The "Can't Let You Go" hit maker has been formally charged with one count each of aggravated assault and making a terroristic threat. Both are third-degree felonies. Fabolous is staring at three to five years in prison and a maximum fine of $15,000 dollars for each charge, if found guilty.

As we previously reported, Fabolous,  born John David Jackson, turned himself in to police in Englewood, New Jersey Wednesday, March 28, He was cited and was given a ticket to appear in court later this month. The rapper is accused of punching Emily seven times in the face, knocking out several teeth.

Video later surfaced showing him arguing with Emily, her father and brother. At one point the Brooklyn, New York native tells the father he has a gun "with bullets with your name on them."

(Washington Times) Boxing’s projected fight of the year is officially off.

Lawyers for Mexican fighter Saul “Canelo” Alvarez told reporters Tuesday afternoon in Los Angeles that his planned rematch with Gennady Golovkin has been canceled.

“Canelo and his attorney speaking to media at Golden Boy offices in LA and announce the May 5 fight with GGG is off!” wrote ESPN’s Dan Rafael.

Alvarez had failed two tests for the performance-enhancing drug Clenbuterol in February, which he and his promoters blamed on eating contaminated meat in Mexico.

But the Nevada State Athletic Commission — the fight had been set for May 5 in Las Vegas — refused to give him a mulligan, instead formally filing a complaint, kicking off a process that could lead to his worldwide suspension and, regardless of the outcome, could not possibly wrap up before May 5.

Wu-Tang members join forces in U-God’s new video for “Epicenter,” the DJ Green Lantern produced single from U-God's new album Venom.  The video features U-God, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Jackpot Scotty Wotty, traveling the globe and representing Wu-Tang Worldwide.  2018 marks Wu-Tang Clan’s 25th Anniversary as the Clan reunites for the “Epicenter” video.   “Epicenter” is one of my most creative visuals to date; we went wild with our imaginations to make a video that had no creative boundaries. I believe it ranks up there with some of the CLAN's early videos, which were so cutting edge and push the envelope to the max” U-God stated to Rolling Stone.

“Epicenter” is featured on U-God’s new solo album Venom, which was released on 3-30-18 via Babygrande Records.  This is the founding member’s fifth studio album and features appearances and production from Raekwon, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Large Professor, Lord Finesse and Green Lantern.

HOUSTON (Click2Houston) - A video that surfaced on social media during the weekend showed what led up to when police say a gun went off in a car, shooting a man in the head.

The shooting was reported about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a Valero gas station at Almeda Road and Southmore Boulevard.

Houston police said that three people were inside the car while the man, identified by friends as Devyn Holmes, 26, and a woman were playing with two handguns. The gun fired, hitting Holmes in the head, police said.

A video that was posted originally posted on Facebook and then on Instagram showed what happened before the gun fired. Friends confirmed that Holmes is seen in the video, wearing a white shirt and talking to a woman and another man that is in the car with him. A few seconds later, the woman is seen pointing a gun at the camera and waving it around in the car.

“You’re making me nervous,” Holmes is heard saying as he tries to still the woman’s hand who is handling the gun.

“It ain’t got no clip, bud,” the other man is heard saying.

A second later, the gun fired. Holmes slumped over and blood can be seen on his shirt.

The woman, who police identified as Cassandra Damper, 25, told police that she believed the weapons were unloaded, investigators said.

Police said Damper was arrested after she tried to wipe off any gunshot residue that may have been on her hands. She was charged with tampering or fabricating of evidence.

The other man in the video has not been charged.

Holmes was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he is on life-support, police said.

Police said the case will be referred to a grand jury to see if any additional charges will be filed.

Meek Mill will have to wait a while longer to get out of prison because Philadelphia Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley has denied his request for bail.

Brinkley is the same judge who sentenced Meek to 2-4 years in prison for violating his probation stemming from a 2008 drug and gun conviction. This is the second time she has denied the "Dreams and Nightmares" hit maker bail.

As we previously reported, because of alleged corruption by the officer who originally arrested the rapper, Philadelphia's District Attorney believes the 30-year old's conviction will eventually be thrown out.

Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ:

"This ruling from Judge Genece Brinkley simply reaffirms the fact she has turned Meek Mill's case into a personal vendetta. In spite of the recommendations from the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, which was supported by Governor Tom Wolf, the judge continues to stand alone in supporting Officer Reginald Graham's perjured testimony as well as his criminal behavior that has been documented."

Meek's legal team is appealing to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in an attempt to secure his release.

(ESPN) A highly anticipated lightweight title fight between interim champion Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov has been canceled just six days before it was supposed to headline UFC 223 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

UFC president Dana White told ESPN on Sunday that Ferguson (23-3) has withdrawn from the bout due to a torn knee ligament. In a Twitter post, Ferguson wrote that he suffered the injury in an accident on a studio set while fulfilling his prefight media obligations on Friday.

Featherweight champion Max Holloway (19-3) has agreed to take Ferguson's place and will face Nurmagomedov (25-0) for the lightweight title. The 155-pound bout will still headline UFC 223 on April 7.

"He's a stud," White said of Holloway accepting the bout on short notice. "The guy hasn't lost a fight since 2013, and that was a decision to Conor McGregor.

"He's the type of guy that steps up for opportunities like this. And when you think about it, if he wins this fight, other than Conor McGregor, he will be the only guy to hold two belts at the same time."

As of today, McGregor (21-3) remains the UFC's official lightweight champion, but he is expected to lose that title as soon as Nurmagomedov and Holloway square off. McGregor became a two-weight champion in late 2016 but has not fought in the UFC since.

White said the promotion did not reach out to McGregor as a potential replacement for Ferguson. McGregor expressed interest last month in returning on short notice against Frankie Edgar at UFC 222, but the promotion doesn't want to bring its top star back under those circumstances.

"I don't think Conor McGregor could make the weight on six days' notice. That's a tough weight cut for him," White said. "And Conor is not the guy I want to throw in as a late replacement fighter. He's a guy I want to make a fight with and have the right amount of time to promote the fight.

"I think Conor could return in September, and it could be against one of these guys."

Per White, Ferguson is expected to lose his interim title, which he won by defeating Kevin Lee at UFC 216 in October.

"That goes away," White said. "This fight is for the title. The winner of this fight will be the champion."

Nurmagomedov, of Dagestan, is on a nine-fight winning streak at lightweight, while Holloway, of Hawaii, has won 12 in a row in the UFC's featherweight division.

Nurmagomedov has opened as a minus-505 betting favorite against Holloway (plus-365), according to MMAOddsBreaker.com.

The UFC has tried to pair Ferguson and Nurmagomedov on four occasions, all of which have fallen through for various reasons. When asked if he would be willing to book the fight a fifth time, White responded, "Hell no."
