Beanie Sigel was once a key a key member of Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella team. The Philadelphia rapper and his State Property family helped Hov build a dynasty. But when that dynasty crumbled so did his relationship Jay-Z.

Starting in October 2009, Beans began airing Hov out on a several diss tracks. He released "Kill A Jigga Man", "What You Talkin Bout (Average Cat)" and "I Go Off", but Jay never responded.

Today (May 31) Beanie issued an apology to the man he dissed so viciously.

What Mike Epps say? ‘Gangstas f*ck up too,’” Sigel told XXLMag.com. “Whatever I felt this dude Jay did wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me – he gave me an opportunity. Dude gave me an opportunity. A lot of people don’t get opportunities. He gave me that. That outweighs everything. I need that in black and white. I got caught in the moment and put my feelings out there. I should have never done that.”

Whether or not his relationship with Jay can be fixed is anybody's guess, but the Broad Street Bully says it could have gotten worse. He told XXL he has an album's worth of disses going at Hov's head, but he won't release them now.

I was explaining the whole Roc-A-Fella sh*t and a lot of feelings were going to get hurt,” he said. “I was airing sh*t out. Just the homies could listen to that when they come into the studio. I couldn’t put that out. It wouldn’t sit right with me.

Next up for Beans is a mixtape and album with DJ Green Lantern.

What do you make of Beanie's apology? Do you think Jay-Z will ever forgive him and work with him again?

"Where my ring? Knew you had it cause you took too long as Micky, Annie and the girl who bought it looked on. Huffing and puffing, gun in my hand told you to step outside. Hoping you said no, but you hurt my pride. Made our way down the steps, maybe you thought it was just a threat. Or maybe your life was just that crazy and you was begging for death. Tried to justify this in my young mind, but the adrenaline and my ego hurt combined drove me berserk. Saw the devil in your eyes, high off more than weed, confused, I just closed my young eyes and squeezed. What a sound, opened my eyes just in time to see you stumbling to the ground. Damn, what I done now?" Jay-Z "You Must Love Me" I remember the the first time I heard Jay-Z's song "You Must Love Me." A joint that describes several incidents he was involved in as a youth, that he later came to regret. Acts Such as selling crack to his own mother, using a young girl as a mule to carry cocaine (she gets popped by the police), and shooting his own brother. I often wondered if any of it was true or just typical rap boasting from Hov, trying to add "realness" to the song. In an interview with the UK Guardian, Jay-Z admits at least one of the scenarios is %100 fact. At the age of 12, he shot his crack addicted older brother over a stolen ring. "I thought my life was over. I thought I'd go to jail for ever." Hov said "It was terrible. I was a boy, a child. I was terrified." Luckily the bullet hit his brother in the shoulder and wasn't a life threatening wound. When Hov visited him in the hospital, his brother apologized for stealing the ring and didn't press charges against him. In the interview Jay goes on to describe how prevalent guns were at that time in his neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. A problem that has only gotten worse in every hood across America. "Guns were everywhere. You didn't have to go far to get one. Just everywhere," he said. "Guns were around every day. There were shootouts, but I never shot anyone else. Most people in shootouts don't get shot." Jigga claims he was shot at three times, but never hit. "It's like there was some rogue angel watching over us," he said. Videos After The Jump The Hottest MC's In The Game list, voted on by MTV is completed. Was there ever any doubt as to who would be number one? Coming in at # 1 is Eminem Eminem has dominated hip hop this year. His 'Recovery' album shot out the gate, selling 741,000 copies it's first week out, and is almost at 3 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. At one point the album had an incredible 7 songs on Billboards Hot 100 Singles chart. With "25 To Life" # 92, "Talkin To Myself" # 88, "Cold Wind Blows" # 71, "Won't Back Down" # 62, "No Love" # 23, "Not Afraid" # 11 and "Love The Way You Lie" at # 2. The Rihanna assisted "Love The Way You Lie" has dominated pop radio, spending four weeks in Billboards top slot. Eminem also participated in what some have called the greatest hip hop concerts in history when he and Jay-Z paired up for the Home and Home shows at Detroit's Comerica Park and New York's Yankee Stadium. The concerts featured guests 50 Cent, Dr Dre, D12, Trick Trick, Young Jeezy, Drake, Memphis Bleek as well as B.o.B., Kanye West and Beyonce. Proving that rap artists cauld sell out stadiums. Coming in at # 2 is Jay-Z Jigga simply shows no signs of slowing down. The Brooklyn rapper didn't have an album out in 2010, but he rode the success of 2009's 'Blueprint 3', selling out concerts worldwide. He is regularly headlining shows that have traditionally been the sole territory of rock acts. In November Hov is slated to open for U2 for the Australia and New Zealand legs on their 360 tour. Add to that the success of the Home and Home concerts with Eminem, and it's easy to see why Jigga got the # 2 slot. Coming in at # 3 is Kanye West. West has really enjoyed a stellar 2010. In what has been a big comeback year for the Chicago rapper, following a 2009 that saw a lot of the media and some fans turn their backs on him after the Taylor Swift VMA incident. While he doesn't have a chart topping song at the moment, Kanye has put out a number of fantastic joints via his G.O.O.D Friday campaign. He's also released two groundbreaking videos with "Power" and the short film "Runaway." Add to that his great live performances at the BET Awards and Saturday Night Live. West has proven why he is amongst the elite the game has to offer. With a new album, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' about to drop next month, 2010 will only get better for the Louis Vuitton Don. Coming in at # 4 is Drake Young Money has been very well represented on the Hottest MC's list this time around. Drake is the third emcee from the camp to make the list, following Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. His debut album 'Thank Me Later' debuted at # 1 with 447,000 copies sold, and is closing in on platinum status. Three songs from the disc, "Over", "Miss Me" and "Find Your Love" have achieved top 15 recognition on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The sky seems to be the limit for Drake as an artist. He is able to pull off the rare feat of making both R&B and Hip Hop joints, while keeping both audiences satisfied. Coming in at # 5 is Officer Rick Ross. Congrats to all the artists who made the list. twitter-5d.gif

Chelsea Lately is probably the funniest late night talk show host. She's even funnier when she sets her sights on a target.

Recently that target happened to be Beyonce Knowles.

Chelsea took major shots at the R&B diva for her borderline raunchy performance at this years Grammy Awards.

Check out what Ms Lately had to say about it.
