Keri Hilson is out on the talk show circuit promoting her upcoming album 'No Boys Allowed.'
She made her way to the always entertaining Chelsea Lately Show yesterday, to talk about what she's been up to.
The singer revealed she has a few things in common with the Kardashian sisters, has some pretty good hoop skills, although she lost $16,000 in a pick up game against one of R. Kelly's friends.
She also talked about her recent collaboration with Sugarland at the VH1 Divas: Salute To The Troops show and why she wont date rappers.
"When you mix a man who has popularity, who has money, who has b*tches. That's a scary thing for me," Keri said. "I don't think it speaks to my insecurities. That's just not the type of man I want, and I think I'm not the type of girl they want. I have a brain, I'm a little more than they bargained for."
The I won't date rapper because "I have a brain" statement kind of seemed like a diss towards Chelsea, who has been romantically linked to 50 Cent.
Keri should choose her words more wisely during interviews.
Great news for hip hop fans, the Goodie Mob reunion is officially on. The Atlanta foursome of Cee-Lo Green, Big Gipp, Khujo, and T-Mo had done several concert dates together this year, but had not recorded together since 1999's 'World Party' disc.
Cee-Lo revealed that a single and, or a mixtape will drop before the end of the year, with an album to follow by April or March of 2011.
Being a white rapper in an art form created by and dominated by African Americans, can't be an easy thing. But if you stay true to the music and respect the culture you can do it, Eminem has proven that.
Yelawolf is succeeding in making his mark because he has shown that respect, and also because he's extremely talented.
The Alabama rapper talked to XXL about "Being A White MC in 2010."
"I could go to the projects, I could go to the hood because I respected the people, and I understood an element of that struggle in a different way," Yela says. "But I can still go to the trailer parks, I can go to the apartments, I can go to the country and just kick it with country folks. I've been blessed to have experienced a lot and that will translate as time goes on."
It's crazy to think that in 2010, there's still racism, people still look at you and assess who they think you are and what you're about in just a few seconds, without ever having spoken with you.
The same rules apply to music...Yela says it's something you just have to deal with.
"People are still judging... I see on twitter all the time 'this white boy this, this white boy that', and they're not even giving the music a chance," Yela explains. "And on the flip side, I met someone last night who had Trunk Muzik 0-60 [his new album]. Somehow without an artwork, somehow had never seen a picture of me. 'Oh my God I didn't know you was white man, that's crazy what the f*ck.' I don't know how in this day and age. I think it says a lot about my music. It says a lot about that person too. But to me I make music. I respect black culture. At the end of the day this is black music. And it's American black music."
It's become very popular for anyone to say the word n*gga now. People of all races use the word. Not just to describe black people, but also amongst themselves. It's as if the word is just a cool thing to use in some circles.
Yelawolf thinks white people should stop using it... period.
"Don't drop the N-bomb - white boys out there dropping the N-bomb just stop please. You'll never ever, ever, ever be able to say it. It's never gonna be cool, just stop. Don't drop it in your music, don't drop it around people, don't drop it to me on Twitter. I see these white boys on twitter dropping the N-bomb. I'm like 'dude I'm not even going to respond to you', you're never that cool.
Video After The JumpOprah Winfrey has been dogged by rumors that she has been having a lesbian affair witth her best friend Gayle King for years.
In an interview with Barbara Walters, the talk show host gets very emotional while describing her relationship with Gayle.
"She is the mother I never had. She is ... the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don't know a better person," Oprah says as tears begin to flow.
Barbara asks why is it making her cry to talk about it.
"It's making me cry because I'm thinking about how much I never told her that," Oprah replies.
Barbara then asks about the rumors that she and Gayle are gay.
"Well I have said that we are not gay enough times. I'm not lesbian, I'm not even kind of lesbian. And the reason why it irritates me is because it means that somebody must think I'm lying. That's number one. Number two ... why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life."
The full interview airs Thursday December 9 at 9:00 PM EST on ABC.

Video After The JumpBoxing fans love to debate which fighter is the greatest of all time. In such debates, people generally up end going old school vs new school.
For most though, Muhammad Ali has been considered the greatest and most well known boxer of all time.
Manny Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz doesn't think that is the case anymore. At least not when it comes to popularity. He tells reporter Elie Seckbach that Pac Man is now the biggest name boxing has ever seen.
"I think it's all the things we've been doing. 60 Minutes programs, you know - 24-7 again. It's put him into that category of a rock star," Koncz said "I think he's one of the most popular boxers ever, even more than Ali. You gotta remember Muhammad Ali, and he was my favorite boxer. He never became world wide famous until the draft issue, it wasn't because of his boxing. [Ali was convicted for refusing induction into the military]. And I think that's what's happening to Manny too. Like I said with 60 Minutes, the Dateline show that we did, the Jimmy Kimmel show that we did twice. We're taking him out of the boxing circle and putting him into the household."
Koncz makes some interesting points, but Ali became worldwide famous without the internet, pay-per-view, Showtime and HBO. I think that's a really hard comparison to make.
In other Pacquiao news, it's looking more and more likely that his next opponent will be either Sugar Shane Mosely or Andre Berto.
Juan Manuel Marquez was also in the running, but promotor Bob Arum said his asking price was way too high.
“Marquez's proposal was so out of line for anything that he got before… I don't think Manny is going to pay any attention to it,” Arum said in an interview with FanHouse.com
On the possibility of Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Pacquiao, it doesn't look like that fight will happen until at least the end of 2011, if at all.
Oscar De La Hoya of Floyd's promotion team Golden Boy is accusing Arum of ducking his fighter. Arum is calling bullsh*t on that accusation.
"That's totally nonsense because you can argue over the first situation, the first go around. They had one position, we had another. But on the second go around we gave in to every one of their positions. We were so anxious to make the fight and Mayweather didn't want to fight," Arum said "And even today we will do the fight unconditionally, unconditionally! And all Mayweather has to do is say ('yes') he wants the fight."
So our poll for today is, who is the greatest fighter of all time? Use whatever criteria you want to - popularity, pay-per-view buys etc But the most important thing in determining the greatest is boxing skills.

Video After The JumpIn probably his last interview before he reports to a federal prison for three years, Wesley Snipes sat down with Larry King.
Snipes was convicted of failure to file taxes in 1999, 2000 and 2001, a misdemeanor. He is scheduled to report to McKean Federal Correctional Institution on Thursday to begin his sentence.
The 48-year old actor told Larry that he felt he was being made an example of by the judge and prosecutors in the case. He explained that his financial advisors were given power of attorney, in order to handle his taxes for him.
Prosecutors said Snipes earned $40 million since 1999 but had filed no returns and had been involved in a tax resisters group
"This is another thing that has been misreported. It has been framed that I was a conspirator and that I was an architect in a scheme by an organization that has been characterized as tax protesters. The press hasn't reported that I was a client of people who I trusted [who] had knowledge and expertise in the areas of tax law that would protect my interests," Snipes said.
Frank Tuttle, who served as a juror in Snipes' trial, told CNN that several jurors had already made their minds up that the actor was guilty before the trial even began.
"There was one juror that said they knew Mr Snipes was guilty when they saw him during jury selection. I told the juror that was not right, and it went against what the judge had told us before the trial was to begin. Two others then agreed, and said that they thought he was guilty when they first saw him, before the trial began.
We were deadlocked on our decision about Mr Snipes before this happened. I was not expecting to hear that from a juror and most jurors felt the same. That's when a deal was made to find him guilty on the failure to file taxes [a misdemeanor]. And not the federal tax evasion charge. We did not think he would go to jail." Tuttle stated.
Snipes became a household name by starring in the films, New Jack City, White Men Can't Jump and Blade.
His only hope of avoiding jail tme is a last minute reprieve by the Supreme Court.

Video After The JumpYoung Money artist Bow Wow has seen his name tied to a couple of negative internet rumors recently.
One, is that he is going to commit suicide soon, after tweets he made saying he would be better off dead.
The other is the rumor that he is somehow linked to the B2K, Raz B, Marques Houston homosexual molestation drama.
Bow sat down with Angie Ange of 93.9 WKYS to clear things up.
Is he suicidal?
Bow: You know what it is? You seen that movie with Macaulay Culkin - you seen Richie Rich before? Remember when he went to the baseball park, and he saw all the kids in the park? And the kids look at him like 'yo you got a mansion, and an amusement park.' He don't care about that, cuz that's all he knows. That's similar with me, it's the same story, it's all I know is the business. I aint had time to go play football, or do none of the regular stuff. So it's kind of like at times it haunts you. I'm unbalanced because I've only seen one side of life. So, it's like I didn't really mean it like 'yo I'm about to kill myself right now.' I wonder when I'll ever get peace, I guess I'll get it when I'm dead. What was the Kat Stacks situation like, the things she was saying about him?
Bow: It's easy to deal with something that never happened. I've been in the game long enough, I'm a vet. I done heard it all, done it all. I can't handle shorty if she got a kid and gotta lie on rappers..
What about the Raz B situation?
Bow: A lot of these young cats have no guidance. They wasn't surrounded by official dudes who got that respect. It all starts with your camp and who you run with. Me it was a different story, so I aint got them problems. I was around some OG's in the game, whether it was Snoop, who discovered me, then Jermaine [Dupri] and now Stunna. So I aint around no suckas, I never been around no suckas. If you got some squares in your camp then you gotta get rid of that. I feel sorry for dude, I feel like it's a better way he could probably go about his situation. If it's that serious, then it's a better way you can handle thatRead more…

Video After The JumpBristol Palin can't catch a break these days. She was widely criticized for her performance on Dancing With The Stars.
Although she made the finals, most people believe it was because her mom Sarah's, Tea Party followers were voting for her en masse.
Comedian Kathy Griffin took aim at Bristol on 'VH1 Divas: Salute the Troops' broadcoast.
"Were gonna talk about Dancing With The Stars. We got two words - Bristol Palin. She's the only contestant in the history of the show to actually gain weight," Griffin joked. "She gained like 30 pounds a week, it was fantastic. She's like the white Precious."
Of course Griffin was referring to actress Gabourey Sidibe, who played the lead role in the film 'Precious.'
The joke drew lots of boos from the audience.
Bristol responded to the attack by telling Fox News, “The audience's reaction to this ‘comedian’ spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too. I hope people didn't have to pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms.
Was the joke funny to you guys?

George Lopez had a blast with guest Nicki Minaj yesterday.
The Lopez Tonight host got his man boobs signed by the Young Money starlet, which seemed to make his night.
Nicki also breaks down all of her alter egos. # 1 is Nicki, # 2 is Roman, a mean gay boy who says all of the things Nicki can't. # 3 is Martha who is Roman's mother. And just got George, Nicki created a new alter ego named Rosa.
The two talked about the magical powers Nicki's butt possesses. Apparently her a** is so irresistible people can't stop themselves from touching it. As witnessed recently by Rihanna and Regis Philbin grabbing a handful of it.
To stop anymore unwanted a*ss groping George gave Nicki a Butt protector, lol.
Nicki then performed "Moment For Life" off of her new 'Pink Friday' album.

Michael Jackson wasn’t known for his collaborations with rappers, aside from his songs "This Time Around" and "Unbreakable" with Notorious B.I.G. He did occasionally borrow from hip-hop–Heavy D appeared on his 1991 song “Jam”–but he mostly focused on pop. He was the “King of Pop,” after all.
Jackson’s coming posthumous album “Michael,” due out Dec. 14, features an unlikely guest star: 50 Cent. The rapper and Jackson appear on the track “Monster.” How did this come about? Was this some pairing dreamed up by marketers after Jackson’s death last year?
According to producer Teddy Riley, who worked on “Monster” and produced some of Jackson’s work when he was alive, the pop star was fascinated by 50 Cent. He was particularly interested the rapper’s colorful life history–the stories of shooters trying and failing to kill him, and the gossipy coverage of his private affairs by the hip-hop press. “Michael wanted 50 Cent on a record with him,” Riley says.
Riley says that Jackson reached out to 50 Cent about working together. After Jackson’s passing, the hip-hop star recorded the rap that appears on “Monster.” 50 Cent tweeted “michael reached out to me to do this song before he passed it going to be the biggest thing ever. hes the one we got our idea from.

The recording industry can be treacherous for new artists. Record labels and crooked managers often prey on the uniformed. However, if they are lucky enough to survive those initial years in the business and get out of bad contracts - artists generally gain a lot of valuable knowledge, and should fare much better in future deals.
Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas is an exception to that rule. Although we haven't heard about her having to deal with bad contracts yet. The singer admits that after 26 years, she's learned next to nothing about the business side of the industry. Instead she relies on her parents, lawyers and a therapist to insure she doesn't get taken advantage of.
"Well, I'm still learning about the music business because it's changing. There are all these different things coming up because of technology. It was a different world back then; it was very straight and simple: You got a record deal, you made an album, you got new fans. Now it's all these 360 deals and all these different... You know what? The business side of it? That's not my cup of tea. Will.I.Am's great at it. He thrives on it. It's just not my personality. I want to get straight to the art. The other part of it? I have my business team explain it to me. I actually have conference calls where I have my mom and dad on the phone, my accountant, my lawyer... Once in a while, I even have my therapist on these calls," she told BillboardI'm not kidding. Because there's so much smoke... I'm very cut to the chase; that's my personality. I don't like to speak in circles. So when people do that I'm trying to find out, "OK, guys, what are we really talking about here?" So my therapist listens in. Because it's very important to make informed decisions. I can be very impulsive, which is great as an artist but not as a businesswoman. So I have to slow down and surround myself with a great support team. So that's what I've learned, that I need to surround myself with a team that can help me. It's part of knowing that you don't know it all."
Hopefully Fergie's people are looking out for her best interests. I'd hate to hear about her being broke in the future because of mismanagement.
