Nobody in the industry outworked Big T in 2016. The Chicago native continues to prove that there are some battle rappers that can transition from trading bars onstage with the competition, to sliding into the recording booth to make official hip hop songs.

With that in mind, check out his music video for "Grind for It."

Video And Pics After The Jump

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Ronda Rousey's UFC comeback didn't even last a minute.

Rousey was stopped 48 seconds into her first fight in 13 months Friday night, losing to bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207.

Rousey (12-2) never managed to get her footing against Nunes (14-4), who rocked Rousey with her very first punches. Rousey showed little defensive acumen as she staggered and stumbled backward with Nunes relentlessly pursuing her and landing 27 punches in the brief bout.

"Forget about Ronda Rousey!" Nunes shouted to the sellout crowd. "She's going to go do movies. Forget about her. She has a lot of money already."

Indeed, Rousey's future in the sport is clearly in question. The biggest star in the women's game, who left the arena without giving an interview, is likely considering retirement shortly before her 30th birthday.

12352479670?profile=original

"That's it for her," Nunes said. "For sure, she's going to retire."

12352480072?profile=original

Referee Herb Dean stopped the bout with Rousey still on her feet, and Rousey briefly protested the stoppage before leaving the cage in her mother's arms. Nunes put her finger to her lips and circled the cage after the stoppage, pausing to taunt Rousey's much-maligned coach, Edmond Tarverdyan.

12352480674?profile=original

"Her coach put some crazy things in her head, and her career started going down," Nunes said. "I'm the real striker here."

Cody Garbrandt won the men's bantamweight title in the penultimate bout at UFC 207, battering champion Dominick Cruz to earn a surprising decision victory at T-Mobile Arena in the promotion's traditional end-of-the-year show in its hometown.

But the sellout crowd left shocked when Rousey couldn't compete in her first fight since losing her belt to Holly Holm 13 months ago in her first career defeat.

12352481255?profile=original

Rousey became arguably the world's most famous female athlete and a combat sports trailblazer while she rocketed atop the UFC, but a year away from the sport apparently did little to heal the holes in her game. She made a guaranteed $3 million for her comeback bout, while Nunes' guaranteed payday was just $200,000.

12352481290?profile=original

"I knew I was going to beat (Rousey)," Nunes said. "I'm the best on the planet."

Rousey hadn't fought since November 2015, when Holly Holm stopped her with a head kick in one of the biggest upsets in MMA history. Rousey had never lost or been in much trouble while the former Olympic judo medalist earned a series of one-sided victories, but Holm's veteran striking made Rousey look unprepared.

Rousey's return fight was similar, but even quicker.

Nunes claimed the belt at UFC 200 in July with a violent stoppage of Miesha Tate, who had beaten Holm in March. Nunes made an impressive ascent after losing three fights earlier in her career to opponents beaten easily by Rousey.

Rousey nearly vanished from public view after her first loss, taking time away from the gym and attending to her acting career. The UFC also was sold during her absence to WME-IMG, the entertainment conglomerate that also represents Rousey's career.

But Rousey refused to promote this pay-per-view show, leaving Cruz, Garbrandt and Nunes to do most of the work. While Rousey's media blackout will hurt her cut of the pay-per-view revenue, it didn't affect her guaranteed payday, which matched Conor McGregor for the biggest disclosed check in UFC history.

Earlier, Garbrandt (11-0) remained unbeaten with a virtuoso performance to claim the belt held for the past 11 months by Cruz (22-2), who ended up with a gaping cut over his left eye.

12352482253?profile=original

Garbrandt used precise striking, multiple takedowns and remarkable charisma to win over the judges, who all favored him by scores of 48-46, 48-46 and 48-47.

12352482282?profile=original

Cruz hadn't lost an MMA fight since March 24, 2007, winning 13 straight bouts in a career marked by multiple comebacks from major injuries.

The 25-year-old Garbrandt is a native of Uhrichsville, Ohio, who trains in the Sacramento-area gym of veteran fighter Urijah Faber.

Cruz and Garbrandt taunted each other repeatedly during the promotion of their bout, and their genuine dislike translated into a frenzied five-round fight. Garbrandt lived up to his boundless promise with a resourceful effort against Cruz, who was favored to defend his belt.

"If you don't lose, you don't grow," Cruz said. "We're all competitors here, and it's a game of inches. He beat me by a couple of inches tonight, and that's OK. ... There wasn't one second of this fight I wasn't trying to win. I chased him around the cage the whole night."

While Cruz threw 100 more strikes, Garbrandt landed a higher percentage of his shots and did more damage.

Both fighters landed significant strikes in the first two rounds, but Garbrandt turned the fight in his favor early in the third during the exchange that opened the cut on Cruz's face.

Garbrandt put on a performance in the fourth round, repeatedly knocking down Cruz when he wasn't dancing away from the champion.

After receiving his belt, Garbrandt wrapped it around the waist of Maddux Maple, a 10-year-old leukemia survivor from northern Ohio who has been his motivational talisman.

Garbrandt's first title defense could be against T.J. Dillashaw, who dominated John Lineker in a unanimous-decision victory moments earlier at UFC 207, winning 30-26 on all three cards. Dillashaw (15-3) showed off precise striking and a superior ground game to trounce the Brazilian brawler.

"Come try me!" Garbrandt shouted at Dillashaw afterward.

Video After The Jump

Azealia Banks has often referred to the use of witchcraft. Not everyone took her seriously. However, on Friday, December 30, the rapper posted an Instagram video that will probably go a long way towards convincing people that she's literally been practicing what she preaches.

12352477687?profile=original

In the clip the 25-year old Harlem, New York native is wearing a blue scarf, a mask over her mouth and goggles. She's holding a sandblaster and points the camera towards a closet that looks like something out of a horror movie.

The floor and walls are covered in a dark blood stains and what appears to be feathers.

12352478656?profile=original

"The amount of crap that's about to come off my floor right now guys ... oh my God," she says in the video. "Three years worth of brujeria. You know I gotta scrape all this shit up. I got my sandblaster, my goggles. It's about to go down. Real witches do real things."

Banks then goes to work cleaning up the mess before the clip ends.

Brujeria is Spanish for witchcraft.

The Practice of Brujeria via Encyclopedia.com

"Among certain Hispanic and Native American cultures of the Southwest, the practice of Burjeria is feared as a manifestation of evil. Those who use rituals, spells, incantations, potions, and powders to work ill against others are known as brujas (witches), who are primarily female in number (the male witch is known as a brujo). All the negative facets of witchcraft feared by people throughout the world are practiced by the brujas: manifesting the evil eye, casting spells to cause physical or mental illness, bringing about bad luck, even death. The brujas create dolls in which they insert bits of the victim's hair, fingernail clippings, or pieces of clothing and focus their evil intent upon the miniature representative of the person to be cursed. If an Anglo doctor with modern medical techniques cannot cure someone who has fallen suddenly ill, a bruja is suspected as being the cause of the problem.

Brujas are also thought to be accomplished shapeshifters, possessing the supernatural ability to transform themselves into owls, coyotes, or cats. In the form of an animal, they may spy upon potential victims and may even administer a potion into their unsuspecting quarry's food or water or hide a bad-luck charm on his or her premises. There are certain amulets or rituals that offer some protection from the brujas, but the only sure way to rid oneself of their evil deeds is to employ the services of a curandero. Sometimes the curandero is able to contact the bruja through supernatural means and demand that the curse or spell be removed. In more severe cases, the curandero may have to direct a spell toward the bruja and defeat her on the spiritual level in order to force her to remove the evil directed toward the victim."

Well, damn!

Pioneering rap group Run-DMC has hit Jet, Amazon and Wal-Mart with a $50 million lawsuit,

NBC reports that the retail outlets are accused of illegally "advertising, selling, manufacturing, promoting and distributing multiple products" in the group's trademarked name.

73791192?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

Items allegedly being sold include glasses, patches, hats, t-shirts, wallets and other items.

The suit, which was filed Thursday, December 29, in the Southern District of New York, lists group member Darryl "DMC" McDaniels as the plaintiff.

It states that Amazon, Wal-Mart and Jet are violation of federal trademark and New York unfair competition laws. The companies are accused improperly profiting, diluting and harming the Run-DMC brand by duping customers into believing the items being sold are endorsed by the band.

Run-DMC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. In 2010 Rolling Stone ranked them 48th on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of all time.

The group was founded in 1981 by McDaniels, Joseph "Run" Simmons and Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell.

Jay died in 2002 after being shot at a Queens, New York recording studio.

Simmons and McDaniels later disbanded the group.

Their hit records include "It's Tricky," "Walk This Way," "Rock Box," "It's Like That," "Sucker MC's," "King of Rock," "My Adidas," "Mary, Mary" and "Down with the King."

The group's legitimate merchandise has generated more than $100 million in sales.

Video After The Jump

HONOLULU (AP) — In a sweeping response to election hacking and other meddlesome behavior, President Barack Obama on Thursday sanctioned Russian intelligence services and their top officials, kicked out 35 Russian officials and closed down two Russian-owned compounds in the U.S. It was the strongest action the Obama administration has taken to date to retaliate for a cyberattack.

"All Americans should be alarmed by Russia's actions," Obama said. He added: "Such activities have consequences."

In a bid to expose Moscow's cyber aggression, the U.S. also released a detailed report about Russia's hacking infrastructure that it said was designed to help computer specialists prevent more hacking. And Obama said more action was coming.

"These actions are not the sum total of our response to Russia's aggressive activities," Obama said in a statement released while he was vacationing in Hawaii. The U.S. has previously left open the possibility it could mount a retaliatory strike.

The spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin said the new sanctions were a sign of Obama's "unpredictable and, if I may say, aggressive foreign policy" and were aimed at undermining President-elect Donald Trump.

12352487099?profile=original

"We think that such steps by a U.S. administration that has three weeks left to work are aimed at two things: to further harm Russian-American ties, which are at a low point as it is, as well as, obviously, to deal a blow to the foreign policy plans of the incoming administration of the president-elect," Dmitry Peskov told reporters in Moscow.

Ahead of the announcement, Russia's foreign ministry had threatened to retaliate against American diplomats if the U.S. took action against Russian officials.

The White House has promised to release a report before Obama leaves office detailing Russia's cyber interference in U.S. elections, a move that could address Russia's complaints that the U.S. hasn't shown proof of its involvement. But the U.S. moved forward with the response Thursday even as the report has yet to be released.

Still, Obama administration officials said the list of entities Obama was sanctioning made clear who exactly the U.S. believes was behind hacking of Democratic groups and the theft of emails from Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman.

12352487282?profile=original

Obama ordered sanctions against two Russian intelligence services, the GRU and the FSB, plus companies which the U.S. says support the GRU. The cybersecurity firm hired by the Democratic National Committee to investigate theft of its emails determined earlier this year the hacking came from the Fancy Bear group, believed to be affiliated with the GRU.

The sanctions freeze any assets the entities or individuals have in the United States, and also block Americans from doing business with them. It wasn't immediately clear what impact they would have on the intelligence services' operations.

The FSB is Russia's main domestic and counter-terrorism intelligence agency. It was formed following the Soviet collapse when the KGB was split into the FSB and the foreign intelligence agency SVR. The GRU is the Russian military intelligence agency.

The president also sanctioned Lt. Gen. Korobov, the head of the GRU, and three of his deputies. Other individuals sanctioned include Alexei Belan and Yevgeny Bogachev, two Russian nationals who have been wanted by the FBI for cyber crimes for years.

Obama's move puts Trump in the position of having to decide whether to roll back the measures once in office, and U.S. officials acknowledged that Trump could use his executive authorities to do so.

U.S. allegations of hacking during the campaign have ignited a heated debate over Trump's approach to Russia and his refusal to accept the assessment of U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia's government was responsible and wanted to help him win. Though U.S. lawmakers have long called for Obama to be tougher on Russia, some Republicans have found that position less tenable now that Trump is floating the possibility of closer ties to Moscow.

"While today's action by the administration is overdue, it is an appropriate way to end eight years of failed policy with Russia," said House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis.

Obama said the hacking "could only have been directed by the highest levels of the Russian government," a contention the U.S. has used to suggest Putin was personally involved.

Although the White House announced at the same time it was kicking out Russian officials and closing facilities, it said those were responses to other troubling Russian behavior: harassment of U.S. diplomats by Russian personnel and police.

The 35 Russian diplomats being kicked out are intelligence operatives, Obama said. They were declared "persona non grata," and they were given 72 hours to leave the country. The State Department declined to identify them.

The two compounds being closed down are recreational facilities owned by Russia's government, one in Maryland and one in New York, the U.S. said. The White House said Russia had been notified that Russia would be denied access to the sites starting noon on Friday.

Russian officials have denied the Obama administration's accusation that the Russian government was involved at the highest levels in trying to influence the U.S. presidential election. U.S. intelligence agencies concluded that Russia's goal was to help Trump win — an assessment Trump has dismissed as ridiculous.

Soulja Boy recently sat down with VladTV to detail what happened when several people broke into his Atlanta mansion following the release of his second album.

He talks about shooting one of the men, even after realizing that he knew him.

"I'm in the studio listening to some beats. All I hear is [a loud noise]. I instantly stopped the music. My partner say 'Who the fuck in this crib?' Arab passed me the pistol. I look through the door. I see like 3 or 4 niggas running through the crib ... all black masks on," Soulja says. "One nigga run to the front door. I hop out and start shooting. Shot the nigga. All the niggas run out the door. This nigga [I shot] on the floor. Walked up to this nigga, take his mask off his head. Looked at him and saw who it was. I'm like, 'Damn.' Shot his ass again. He screaming and shit. I knew who it was."

Trey Songz lost his cool in a major way at the end of his performance in Detroit Wednesday night, December 28, at the annual "Big Show at the Joe" concert.

The 32-year old singer, born Tremaine Neversonbecame “upset and belligerent” after he was told to leave the stage before he finished his set,.according to Detroit Police Department spokesman, Officer Dan Donakowski.

"He was told his set was over, that he would have to get off the stage," Donakowski told the Detroit Free Press. "At which time, he became irate and started throwing objects (from) the stage; speakers, microphones, anything he could get his hands on."

A cop from the Gang Intelligence Unit, who was assigned to the event, was injured by a flying object as he tried to calm Songz down. The officer was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

"They say they gon' cut my mic off 'cause I'm taking too much time. If they cut me off remember it and text whoever you want to, and tweet whoever you want to, and tell everybody. 'Cause if a nigga cut me off I'm going the fuck crazy," the "Say Aah" hit maker told the crowd inside the Joe Louis Arena prior to his meltdown.

Songz was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property and for resisting and obstructing arrest.

He's currently being held at at the Detroit Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
