This year will mark the 48th-year anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination, and as the last judge presiding over alleged shooter, James Earl Ray's case, Judge Joe Brown still believes "he didn't kill him." In an interview with DJ Vlad, the honorable judge says he didn't believe Ray was the gunman despite pleading guilty. Brown said, Ray denied the murder but plead guilty because he felt it was in his best interest under the circumstances given. "He said, 'I never said I killed King, I didn't kill him. I'm pleading because of Alford.'"
In October 2015, Young Chop, made a video criticizing Kanye West for using fellow Chicago artists, but not giving back.
"He right along with the shits," Chop said. "Use you, try to soak up everything niggas know. Get you to write songs for him and then don't call you after that. Fuck him. For instance, "Don't Like" and my boy Vic Mensa. They gon' make it seem like he put them on. And he really fucking didn't. Niggas started from the bottom."
During a new interiew with Vlad TV, Chop doubled down on his previous comments.
"He's using [people], it is what it is. Shout out to Kanye ... he doing what he doing," Chop told Vlad. "My problem was or still is that, 'nigga you need to come fuck with us.'"

NEW YORK (AP) — Calls for a boycott of the Academy Awards are growing over the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences' second straight year of mostly white nominees, as Spike Lee and Jada Pinkett Smith each said Monday that they will not attend this year's ceremony.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Lee said he "cannot support" the "lily white" Oscars. Noting that he was writing on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Lee — who in November said he was fed up: "Forty white actors in two years and no flava at all," he wrote. "We can't act?!"
In a video message on Facebook, Pinkett Smith also said she wouldn't attend or watch the Oscars in February. Pinkett Smith, whose husband Will Smith wasn't nominated for his performance in the NFL head trauma drama "Concussion," said it was time for people of color to disregard the Academy Awards.
"Begging for acknowledgement, or even asking, diminishes dignity and diminishes power," she said. "And we are a dignified people and we are powerful."
She added: "Let's let the academy do them, with all grace and love. And let's do us differently."
Last year's all-white acting nominees also drew calls for a boycott, though not from such prominent individuals as Lee and Pinkett Smith. Whether it had any impact or not, the audience for the broadcast, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, was down 16 percent from the year prior, a six-year low.
This year, academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs has made a point of presenting a more inclusive show. The Feb. 28 broadcast will be hosted by Chris Rock and produced by "Django Unchained" producer Reginald Hudlin and David Hill. On Saturday, Rock, unveiling a new promotion for the broadcast, called the ceremony "The White BET Awards."
The academy didn't immediately respond to messages left Monday.
In his post, Lee made it clear the Academy Awards is only part of the problem in an industry with deep-rooted diversity issues.
"The Academy Awards is not where the 'real' battle is," wrote Lee. "It's in the executive office of the Hollywood studios and TV and cable networks. This is where the gate keepers decide what gets made and what gets jettisoned to 'turnaround' or scrap heap. This is what's important. The gate keepers. Those with 'the green light' vote."
I Would Like To Thank President Cheryl Boone Isaacs And The Board Of Governors Of The Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts And Sciences For Awarding Me an Honorary Oscar This Past November. I Am Most Appreciative. However My Wife, Mrs. Tonya Lewis Lee And I Will Not Be Attending The Oscar Ceremony This Coming February. We Cannot Support It And Mean No Disrespect To My Friends, Host Chris Rock and Producer Reggie Hudlin, President Isaacs And The Academy. But, How Is It Possible For The 2nd Consecutive Year All 20 Contenders Under The Actor Category Are White? And Let's Not Even Get Into The Other Branches. 40 White Actors In 2 Years And No Flava At All. We Can't Act?! WTF!! It's No Coincidence I'm Writing This As We Celebrate The 30th Anniversary Of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday. Dr. King Said "There Comes A Time When One Must Take A Position That Is Neither Safe, Nor Politic, Nor Popular But He Must Take It Because Conscience Tells Him It's Right". For Too Many Years When The Oscars Nominations Are Revealed, My Office Phone Rings Off The Hook With The Media Asking Me My Opinion About The Lack Of African-Americans And This Year Was No Different. For Once, (Maybe) I Would Like The Media To Ask All The White Nominees And Studio Heads How They Feel About Another All White Ballot. If Someone Has Addressed This And I Missed It Then I Stand Mistaken. As I See It, The Academy Awards Is Not Where The "Real" Battle Is. It's In The Executive Office Of The Hollywood Studios And TV And Cable Networks. This Is Where The Gate Keepers Decide What Gets Made And What Gets Jettisoned To "Turnaround" Or Scrap Heap. This Is What's Important. The Gate Keepers. Those With "The Green Light" Vote. As The Great Actor Leslie Odom Jr. Sings And Dances In The Game Changing Broadway Musical HAMILTON, "I WANNA BE IN THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS". People, The Truth Is We Ain't In Those Rooms And Until Minorities Are, The Oscar Nominees Will Remain Lilly White.
Birdman and Lil Wayne appeared together at Club Liv in Miami on Sunday January 18, making it clear, once and for all that they have put aside their differences.
"This my motherfucking son and I'ma die for him. I'ma live for him and I'll motherfucking kill for him. That ain't gon' ever change, nigga," Birdman told the audience as Wayne stood next to him.
Baby also used the occasion to address people who have dissed him recently over the way they perceived Weezy's contractual situation was being handled.
"All you bitch niggas that be saying my name, I'ma pull up! And I ain't gon' pull up talking you heard me? Believe that" he said.
Two artists that Birdman could be referring to areRick RossandPusha T.
Ross was highly critical of the Cash Money Records boss during a December interview with The Breakfast Club.
"Weezy my homie. I was just with Weezy the other night in the club," Ross said. "Anything else, take it how you want it. I don't have [a relationship] with Birdman. Me just seeing what Wayne going through as a artist. Him being a boss. Me idolizing Birdman at a time. Me looking up to Lil Wayne. Wayne being the first artist to make so many feats. Not just as a artist, but a artist coming from the South. That's something that I took personal. So, for me to see the way things are transpiring I can't respect that and I don't respect that. I was as Club Liv, and me and Mack Maine was huddled up speaking. [I told him] you gon' hear some things, and I've said some things and I'ma stand on that. And I mean that. You gon' see that and let's make it clear."
"If you steal something that's just corny," Pusha told Mikey andClark Martin. "If you stealing something contractually, that's like the lowest form of a thief. It's like a cat burglar. It's not even respectable in no way, shape or form. You ain't even thugging it. You're like, sneaky. I don't respect that. I ain't respected Baby for a long time no way, so it don't matter."
50 Cent told MTV last February that people shouldn't add their two cents to the Lil Wayne and Birdman rift because of the close relationship they have.
"I just know that they have a father/son relationship. That can be something that they communicate between the two of 'em and resolve instead of having everybody else involved in it," 50 reasoned. "Be careful of the things you say about the Wayne and Baby situation. Because Baby will forgive Wayne for the things that he's saying. And Wayne will forgive Baby for the things that he's saying. But that may not forgive you."
Who do you think Birdman was referring to onstage at Liv?
The week is already off to a nice start musically as Kanye West teams up with Kendrick Lamar for a new collaboration titled "No More Parties in L.A." Enjoy it up top.
