Scarface is one of the living legends in hip hop, but the art form wasn't his first love musically. He sat down with Vlad TV and revealed that rock artists like Kiss, Pink Floyd, Molly Hatchet and Rush were his early influences.
He said that at the time he started his career with Rap-A-Lot they weren't putting out rock music so he developed his mic skills.
"Hip hop was an outlet," Face explained. "Rap-A-Lot wasn't putting out no rock bands. So I had to rap."
He goes on to talk about his desire to work with Stevie Nicks, guitarists he likes, the next big artist coming out of Houston and predicts that hip hop will be 100% white in 25 years.
"Hip hop is gonna be white in 25 years," Face said. "It's gonna be all white kids. It's gonna be like rock and roll. You better f*cking believe it."

Nas is planting his foot down firmly by refusing to pay promoter Patrick Allocco one penny of the $10 million lawsuit against him.
As we previously reported, Allocco and his son, also named Patrick, were not allowed to leave Angola for 49 days after Nas failed to show for a 2011 New Year's Eve show.
a local promoter by the name of Henrique "Riquhino" Miguel paid Nas $300,000 in advance for the show. When the rapper didn't appear as planned Miguel prevented the Allocco's from leaving the country.
Allocco and his son hailed a cab to take them to the U.S. Embassy, but instead of taking them there the cab driver drove them to a parking lot where they were surrounded by two dozen gun-toting men. The men turned out to be Miguel's bodyguards. They took the Allocco's to the police who interrogated them in Portuguese--which they do not speak for seven hours.
"When we first arrived at the jail for questioning, they made sure to show me where I would be staying if I couldn’t get the act or the money right away," Allocco told New Jersey.com. "It was a Third World holding cell that smelled of sweat and human body odor."
The U.S. Embassy intervened on behalf of the concert promoter and placed him and his son in a hotel. However their passports were taken away and they weren't allowed to leave until Nas returned the advance.
The "Hate Me Now" rapper eventually repaid the $300K advance allowing the Allocco's to be released.
In December 2012 the promoter sued Nas for $10 million. In the federal lawsuit, Allocco claimed he was beaten and threatened constantly while being held in Angola. He also says that because he was unable to do business during his 49 days out of the U.S., he lost his home and business.
On Monday, April 29, 2013, Nas filed his own court documents asking a judge to throw out Patrick's lawsuit against him according to TMZ.
Nas claims that he and Patrick reached an agreement that if he repaid the advance the promoter wouldn't sue.
Nas says the promoter breached their original contract by failing to provide enough security, fumbling their plane tickets and paying the $300K advance late.

"T.I.’s like my family, he’s like an older brother to me. I love everybody at Grand Hustle," Iggy said. I’m a part of Hustle Gang and I’m a supporter of Grand Hustle and they’re a supporter of me.”

Dramatic footage showing a shootout between 2 police officers and a suspect in Middlefield, Ohio has just surfaced.
Officers Brandon Savage and Erin Thomas pulled over 42-year old James Gilkerson for a routine traffic stop on March 10, 2013. While the cops ran his plates, Gilkerson suddenly exits his vehicle with a semi-automatic rifle and fires round after round at the two officers, who are still in their patrol car.
Savage and Thomas managed to return fire, killing Gilkerson in the process.
Officer Thomas, who had just been hired weeks before the incident suffered a gunshot to her hand. Officer Savage was shot in the leg. Both were treated and released from an area hospital.

Authorities still have no idea why Gilkerson opened fire on the officers.
**UPDATE** May 4th
More details have merged along with the full video of the shootout between James Gilkerson and Middlefield, Ohio police.
According to Cleveland.com, the assault rifle used by Gilkerson was an AK-47. He fired 37 shots at Officers Brandon Savage and Erin Thomas. They returned fire with 54 rounds of their own.
Authorities found eight 40-round magazines for the AK-47 in Gilkerson's car along with books about militia and terrorism.
The names of some of the literature were "Backyard Rocketry: Converting Model Rockets Into Explosive Missiles," "Advanced Close-range Gun Fighting," "Homemade Detonators: How To Make Them." Another described how to get rid of a dead body.
"He got of the vehicle, intending to kill my officers. We don't know why he did it," said Police Chief Arnold Stanko. "He was a scumbag, and a terrorist, and he's dead."
The suspect lived at home with his mother. It appears he kept most of the books and weapons in his car because a search of the home turned up very little evidence.
Officer Thomas lost a finger during the shootout and has not returned to work. Officer Savage is back on the job after recovering from wounds to his leg.
Full dash cam footage of shootout. Officers kill Gilkerson (Warning: Graphic content)
Below are books, magazines and gun clips found in Gilkerson's car.
