Video After The Jump

While in New York City recently Waka Flocka ran into a group of young skateboarders and hooked the entire crew up with brand new boards.

Pretty cool thing for Waka to do. Those kids certainly won't ever forget it.

Rap fans we've been hoodwinked.

Yesterday we reported that Soulja Boy had copped a G5 jet for $35 million, with plans to spend an additional $20 million more to customize it. Turns out the whole story was made up by Soulja and members of his team.

TMZ is reporting that Soulja, his assistant and a member of his management team Shai Storm, all confirmed he had purchased the jet as a gift to himself for his 21st birthday. But today Soulja's spokesperson Greg Miller, issued a statement admitting the story was made up.

"The elaborate rumors circulating about Soulja Boy purchasing a jet for his 21st birthday are grossly over exaggerated and are not true," Miller said according to the L.A. Times.

That's just bizarre... smh.

Eminem headlined Montreal's 6th annual Osheaga Music and Arts Festival last night (July 29), setting an attendance record in the process.

38,000 Canadians packed into Jean Drapeau Park to see Detroit's finest, and by all accounts he didn't disappoint.

During the show Em paid tribute the late, great West Coast singer Nate Dogg.

"I love Nate Dogg too man, and I actually had the privilege of working with Nate Dogg while he was still with us. And this right here is one of my favorite songs that me and him did together," Slim told the crowd before launching into their collaboration "Till I Collapse."

Video After The Jump

Prodigy of Mobb Deep has been one of the few rappers who hasn't been afraid to talk about the Illuminati in his songs. In this new interview with KarmaloopTV, P speaks on why he addresses such a controversial topic.

"I was reading a lot about the Illuminati, and the secret societies and religion," P said. "It got to the point where I learned so much and started to understand it, so I started putting it in my lyrics. It was just like mixing a little bit of medicine with the food. Give 'em a little bit of information in there amongst the hardcore, lifestyle sh*t that we used to be talking about... give 'em some real knowledge in there."

Peep the rest of the interview below as P talks about why he decided to design a skateboard for Bloodsport and spits some hot bars.

It's only been a couple of weeks since Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced they were ending their seven-year marriage, but rumors are already circulating that J-Lo is looking for love elsewhere.

BET.com is reporting that Lopez and Diddy are hooking back up again.

A source close to Diddy told BET that J-Lo is "the love of his life" and that he's ecstatic to be back with his "fantasy girl."

This latest development should not be a surprise to anyone that knows J-Lo's history with men. The American Idol judge has always seemed to have a back-up ready when she's grown tired of a relationship. The singer's marriage to Anthony was her third. She was previously married to Ojani Noa and Cris Judd. In 2004 she almost wed actor Ben Affleck.

Diddy and J-Lo's previous love affair took a major hit in December 27, 1999 when the two were at a Manhattan club with then Bad Boy artist Shyne, who fired gunshots injuring three people.

While leaving the scene, Diddy and J-Lo were stopped by police who found a gun inside their car. Diddy was charged with felony gun possession. Their relationship ended a year later. That obviously isn't stopping then from giving it another try, but people close to J-Lo aren't exactly happy about it.

"Puff wouldn't be my first choice for her, but then again he was always very supportive of her sex symbol image and never got mad when she wore sexy clothes. He actually encouraged it," sources told BET.

Video After The Jump

The rap game has been very good to Soulja Boy. The Atlanta rapper can afford luxuries most people can only dream about. His latest gift to himself is sure to even make rap's number one stunt king Birdman, do a double take.

TMZ is reporting that Soulja copped a $35 million dollar G5 jet for his 21st birthday.

Not satisfied with simply owning a jet, Soulja is going to spend an additional $20 million to trick it out to his specifications.

Additional luxuries will include a custom paint job with his logo, 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.

Well damn!

**UPDATE**

Soulja visited Miami radio station 99 Jamz yesterday and talked about copping the G5.
