One of the fans Miguel landed on when he unsuccessfully tried to jump over a section of the crowd at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards is taking him to court.
TMZ reports that Cindy Tsai is suing the singer and the MGM Grand, where the event was held, for negligence.
Tsai is seeking damages to cover medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

The 42nd American Music Awards were held on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.
The biggest winner on the night was Katy Perry who walked away with three trophies, including Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock.
Iggy Azalea pulled off what some might consider to be two major upsets. The Australian rapper beat Drake and Eminem for Favorite Artist Rap/Hip Hop, and again in the category of Favorite Album Rap/Hip Hop, where "The New Classic" bested "Nothing Was the Same" and "The Marshall Mathers LP 2."
Beyonce won Favorite Female Artist Soul/R&B and Favorite Album Soul/R&B for her self-titled 2013 disc.
