Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee, better known as Rae Sremmurd, stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about their upcoming triple-disc album SR3MM. Taking inspiration from Outkast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, both Jxmmi and Swae Lae are putting out solo projects. Jxmmi's is titled Jxmtro and Swae Lae's is titled Swaecation. The third disc of the project will feature both of them. Known for their young, wild antics (the two have been compared to 90s duo Kriss Kross), the two talked about respecting women, Swae Lee's girlfriend drama, their crazy house parties, inspiration from Three 6 Mafia, and more.
Blunt in hand, Swae Lee explained giving French Montana his biggest hit to date, "Unforgettable," and why he would let such a banger go. "I'm just in the music cooking up process," Swae said. He's clearly not worried and has more hits in store."I'm working every day...I got a million of them, I make them every day. I stay in the studio."
Swae Lee's name has been in the news after his girlfriend jumped and robbed his alleged side chick. It was all caught on camera. "That was just a little brief period there," Swae explained. "That situation was crazy, I don't endorse no violence. The media, the blogs exaggerate a lot of shit." He's not letting the drama get to him. "Just know my life flow smooth," Swae calmly said.
The two live in a house together which has become notorious for their crazy house parties. The duo also recorded the majority of SR3MM there. "The house parties start at 12 o'clock every night. They not stopping till 5 in the morning," Jxmmi said. "We just chillin and smoking and we got 30 girls in the crib... maybe we in the studio. It's just some lit s**t every day." When asked what the craziest moment they've ever had happen at their crib, Swae Lee's answer was a bit shocking. "My (pet) monkey s**t in a girl's bra on time," Swae explained.
A criticism the group receives is that Swae Lee is the main draw and Jxmmi doesn't pull his own weight. Charlamagne asked Jxmmi what his thoughts on getting that negative feedback. "We been in this group for over 10 years, bro. I've been hearing the same thing for many years," he said. "At first it kind of affected me but once you get past that little part... I'm not to go on Twitter on some "I'm about to kill myself," hell nah." Slim Jxmmi then responded to the haters in a beautiful way: "At the end of the day, f**k you, sremm life, aye, srkt srkt, and then I'm gone."
Charlamage also brought up Three 6 Mafia and how Rae Sremmurd's club-ready, party tracks remind him of the Southern hip-hop legends. "We from Tupelo, they from Memphis. That's an hour away," Jxmmi said. "We used to bang Three 6 and Three 6 used to come on in the club a lot too where we was at."
When asked what they learned from Three 6 Mafia, Swae Lee put it best: "stay consistent."

Toronto Raptors super-fan Drake has received a warning from the NBA about "the use of bad language," according to ESPN.
The 31-year old rapper got into an argument with Cleveland Cavaliers player Kendrick Perkins during game one of teams' playoff series, and allegedly called him a "fucking pussy."
Perkins, who stands 6-foot-10 and weighs 270 lbs, told ESPN that Drake wasn't going to stop him from doing his job.
"I'm here to represent the Cleveland Cavaliers," he said. "At the end of the day, it isn't about Perk versus Drake; that doesn't even sound right. It's the Cleveland Cavaliers versus the Toronto Raptors. Besides, what could he possibly do to me? I mean, really. If he leaves me alone, I'll leave him alone, and that's all there is."
Drake, born Aubrey Graham, isn't going to go away, but he'd be wise to tone it down before the league bans him from the games.

Born May 27th, 1992 in Florida but moved to Atlanta at a young age Jermaine Grier A.k.a Jay Raw is a up and coming artist. Jay was the oldest out of his 5 brothers and sisters, they grew up in a broken home his parents split and his father moved to Florida when he was only 2 years old. Growing up his life was in a balance between being good and bad he had a lot of friends and was well known in his neighborhood which was located in East Atlanta in the Edgewood projects. He was being raised by his mother, her boyfriend and grandmother. It was a struggle due to him having to sleep in the same bed with all of his siblings and having to share 1 bathroom with the whole household. Jay grew up listening to T.I., Gucci Mane, Outkast, and Lil' Wayne just to name a few artists. He was inspired into doing music because of watching 2Pac, Gucci Mane, Michael Jordan, and Lil' Wayne.
Jay and his family stayed in Atlanta till he was 12 years old than moved with his family to Florida at 13 he chose to visit his father and was moving back and forth between his mothers and fathers house. He started getting into music as an artist at the age of 15 but didn't take it seriously till the age of 18. When starting out he would beat on desks due to him having anger issues one day his uncle told him the best way to relieve his anger was to write down how he was feeling at the time he was angry. He continued writing music for about 2 years till one of his friends named Tye introduced him to another friend who was a producer who had a studio, Jay asked him if he could come and check out his studio one day he said yes than after one month of waiting Jay finally went to his studio during that time the producer was working on a beat and played it for him to check out the producer told him to go ahead and rap so he picked a song from his notebook that he had wrote down and started rapping, once finished the producer started giving him feedback on bettering his style.
When he was 16 his mother kicked him out because he stopped going to high school, he chose to stay with his father which didn't last long due to him getting into trouble a lot and catching a case at 17 for battery on a leo and resisting arrest he went to jail for about a day or two before being released on own recognizance.
He caught many cases from 2007-2009 from failing to appear to attempted murder. At 20 years old he went to prison for catching a charge for attempted arson and was sentenced to 4 years in New River Work Camp & 4 years of probation. Once he was released from prison and successfully completed his probation he started going to the studio almost everyday.
At 24 years old he performed his first song titled "My Name" at a club in Gulfport, Florida which than led to 14 more continuous shows, he is working on releasing a mixtape scheduled for a summer release date titled "Raw Shit Volume 1". In March 2018 he ended up partnering with Colossal Music Group / Colossal Records based out of California and Florida. Jay Raw has a bright future ahead of him and plans on expanding his name and brand musically overseas.
TMZ reports the 28-year old rapper, born Gerald Earl Gillum, was acting aggressive while at a club in Stockholm. When asked to calm down by several security guards, G-Eazy allegedly starting throwing punches, hitting one of the men in the face several times.
When police arrived he was found to be in possession of cocaine and hauled off to jail.
The "No Limit" hit maker was charged with suspicion of assault, possession of narcotics and use of narcotics. He's still currently locked up.

“I gotta get Funkadelic on em,” says Dame Grease, producer of crucial tacks for Mase, The Lox, and the whole Ruff Ryders camp. When Dame accepted Mass Appeal’s Rhythm Roulette challenge, we knew we were in for a treat. Although he and his protege Swizz Beatz are known for a mostly sample-free sound, the Harlem-born and Bronx-raised producer can chop with the best of them. “Every producer knows you can look at the grooves and see where they thin out at,” Grease said while surveying three randomly selected vinyl albums. “That’s where the breakdown’s at.” Working his way through ‘Spinners Live,’ Jose Feliciano’s ’10 to 23,’ and ‘Romantic Swing’ by Eugen Cicero, Grease zeroed in on Feliciano’s 1969 version of ‘By the Time I Get to Phoenix’ because he used to live in Phoenix. “Let’s go straight to that,” Grease said, dropping the needle. “Groovy! That’s the one.” Check out the latest episode of Rhythm Roulette to find out how Dame Grease flipped that joint like it was meant to be.
