Machine Gun Kelly may be a relative newcomer to the hip-hop community, but the Cleveland rapper does not lack in the confidence department.
With his Lace Up movement spreading across the country and a new contract from Bad Boy Records in his back pocket, MGK is making moves.
He already has an artist in mind if he were to ever drop a collaborative album.
"DMX... because he and I are the same when it comes to passion," Kelly says. "I think me and him, our stage presence is crazy--our enegy is crazy. We both have different voices than everybody else. We both have that 'f*ck you' mentality, but's all positive though."
Would you like to hear a DMX and MGK collaboration?

B.o.B is out to prove that there will be no sophomore jinx on his next album. The Atlanta rapper's debut album B.o.B. Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray spawned the hits "Airplanes," "Don't Let Me Fall" and "Nothin' On You" putting the Grand Hustle rapper on the map. Ice Cube is preparing to produce a new film about N.W.A., the legendary West Coast group he played an integral role in.
There's a strong possibility Cube will be reuniting with Boyz N the Hood director John Singleton for the project. Singleton told The Playlist that he and Cube have been in discussions.
“I can’t talk about it too prematurely about the stuff I’m doing because nothing’s come to fruition yet, but Cube and I are talking about doing the N.W.A. story,” Singleton said. “The script is really, really good, and so we’re just figuring it out. New Line really wants to make it.”
The role of the late Eazy E could wind up being played by the late rapper's son Eric Wright Jr. aka Lil' Eazy E. He told TMZ that he is the "perfect man for the role" and that there was a "high probability" he'll portray his father in the film.
"Who better to play him in the N.W.A. days?" Lil' Eazy said. "Like father, like son -- no makeup needed."
Consisting of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, Eazy E and DJ Yella, N.W.A. is considered to be one the the pioneers of gangsta rap.
Rolling Stone ranks them 83rd on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Styles P of The Lox addressed an issue that a lot of people in hip-hop are still uncomfortable talking about during a recent issue with VladTV.
SP was asked if he thought there would ever be an openly gay rapper in the industry. He said he thought there would be at some point, but they should be careful about who they are influencing.
"I've been asked this question a lot lately... and I think so," Styles said. "My take on it as an adult male male is I don't care what you do, I'm comfortable in my situation. But sometimes it's uncomfortable as a father, certain situations. Just be cautious with it on who you're trying to influence and not influence. And that's not even being gay. That's in every part of life."
