Misty Velvet Dawn Spann was 25 years old when she married her mother Patricia Spann, 42, in Sept. 2016, according to Oklahoma District Court records. Misty now faces a 10-year deferred sentence after pleading guilty to that incestual marriage, according to CBS affiliate KOTV in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The marriage was annulled six weeks later in the city of Duncan. Misty is now 26 years old.
Records show that the mother lost custody of her children -- who were adopted -- when they were little. KOTV writes that Patricia told investigators she and Misty "hit it off" when they were reconnected in 2014.
Records also state that Patricia thought the marriage was legal because her name was no longer on Misty's birth certificate.
KOTV points out that Patricia married her biological son in 2008, but that was annulled in 2010 after he called it "incestuous."
There is a trial set in January for Patricia. She's charged with incest.
Family members, including Misty's brother, spoke out about the controversial marriage to local media saying that she was pressured into the relationship.
"She forced my sister into this, there's a lot of people that know it," Cody Spann said. "For you to want to put your own daughter through this, what kind of person are you?"

Lighta Soundboy just dropped a nice musical composition. A Reggae flavored single titled "Mama Africa (Soundsytem)." This is the second single released from Lighta Soundboy's debut EP "Almighty is Jah Jah," and continues to show the raw talent included in its package.
Lighta Soundboy rides the rhythm but interlaces his music with conscious material from audio to visual. The knowledge with in the lines of Mama Africa (Soundsystem) will plant the seed for growth before the listener realizes the soil of their mind is ready for harvest. The video was mainly shot at the Nubian Pyramids in Sudan, around Meroe, the former kingdom of Kush, from where the 25th dynasty of kemet (popularly known as ancient egypt) reigned.
The title of the song has been chosen not only to cheer Africa in genral, the African diaspora and beyond, but also as a shoutout to Mama Africa Soundsystem, which was founded by Lighta's friends from the Gambia. Check out the video for "Mama Africa (Soundsystem)" Today:

Singer and actor Tyrese Gibson is reportedly on the road back to normalcy after behaving oddly over the last couple of weeks.
He told TMZ that a doctor prescribed him the drug Rexulti to help with depression while he battled his ex-wife, Norma Gibson, for custody of their 10-year old daughter Shayla.
Tyrese claims side effects from the medication were to blame for the video he released that showed him crying, while begging Norma not to take his daughter away.
The following week, the "Fast and the Furious" star made a post on Instagram stating that Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith had loaned him $5 million to help him get back on his feet financially. However, the couple denied sending Tyrese any money and expressed concern that he might be having some sort of breakdown.
Tyrese says he is now off of the medication and getting better. He wants anyone that has been affected by his erratic behavior to know that he is sorry.

In this VladTV interview, Lord Jamar discusses former Miami Dolphins coach Chris Foerster sniffing coke — and being caught on camera. It was later revealed that the former football coach was exposed by his African-American "side chick." Jamar believes the coach only resigned /got fired because the video of him doing drugs had leaked. Jamar also alleged that Foerster sniffing coke was probably a known thing, comparing the situation to Harvey Weinstein's situation [in terms of the industry being aware of it]. "They [NFL] don't want to be associated, but that doesn't mean they're not associated," said Jamar regarding the incident.He also talked about Kaepernick filing a collusion and boycotting the NFL even though he loves football.
