A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting that killed three people and injured two others June 20th outside of a strip club in Houston.
31-year old rapper Trae Tha Truth, real name Frazier Othel Thompson, and 37-year old Willie Watkins were injured in the shooting outside of Diamonds Gentlemen’s Club, formerly known as Scores Cabaret.
An associate of Trae's ABN group Coy “Poppa C” Thompson, 23, was killed outside the club, along with 30-year-old Erica Rochelle Dotson and 31-year-old Carlos Durell Dorsey.
25-year old Feanyichi Uvukansi was taken in for questioning Wednesday in the shooting. Uvukansi reportedly told his family he was surprised to learn he was a suspect. He has a criminal past which includes multiple drug and assault charges according to KHOU.
Police say this may have all be traced back to a domestic dispute "Poppa C" had on June 17th. He had reportedly received threats on his life.
Dotson, a mother of three, had just approached Trae for an autograph when she was killed.
Uvukansi faces capital murder charges and was being held without bond.

Machine Gun Kelly is known for saying whatever is on his mind and he did just that in an interview with BallerAlert.com on the red carpet of the 2012 BET Awards. The Cleveland rapper was asked about his love for black women when he let it be known they top it off the best in his opinion.
"I'mma tell you like this - my child is black - black girls give the best head 100%," MGK said.
MGK went on to explain to the interviewer (who was a black woman), that black women either give the best dome or say they don't give it at all.
"This is what y'all do," he continued. "Y'all either give the best head or say you don't give head. White girls just give it. Most of y'all say 'I don't do that unless you're my man.' Whereas you just need to show your skills because black girls give the best head 100%."
A black woman that was standing nearby gets offended by what MGK is saying and walks off. After sending a few curse words her way the rapper continued the raunchy discussion. Check it out below.
