Kobe Bryant and his mom aren't seeing eye to eye on a proposed sale of some of his memorabilia. As a result they have wound up in court.
According to TMZ, Pamela Bryant was paid a $450,000 advance by Goldin Auctions of New Jersey for the right to sell a hundreds of Kobe's possessions, which include game and practice jerseys from his days at Lower Merion High School, trophies, a 2000 signed All-Star game ball, his varsity high school letters, a Lakers jacket and shorts plus more.
Pamela claims her son gave her the items, but Kobe doesn't agree and is attempting to block the sale.
Goldin has filed a lawsuit, naming Kobe as the defendant. They are asking a judge to declare Pamela the owner of the items so they proceed with the sale.
**UPDATE** May 7th
The feud between Kobe Bryant and his mother has taken another ugly turn. The basketball star has filed a countersuit against Goldin Auctions.
Bryant claimsin the suit that Pamela Bryant stole some of the memorabilia she plans on selling from his home and refuses to return the rest that he left at her home when he moved out according to TMZ
At the center of the battle is money. Kobe feels like he's been more than generous to his parents over the years. He offered to buy his parents a nice home in Las Vegas recently for considerably less than a million dollars. They turned down the offer because they wanted a bigger crib.
Pam is angry because her son bought his wife's mother a $3.2 million dollar pad in Newport Beach, California. After that house sold, he bought her another multi-million dollar crib. Pam feels like Kobe tried to shortchange his own flesh and blood, according to TMZ.
Kobe drew a line in the sand and said enough is enough.
It's pretty sad to see this situation play out in front of the media.

Things are not all good at the home of French Montana's ex-wife, and she's letting the world know about it.
Deen Kharbouch has launched into a verbal assault aimed at the Bad Boy Records rapper over the last couple of hours on Twitter.
"@FrencHMonTanA is a HORRIBLE father," Deen wrote on the social networking site. "@FrencHMonTanA has not seen his son in months.. His son is in the hospital and he could careless. #Fatherlesschild ... Your son is not for photo ops only.@frenchmontana is a fake f*ck that uses people #vampire.@FrencHMonTanA where is your son ??"
French, real name Karim Kharbouch, told The Boombox back in September that stardom had taken a toll on his five-year marriage, resulting in a divorce.
"Man, I couldn't do it; that's why we got separated," French said at the time. "At first it was smooth, but then as much as people think that money changes you, it's changing them around you. A person ain't gonna treat you the same now that they think that you think you somebody. You around so many beautiful women, that's a conflict too. It's just about finding somebody that understand the game, what you're into. You can't expect to make all this money and not go through problems. You can't expect God to give you everything you want without taking something away."

Lil Wayne has already announced that Tha Carter V will be his last album before he hangs up the mic, but it will be a while before that happens.
"There should be a lot in between there," Wayne told MTV News. "It's no time soon."
The Young Money CEO said there could be a follow up to 2006's Like Father, Like Son album with Birdman. He also hinted that there could be a Big Tymers album with Drake.
"It's all kind of possibilities," Wayne said.
The Big Tymers originally consisted of Birdman and Mannie Fresh. Would Mannie come back on board for the album? Would it just be Drizzy and Weezy? Or would Birdman also contribute to the project?
We should find out more when the Rich Gang appears on RapFix Live on Wednesday, May 8th.
Would you be interested in hearing a Big Tymers album that included Drake?

Future should probably expect a lawsuit soon after failing to show up for an appearance at a Las Vegas club over the weekend.
Future was paid $36,000 of his $46,000 fee to appear at Pulse nightclub on Saturday, May 4th. It would have been his first Sin City appearance.
The rapper was traveling with current girlfriend, Ciara. When the couple arrived in town they asked for two SUV's for their entourage.. The SUV's were sold out at the company the club uses so they upgraded and gave them a super stretch limo.
The club gets another call from Future's tour manager that Ciara refused to get in the limo with the special guest they had with them. A Lincoln town car was then sent to pick up Future at the airport, but the rapper refused to get in the car and eventually took the limo to his hotel.
Future's people called from the hotel and demanded two SUV's. The club called another company and had four Cadillac Escalades sent to pick up the couple and their entourage. When they arrived at the club, Future and Ciara went to a steakhouse nearby and never made it inside the club.
The club had the couple kicked out of their hotel rooms because they had booked them.
Future's manager, Rocko, called and blamed the incident on Ciara.
"I don't give a damn about Ciara. I didn't book Ciara," Cliff Dutton told The Breakfast Club.
"I know he got engaged and he's in love and all that, but when you gotta work, man up and get to work Future." added club owner Kiki. "You had a commitment to us. We had to call out 30 Metro officers to secure our building when we announced that he wasn't going to show up."
Charlamagne Tha God later gave Future the "Donkey of the Day."

Three Cleveland women who vanished at different times during adolescence roughly a decade ago were miraculously found alive Monday in a city home after a neighbor heard a desperate cry for help and kicked the door down.
Amanda Berry (center) reunited with her sister (l.) in the hospital after Berry and two other women who had been missing for a decade were found alive in a house not far from where they were last seen.
Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were delivered from captivity when Berry managed to stick her arm through the home’s busted front door about 6 p.m., drawing the attention of neighbor Charles Ramsey.
In this 2004 photo, Felix DeJesus, holds a banner showing his daughter's photograph, standing by a memorial in his living room in Cleveland.“I heard screaming ... and I see this girl going nuts trying to get outside,” said Ramsey. “I go on the porch and she said, ‘Help me get out! I’ve been here a long time!’”
“She says, ‘Call 911! My name is Amanda Berry!’”
Amanda Marie Berry went missing at age 16 on April 21, 2003 after leaving her job at Burger King.Ramsey said he kicked open the door, unlocking the secrets concealed in the home on Seymour Ave., just south of Cleveland’s downtown.
Gina DeJesus went missing at age 14 on April 2, 2004 after heading home from school.Berry, missing for a decade and now 27, begged a 911 dispatcher once outside to send police.
“I’ve been kidnapped, and I’ve been missing for 10 years,” she cried out. “And I’m here! I’m free now!”
Investigators enter a house on the west side of Cleveland where police say the three women were found.
Also inside the home were DeJesus, who disappeared nine years ago and is now 23, and Knight, 32, who went missing 12 years ago.
Berry's 6-year-old daughter was also found inside the home, cops said.
In this 2006 file photo, a memorial for Gina DeJesus, who had been missing since April 2, 2004, rests alongside her house in Cleveland. Cleveland police say DeJesus, one of two women who went missing as teenagers about a decade ago has been found alive in a residential area about two miles south of downtown.Police took three brothers into custody. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that one of them, Ariel Castro, 52, is the home’s owner and has lived there since 1992.
Charles Ramsey heard Amanda Berry screaming and played the part of a hero -- kicking down the door and rescuing her and two other women.
Authorities planned a press conference for Tuesday, releasing no details about the captivity of the three women — cases that long stumped investigators. At least three times in recent years, police dug for a body of one of the women, acting on bogus information.
“We have many unanswered questions regarding this case, and the investigation will be ongoing,” said Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson. “I am thankful that these three young ladies are found and alive.”
Cleveland police and FBI agents search a yard on the west side of Cleveland last year for evidence in the disappearance of Amanda Berry after receiving a tip.All three women were examined at Metro Health Medical Center and released Tuesday morning, hospital officials said.
Berry disappeared on April 21, 2003, a day before her 17th birthday, after calling her sister to say she was getting a ride home from her job at a Cleveland Burger King. DeJesus was 14 when she vanished while walking home from school on April 2, 2004. Knight, 19 when she disappeared, was last seen at a cousin’s home on Aug. 23, 2002.
