The Jay-Z is a Satanist/member of the Illuminati stories just won't go away.

He's tried ignoring them. Then playing into them. And when Rick Ross' Teflon Don album dropped this Tuesday, the artist officially took the issue head on with a guest verse on a song titled "Free Mason."

"I said I was amazing / Not that I'm a Mason / It's amazing that I made it though the maze that I was in / Lord forgive me I never would've made it without sin" - Jay-Z on "Free Mason"

Still, many MCs who claim the cross take issue with Jay-Z's recent imagery and hints at a dark side. In January, Houston rapper Bizzle made waves when he released a track called "Explaining to Do (Jay-Z Expose')" that was directed at the man who calls himself "Jay-hova."

The accompanying YouTube video (now at over 53,000 views) is filled with visual examples of possible connections to the occult and was featured on mainstream rap sites like Allhiphop.com and Worldstarhiphop.com. Overnight, the previously unknown Bizzle found himself in the middle of a firestorm.

"I'm really trying not to get stuck on the Jay-Z stuff and just want to focus on telling people about the Lord and his Good News," Bizzle said.

But obviously, the kid known for calling out Jay has an opinion about his "Free Mason" verse.

"I think he only cleared up things for 'blind' people who want to remain 'blind.' They didn't want to hear a real explanation, they just want to hear him say it's not true," Bizzle said.

"And no, I don't think it was a response to my song. If that's the case he would have addressed the specific points I raised. To me, the logic should be that if I brought up 20 signs that point to him being a Mason and having Satanic ties then he should have to bring up 21 things that say the opposite."

Other Christian rappers aren't so convinced. Dre' Murray (a Houston native) has shared songs with Bizzle but thinks that Jay-Z's verse adequately addressed the issue.

"Make no mistake, Jay'z imagery in the past, especially in the 'On to the Next One' video, was blatant. But I think he was just trying to push people's buttons," Murray said. "I think there was some clarity in 'Free Mason' where he owned up to some stuff and denied other parts.

"Could he be lying? Sure, but for me to devote all my time trying to figure out what he is or isn't really defeats my purpose as a Christian MC. Good should be out fighting evil, not sitting around talking about it."

Still, there's no clear consensus about Jay-Z's lyrics and actions in the holy hip hop community. Here's what outspoken New York rapper Lavoisier told me when he was in town for The Houston Project last week

What are your thoughts? Have you heard Jay-Z's "Free Mason" or Bizzle's "Explaining to Do?" Does the evidence add up to you or did Jay adequately address these concerns?

Zekey took time out recently to talk with Major Moves DVD about rumors that the recent reunion of Dipset might not be 100% real and much more.

"We just keep producing music and it's working out real good. I got my boy Sen City, that's my 1st artist off of 730 Dips," Freekey tells CEO Money Joe. "I'm running down South starting up this 730 Southern situation. 730 is a major movement rocking real hard right now especially in the south."

Zeek knows the streets have been talking about him, Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana getting back together. People want to know if it's genuine or just for the money.

"You gotta understand, once people start seeing...start visualizing and hearing something that was great...that was phenomenal start to form back up. It's always gonna be words and little quotes and chants of people trying to knock that sh*t down. 'Cause if it's not them on top, they don't wanna hear about it. So of course you gonna hear all the negative...' ah them n*ggas don't f*ck with eatch other, they just out here for the money'. I mean but which we are also you know what I'm sayin, but we not just out for the money. It's things we had to admit. Eminem worries he will become an embarrassment to his daughters.

The 'We Made You' hitmaker - who raises his 14-year-old child Hailie, 17-year-old adopted niece Alaina and former wife Kim's seven-year-old girl Whitney - admits it is growing increasingly different to show his love for the trio as they get older.

He said: "It's a catch-22: I want to, as a father, express my love for my girls, but I don't want to go too far with it, where it becomes a hindrance in their lives. When they were younger... it was easier."

The 37-year-old star - whose records have infamously mocked other people in the public eye - has previously battled an addiction to prescription drugs and admits his problems started when he "ran out" of enemies to target.

He explained to Spin magazine: "I was trapped in my head. I'd spent most of my career going against the grain. Calling bulls**t. And suddenly, I started running out of enemies.

"I started to become that cliche - my own worst enemy."

The Detroit-born star also revealed he sometimes goes back to the poverty-stricken neighbourhood where he grew up to remind himself of how far he has come in life.

He said: "It may sound corny, but I'll go by and try to remember how things were when I was in those houses.

"I'll go back and remember, like, f**k, man, how life was back then. How much of a struggle it was. As time goes by, you might get content and forget things."

LEMON TOWNSHIP, Ohio --

A Middletown man was arrested on felony assault charges after surveillance cameras caught him attacking a bartender.

Police said 26-year-old Casey Fryman walked into Main Bar in Lemon Township on July 12 and demanded car keys from his father, who was sitting at the bar.

Fryman, who was not wearing a shirt, was highly agitated and acting aggressively, police said.

Police said the bartender asked Fryman to leave, but he threw a bar stool at her and quickly hopped over the bar.

Fryman picked up Terina King-Smeal, of Middletown, and threw her to the ground before stomping her, officers said.

He then climbed back over the bar and walked out of the building, police said.

Fryman was taken into custody on one count of misdemeanor assault.

Casey Fryman

But police raised the charge to felony assault after viewing the bar's surveillance cameras, which showed the attack from two different angles.

Fryman remains in police custody at the Middletown Jail.

(CNN) -- A homeless man allegedly broke into a California bar and served drinks to unsuspecting patrons all weekend -- before police came calling.

The bar, called the Valencia Club, had gone out of business for some time and its liquor license had expired, police said this week.

But the suspect, Travis Lloyd Kevie, 29, somehow got into the California establishment in the Penryn area of Sacramento Valley last week. He reopened the bar using beer he bought from a nearby store.

Kevie allegedly started with a six-pack of beer and used money he received to buy more alcohol.

He kept the bar open for a weekend serving about 30 customers a day, authorities said.

He was so successful that a local newspaper did a story about the bar reopening.

"A local newspaper report alerted a Placer County Sheriff's Office Detective of a possible ongoing crime being committed in the Penryn area," the Placer County Sheriff's Office said. "As Detective Jim Hudson read the morning newspaper, he recognized an individual pictured on the front page as a local transient who has had numerous contact with the Placer County Sheriff's Office."

A detective went to the bar to determine if Kevie had obtained a liquor license.

"When Detective Hudson arrived at the Valencia Club, it was open for business with customers bellied up to the bar. Upon questioning Kevie Detective Hudson determined that he had no connection to the property and he did not have a liquor license," the department said.

Kevie was arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary and selling liquor without a license.
A large amount of alcohol and cash was also confiscated from the bar.

The newspaper, the Auburn Journal, that ran the story about the about the new "bar owner" reported that Kevie was arraigned on a single misdemeanor charge Thursday and ordered released from jail.

Oakland, Calif. — This city, which has been at the vanguard of medical marijuana legalization on everything from taxation to trade schools to the unionization of marijuana workers, voted Tuesday to permit industrial-size marijuana farms.

After hours of public testimony, the City Council voted 5 to 2 to permit large-scale indoor marijuana plantations. The struggling city, which faces a $31 million deficit and has a 17 percent unemployment rate, estimates that the marijuana factories could bring in as much as $38 million annually in fees and taxes.

“As the industry continues to emerge and grow, we know that other cities are looking at this,” said Councilwoman Rebecca Kaplan, who is running for mayor. “It’s important for Oakland to be a vital part of the growth and development of licensed facilities.”

While the city has been one of the most welcoming in the state to medical marijuana purveyors, how the drug is grown has been largely unregulated. Oakland’s new law, which requires a final vote from the City Council next week, would bring large-scale marijuana cultivators above ground, mandating that they pay a $211,000 annual fee, provide security, conduct criminal background checks on employees, install camera surveillance and fire-safe electrical systems, and buy insurance.

If the plan receives final approval, the city would begin issuing large-scale production permits in January.

Last year, the city’s four licensed medical marijuana dispensaries sold some 6,000 pounds of marijuana worth $28 million and requiring approximately 45,000 square feet of space to grow. City officials estimate that farmers in the new facilities could produce 70,000 pounds a year.

If California voters approve a statewide ballot measure in November legalizing recreational marijuana use for adults, the city would be well positioned to capitalize on the new market.

During the raucous Tuesday meeting — marked by hissing, booing and applause — the council heard testimony from marijuana farmers, including small-scale cultivators who grow their crops in closets and those intending to create marijuana farms larger than football fields.

Nearly all the speakers urged the council to act quickly and to expand the permitting process to include medium-size farmers.

“You want to be the Silicon Valley of cannabis?” asked Jeff Wilcox, who is seeking a permit for a business park for medical marijuana cultivation. “You’ve got to start now.”

Having recently served a jail sentence stemming from weapons charges, T.I. is proof positive that jail can be a detour on a rocky road to redemption.

Asked if he has any advice for Lindsay Lohan, the “Live Your Life” rapper was forthcoming. “The first thing would be to recognize and identify the problem,” T.I. tells In Touch.

“Accept the fact that there needs to be adjustments made — and then it’s all in execution and solving the problem.”

T.I. has been reveling in his freedom, working on his upcoming album King Uncaged, watching movies with his kids (“I liked Iron Man 2 and The Karate Kid definitely came across well.”) and giving back to the community.

“In association with the city of Atlanta, we’re doing a summer camp for boys, 10-13,” he says. “It’s got everything from health and fitness to academics. And we’re teaching them entrepreneurial skills and about things like how to open up bank accounts. The intention is to teach them good habits.

Mel Gibson has reportedly been given the support of Britney Spears.

The 54-year-old actor - who is the subject of domestic violence allegations from ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva - has been receiving regular phone calls from the 'Womanizer' singer after he previously helped her out following her much-publicised breakdown in 2008.

A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Mel has been talking to her a lot. They speak on the phone all the time, usually late at night.

"Mel was one of the only people who reached out to help Britney when she was at her lowest point, and she believes that demonstrates what a loving and wonderful man he is.

"She wants people to give him a second chance - just like he gave her one when everyone else turned away."

Speaking about lending 28-year-old Britney support, Mel admitted he wanted to help her because he felt no one else wanted to step in.

He said at the time: "She's a nice kid. She was just going through a rough patch. You see kids that you know in the industry. I just felt like this poor kid she's lining up to be stoned. I just thought, 'I wonder if anyone is reaching out to her', so I just called her and she's doing great now."

Mel received a visit from child protection services in Los Angeles yesterday (21.06.10) following allegations from Russian singer Oksana he had hit her and their eight-month-old daughter Lucia.

When Tara Rachel Benson went out on a recent night to an album release party in Los Angeles, she put on her makeup, a tight-fitting Herve Leger dress, stiletto heels—and a pair of padded panties.

"It's part of the whole outfit," says Ms. Benson, a 25-year-old assistant to a music manager. Wearing the Booty Pop brand of underwear, which contain egg-shaped foam pads to plump up the posterior, "I look better, I feel better, and as a result, I act better," she says.

For centuries, women have wriggled into girdles and other slimmers to minimize their rear ends. Now, a fascination with the hind-quarters of celebrities like Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian is fueling a booming market for undergarments that amplify the derrière.

On Booty Pop's late-night infomercials, which began airing in December, viewers are entreated to "forget about doing endless squats—and cosmetic surgery, who can afford that?" as models prance around in tight jeans flaunting their backsides.

In May, Bed Bath & Beyond started carrying Booty Pop in most of its 967 stores and online. Drugstore Walgreens, which jumped on the Booty Pop bandwagon in April, is carrying the product at 1,000 of its 7,541 stores and mulling an expansion. Earlier this month, Target started carrying Booty Pop online.

Booty Pop projects it will sell close to 1 million pairs of padded underwear this year.

"I want one," the famously skinny reality TV star Nicole Richie wrote this month on Twitter, after which she posted a link to a "black licorice" cotton-spandex pair, on sale for $19.95. Through her publicist, Ms. Richie declined to comment.

Booty Pop isn't the only company seeking a boost from behind. Early next year, Maidenform Brands plans to introduce a "Jean Collection"—internally called "Project Injeanious"—containing bottom shapers.

"There are a lot of similarities between what you can do for the rear and breast—you can lift it, round it and shape it," says Maurice Reznik, Maidenform's chief executive.

At lingerie retailer Frederick's of Hollywood, the $28 "Booty Boy Short" (they're for women, despite the name) is currently the No. 2 top-selling shaping item online. Victoria's Secret introduced the "bum booster" in January in some outlets, and a spokeswoman says it is selling well.

"It's not so hot to have a pancake a— these days," says Azar Jazestani, a 26-year-old wedding planner in Montreal, who wears Booty Pop panties with jeans.

Almost immediately after he finished a jail bid for gun charges in March, T.I. set out to reclaim his status as a hip-hop king — hitting the mixtape circuit and huddling in the studio with Lady Gaga and Swizz Beatz. But that doesn't mean jail wasn't a serious setback.

"It did make me worse in a sense. ... Putting me in prison took me off [a positive] path a little bit, and now I'm working to get back on that path — or at least back on the path to the extent that I was before I went in," T.I. told Complex magazine. Before heading to jail, T.I. was serving part of his sentence by counseling at-risk kids and notched over 200 speaking engagements warning young people about violence on the MTV show "Road to Redemption."

T.I., who is on the cover of the magazine's August/September issue, says that the jail atmosphere definitely took its toll. "I lost a little bit of my positive focus during that period of incarceration. Being in that environment and having those daily surroundings, it's going to affect you."

One result was that he actually tuned out when it came to music. "I didn't listen much to records when I was in there. Music is what I do every day. That made me more homesick than anything," he said. Instead, T.I. logged lots of TV hours to pass the time. "I watched series like 'Sons of Anarchy.' I'm a fan. It's another form of 'The Sopranos' to me. I watched football and ESPN." But, the most popular show on the cellblock — "True Blood" — held no appeal for him.

"I couldn't really [watch it]. They got into that sh-- heavy," T.I. said. "The whole prison damn near shut down. Everybody left off the yard, like, ' "True Blood" coming on!' They went crazy for it — there's a bunch of sex in it, so they were tuning in for that."
