTA, Ga. (CNN) — Some thieves rolled up on the wrong woman outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
Princess was pumping gas at a Texaco station when she saw the guys coming.
“When I as soon as I see his door cracked I was already jumping in my car,” Princess said.
In the surveillance video, the criminals pull up while she was pumping gas Sunday night. Princess then watches as the passenger in the blue sedan jumps out and tries to get into her car.
“It was mind blowing but I just couldn’t believe it was done as I’m standing here,” she said.
But she was way too quick for the criminals, who then drove off.
She did scrape or face in the process. Princess said heard about these slider crimes before criminals targeting people pumping gas.
“They always ride in two. One of car is supposed to distract you. They either they get your purse or they get your car,” she said.
“Nobody wants anything taken from them. No matter if you have insurance and that this is a big inconvenience,” she said.

INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, Fla. (CBS Local) — A Florida woman who allegedly grabbed her boyfriend’s testicles and squeezed so hard that he bled was charged with battery domestic violence, investigators said.
Katie Lee Pitchford, 21, of Indian Harbour Beach was arrested June 4 after a confrontation with her live-boyfriend escalated, according to the Indian Harbour Beach Police Department.
An “enraged” Pitchford allegedly hit her boyfriend with a brush. She continued to “strike him with her fists and scratched” him, drawing blood on the left side of his face, the arrest affidavit said.
“The victim also stated the defendant ‘grabbed him by his balls and squeezed them until they were bleeding,'” the report said.
Police said Pitchford then grabbed her boyfriend by the throat until he could not breathe. The man struggled before getting away and calling police.
Investigtors did not say what the couple was fighting over.

Pitchford admitted the two were arguing, but told police nothing physical had happened. After she was arrested, Pitchford “asked if she could talk to the victim because she wanted to say she was sorry,” the arresting officer said in the report.
Pitchford was also charged with violating her probation from a 2017 case in which she allegedly hit a law enforcement officer.
She was jailed at the Brevard County Jail Complex without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 25.
