If the police fail to protect Beyonce on her upcoming "Formation World Tour" in the wake of Super Bowl 50 performance criticism from Rudy Guiliani and Javier Oritz, the President of The Miami Fraternal Order Police, calling for law enforcement nationwide to boycott her shows, she won't have to worry.
During a fiery sermon in Detroit on Sunday, February 21, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan vowed to provide the singer with safekeeping from the Fruit of Islam.
"Guiliani said, 'On the greatest platform in the world, the Super Bowl.' She started talking that black stuff. And white folks were like, 'We don't know how to deal with that.' Well, you taught us everywhere we went about the Holocaust," Farrakhan said. "But we have sympathy for you. But when one of us shows independence ... look at how you're treating Beyonce now. You gon' picket? You're not gonna offer her police protection? But the FOI will."
As we previously reported, the firestorm around Beyonce's salute to the Black Panther Party during her performance at Super Bowl 50, has led to some saying she was anti-police.
“I thought that it was really outrageous she used it as a platform to attack police officers, who are the people who protect her and protect us and keep us alive,” Giuliani said on Fox News. “And what we should be doing, in the African-American community and in all communities, is build up respect for police officers and focus on the fact that when something does go wrong, OK, we’ll work on that.”
The singer's music video for the song "Formation," in which she celebrates her heritage and tackles police brutality, has also drawn the ire of critics.
How do you feel about Farrakhan stepping in to offer protection to Beyonce from the Fruit of Islam?

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Authorities trying to piece together an hours-long weekend rampage that left six people dead in western Michigan said they are looking into a report that the suspect picked up at least one fare for a ride-hailing service between shootings.
Jason Dalton, a 45-year-old Uber driver and former insurance adjuster who police said had no criminal record, was arrested in connection with the shootings after a massive manhunt and was expected to be arraigned Monday. Authorities did not provide a motive for what they said was his targeting of victims with no apparent connection to him or to each other in the Saturday night shootings.

"How do you go and tell the families of these victims that they weren't targeted for any reason other than they were there to be a target?" Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting said at a Sunday news conference.
Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas described a terrifying series of attacks that began about 6 p.m. Saturday outside the Meadows apartment complex on the eastern edge of Kalamazoo County, where a woman was shot multiple times. She was expected to survive.
A little more than four hours later and 15 miles away, a father and his 17-year-old son were fatally shot while looking at cars at a car dealership.
Fifteen minutes after that, five people were gunned down in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel restaurant, Matyas said. Four of them died.
"These are random murders," Matyas said.
Dalton was arrested without incident about 12:40 a.m. Sunday after a deputy spotted his vehicle driving through downtown Kalamazoo after leaving a bar parking lot, authorities said.
Matyas declined to disclose anything found in the vehicle except for a semi-automatic handgun.
By midday, authorities were investigating a Facebook post that indicated the suspect was driving for Uber during the manhunt and had taken at least one fare, Getting said.
A spokeswoman for Uber confirmed that Dalton was a driver for the company, but she declined to say whether he was driving Saturday night.
Matt Mellen said he was one of Jason Dalton's passengers on Saturday afternoon via WMMT 3
Uber prohibits both passengers and drivers from possessing guns of any kind in a vehicle. Anyone found to be in violation of the policy may be prohibited from using or driving for the service.
A man who knows Dalton said he was a married father of two who never showed any signs of violence.
Gary Pardo Jr., whose parents live across the street from Dalton in Kalamazoo Township, described him as a family man who seemed fixated on cars and often worked on them.
"He would go a month without mowing his lawn but was very meticulous with his cars," Pardo said, explaining that Dalton, at times, owned a Chevrolet Camaro and two Hummer SUVs.
Progressive Insurance confirmed that he once worked for the company before leaving in 2011.
Dalton was an insurance adjuster who did auto-body estimates and once taught an auto-body repair class at an area community college, said James Block, who has lived next door to him for 17 years.
"He loved to do things outside with his kids" like taking them for rides on his lawn tractor, Block said.
Dalton's wife and children were unhurt, authorities said.
The suspect was in contact with more than one person during the rampage, authorities said, but they would not elaborate. Prosecutors said they did not expect to charge anyone else.

Authorities were interviewing Dalton and reviewing his phone. They did not know if the handgun belonged to him, Getting said.
"This is every community's nightmare — when you have someone going around just randomly killing people, no rhyme, no reason," Getting said.
Tammy George said the woman who was shot outside the apartment building is her next-door neighbor. She and her family heard the gunfire, ran outside and saw the woman on the ground.
Four bullets flew into a closet of George's home, she said. Her son, James, was playing video games with two friends a few feet away from where the bullets pierced the wall.
"I checked out the back window and saw a car speeding off," said James George, 17.
On Sunday morning, Tammy George came outside to clean the parking lot.
"I was worried about the kids coming out and seeing their mom's blood," she said. "I cleaned it up. No kid should have to come out and see their parent's blood on the ground."
During a Sunday morning news conference, some law enforcement officials wiped teary eyes or got choked up. When the news conference ended, Kalamazoo Mayor Bobby Hopewell and Department of Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley embraced.
The four people killed outside the restaurant were identified as 62-year-old Mary Lou Nye of Baroda and 60-year-old Mary Jo Nye, 68-year-old Barbara Hawthorne and 74-year-old Dorothy Brown, all of Battle Creek.
The two victims killed at the car dealership were identified as Tyler Smith and his father, Richard, who was 53.
A 14-year-old girl wounded at the restaurant was hospitalized in critical condition.
Late Sunday night, mourners streamed into a Kalamazoo church for a prayer service intended to honor the victims and help residents cope.
With a population of about 75,000, Kalamazoo is about 160 miles west of Detroit. It is home to Western Michigan University and the headquarters of popular craft beer maker Bell's Brewery. The city also is known for the anonymously funded Kalamazoo Promise program, which has paid college tuition of students who graduate from Kalamazoo Public Schools for more than a decade.

(CNN) Police have arrested Jason Brian Dalton in connection with three shooting incidents that killed six people and injured two more in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, prosecutor Jeff Getting said Sunday.
The prosecutor said he expects Dalton to be formally charged Monday.
There is "no reason to believe" that the Saturday evening shooting rampage is related to terrorism, Getting said. Dalton, the lone suspect, apparently picked his victims at random, the prosecutor said.
No motive has been determined yet, he said.
Authorities previously reported that seven people had been killed in the shooting incidents, but Getting said a 14-year-old girl shot at a Cracker Barrel restaurant did not die. She is "gravely injured," however, he said.
"What it looks like is we have someone just driving around, finding people and shooting them dead in their tracks," Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas told CNN affiliate WOOD-TV.
"This is your worst nightmare, when you have somebody just driving around randomly killing people."
Dalton, 45, was taken into custody without incident in downtown Kalamazoo early Sunday morning, Kalamazoo Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley told CNN affiliate WWMT.
"The threat to the public is over," Matyas told WOOD. "We know this is our suspect. He is in custody."
Authorities recovered a weapon from the suspect's car, he said
Never have felt this terrified before, This is insane. Praying for my friends, family and the loved ones of the victims. #PrayForKalamazoo
— Willie Mays HaVes (@Ty_havers22) February 21, 2016
The first shooting took place around 6 p.m., when a woman was shot four times in an apartment complex parking lot, Matyas said. She was with her three children. The woman is in serious condition.
Shortly after 10 p.m., two people were shot and killed at a car dealership, Matyas said. Hadley believes the victims were there looking at a vehicle.
Kelly Bainbridge was with her fiance and friends at Bell's Brewery in Kalamazoo when she started getting texts and calls from concerned family members about the gunman.
"As the shootings continued to occur, the situation because more frightening," Bainbridge told CNN. She was less than 4 miles away from the dealership.
Some of her friends decided to leave the bar, but Bainbridge and her fiance stayed. The brewery's owner locked the doors to protect his patrons.
Less than 8 miles away, the third shooting occurred, this time outside a Cracker Barrel. Five people in two separate cars were shot, Michigan State Police Lt. Dale Hinz told WOOD.
"This is obviously a tragic event. Any time a community loses six people in senseless, random acts of violence, (it) is just tragedy for everyone," Hadley told WWMT. "It's really tough."
The suspect was arrested about two blocks away from the brewery, Bainbridge said.
"As we were leaving, we could see police cars and flashing lights just north of us," she said, "but nothing more."
