George Floyd's young daughter, her mother & their legal team are preparing to wage legal war against Kanye West ... announcing they'll sue him for a quarter of a billion dollars after his recent comments on Floyd's death.

Roxie Washington, the mother of Floyd's only daughter Gianna, announced Tuesday she's hired a team of lawyers to go after Ye, his business partners & his associates for harassment, misappropriation, defamation & infliction of emotional distress. They're seeking $250 million in damages.

The family's attorneys also say they fired off a cease  desist letter to Kanye over his comments about Floyd's fatal interaction with Minneapolis police.

The letter reads, in part, "Mr. Floyd’s cause of death is well-settled through evidence presented in courts of law during the criminal & civil trials that were the result of his untimely & horrific death. Nevertheless, you have maliciously made statements that are inaccurate & unfounded, causing damage to Mr. Floyd’s estate & his family."

Kanye's taken a ton of heat for comments he made on an episode of "Drink Champs," claiming George died from a fentanyl overdose & pre-existing conditions, instead of Derek Chauvin's knee on his neck.

The Floyd family says Kanye's statements are "blatantly false" and "malicious" & they say Gianna is being "retraumatized" by Kanye's comments, which they say are "creating an unsafe & unhealthy environment for her."

In the cease and desist, the family's lawyers demand Kanye remove the interview & all of his similar statements on George from the Internet & keep Floyd's name out of his mouth.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Danny Masterson, former star of the long-running sitcom “That ’70s Show,” is about to face 3 women in court who say he raped them 2 decades ago at a trial whose key figures are all current or former members of the Church of Scientology.

Opening statements could begin as early as Tuesday in the Los Angeles trial of the 46-year-old Masterson & while a judge has expressed her determination not to have the church become the center of the proceedings, it will inevitably loom large.

Masterson is charged with raping the women between 2001 & 2003 in his home, which functioned as a social hub when he was at the height of his fame. Masterson has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

One of the women had been Masterson’s longtime girlfriend. Another was a longtime friend & the third a newer acquaintance.

All 3 were members of the Church of Scientology, as Masterson still is. All 3 accusers have since left & they said the church’s insistence that it deal internally with problems between members made them hesitant at first to go to authorities.

“This is not going to become a trial on Scientology,” Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo asserted at a pre-trial hearing. But she said she would allow its discussion as a reason why the women delayed reporting to authorities.

Online shoppers hoping to score some Jeffrey Dahmer-inspired gear for Halloween are now officially out of luck ... because eBay has pulled the plug on costume pieces paying homage to the serial killer.

A spokesperson for eBay tells TMZ ... the company has policies that prohibit listings glorifying hate, violence & criminal activities.

The official policy, listed on their site, says there's no space for "items closely associated with or that benefit violent felons, their acts, or crime scenes within the past 100 years."

We're told eBay is constantly sweeping the site ... looking for similar listings that also violate policies.

TOMBLL, Texas (KTRK) -- A mother accused of killing her 5-year-old daughter in Tomball is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Melissa White Towne allegedly told police she murdered her daughter because she thought the child was evil.

The details of what happened to the child are gruesome & disturbing. The alleged crime shocked everyone who knew the child.

In pictures, 5-year-old Nichole Bradshaw was always smiling, but authorities said the end of her life was horrific.

During a hearing, prosecutors said the girl screamed out “I’ve been good,” as her mother was killing her. Towne told police it took her 30 to 45 minutes to kill her child.

Her mother allegedly told police she killed the girl because her daughter was "evil & didn't want anything to do with her anymore."

Child Protective Services confirmed that Towne had prior dealings with the agency & did not have custody of Nichole.

Investigators are now trying to figure out how Towne managed to get Nichole the day of the murder.

Meanwhile, the child's family is heartbroken.

"She didn't deserve, she had not even had a chance to live," Amber Bradshaw, Nichole's aunt, said. "She never hurt anybody. She would step around an ant. She loved animals."

Towne faces a charge of capital murder & is set to appear before a judge at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

N.O.R.E. called "The Breakfast Club" on Monday morning to apologize multiple times for the comments Kanye West made about George Floyd on the latest episode of "Drink Champs."

The "Drink Champs" host was in full damage control mode -- claiming he didn't know Ye's statements were going to be extremely hurtful to listeners.

N.O.R.E. says he later checked Kanye for the GF & "White Lives Matter" remarks later in the interview ... but says he was too drunk to make an impactful moment. He also claimed to have uploaded the wrong edit without combing through it ... an error he says the team will correct in the future.

The veteran rapper shamelessly admitted he didn't want Ye to walk out of the interview if he was silenced ... à la "The Breakfast Club's" infamous Birdman interview where he cursed them out and demanded "Respek."

BC further grilled N.O.R.E. on why he conducted the interview to start ... citing Tucker Carlson & HBO's 'The Shop's recent debacles.

N.O.R.E. defended his show's position, noting the show isn't named "Think Champs" to stage political theater ... but says his relationship with Ye is solid & wanted to give him the courtesy to speak.

He also noted that Loud Records founder Steve Rifkind and several other Jewish associates of his were in the room & used them as gauge meters for Ye's anti-Semitic rants.

Charlamagne seized an opportunity to hit him with a "told-you-so" zinger ... to which N.O.R.E. copped to, admitting he failed as a journalist.

Following the interview, George Floyd family attorney Lee Merritt says they're looking into potential lawsuits to thwart Kanye's comments ... another reason for N.O.R.E. to backpedal like a strong safety.

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) — 2 children were shot by 1 another's fathers during a road rage incident on a Florida highway.

Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said a 5-year-old girl was shot in the leg and a 14-year-old girl was shot in the back, causing a collapsed lung. He said their injuries were not life-threatening.

There could have been two dead kids because of two stupid grown men,” Leeper said at a news conference Monday.

William Hale, 35, of Douglas, Georgia, & Frank Allison, 43, of Callahan, Florida, have been charged with attempted murder.

Police said the shootings happened Saturday on U.S. Route 1 near Jacksonville around 6 p.m. EDT.

Both men then stopped driving and began arguing, according to police.

A deputy broke up the fight, called fire rescue & the men were charged.

Kanye West is talking again & this time he's saying A LOT with very pointed thoughts on George Floyd in particular.

The guy sat down with N.O.R.E. for a new interview on 'Drink Champs' and, including the fact that he's buying what Candace Owens is selling in her new doc 'The Greatest Lie Ever Sold,' which is about BLM.

Namely, Kanye repeats a point Candace makes ... which is that, from her POV, George Floyd actually died as a result of a drug overdose & other preexisting conditions like heart disease -- as opposed to Derek Chauvin pinning him down for upwards of 9 minutes.

It's something Chauvin's defense attorney argued in court as well, despite expert witnesses testifying & refuting that ... which the jury ultimately believed through their verdict.

He also references Jews several times, again perpetuating anti-Semitic tropes that they "run the media" & are out to paint him as an abuser ... something he resents. Ye also called PD a "heroin addict" & decried the recent fireplace tidbit played up on "The Kardashians."

KW went after some of his own peers in the rap game as well ... Puff & Meek, specifically. He called them fake hard & seemed to suggest 1 or both of them were a "fed."

Lastly, Kanye suggested that Drake has banged Kris Jenner at one point or another. He also called Drake the greatest rapper ever.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Battle rapper Tsu Surf is facing federal drug trafficking charges and other related counts following his arrest this week at a home in northern New Jersey,

The rapper, whose real name is Rahjon Cox, made his initial court appearance Friday but did not enter a plea. WNYW-TV in New York reported that Cox told the judge he had hired an attorney to represent him but the lawyer could not make the hearing, so the judge allowed another lawyer to fill in on Friday.

Cox is among 10 people who were recently indicted on racketeering charges. They are allegedly members of a New Jersey-based Crips gang set known as the Silverbacc Gorillas or “SBG.”

U.S. marshals arrested the rapper Thursday afternoon at a home in Jersey City.

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey did not immediately respond to a message sent late Friday afternoon seeking comment.
