Kanye West is getting fired up while defending his wife.

In a series of heated rants posted on his social media account on Thursday, the “Love It” rapper spoke out against rumors that Kim Kardashian West had dated Drake — rumors which she had already publicly denied.

“I just wanted to express some things that were not sitting right with my spirit. Now that I’m up out the sunken place I can think and I can just be ‘Ye and express how I feel. There’s a couple of things that I want to address,” he said in the first of a series of Instagram videos.

“First of all I want to address Nick Cannon. I understand that you used to date my wife, but you know, you get into an interview, don’t mention my wife,” he continued, referencing a Complex interview where Cannon didn’t think it was “far off of a concept” that Drake and Kardashian West had hooked up in the past.

“If someone brings my wife up, say, ‘I respect that man, I’m not speaking on that.’ Don’t be making no suggestions — like nobody f— my wife,” West added, before directly addressing Drake.

Machine Gun Kelly dropped by The Breakfast Club to break down his feud with Eminem. The two rappers have been firing off diss tracks over the past month and things have gotten ugly. Their beef stems from a Tweet MGK posted in 2012 about Eminem's daughter Hailie, calling her "hot as f*ck." MGK claims the two settled it privately six years ago and that the call out on Kamikaze was a total surprise. Hailie was 16 at time, but MGK claims he didn't know how old she was. "I'm a father. I have a 9-year-old daughter. I get it. One hundred percent. Can I apologize? Can I take the tweet down? Sure. But a public apology? Come on, man." MGK won't apologize publicly because of Eminem's reputation for "shitting on dead people" and "Christopher Reeves, who was in a wheel chair." He also says that it was "a silly comment to have started all of this."

MGK and Em are both signed to Interscope, which has created some workplace tension. According to MGK, the company is divided over the rappers' beef with each other. "The problem comes when the people assigned to work for me aren't working," MGK said on The Breakfast Club. "They're picking sides." He denies that this whole thing is just a ploy from Interscope to help him sell records.

(WFAA)  The public still has a lot of questions about the shooting death of Botham Jean, including: Why has Dallas police officer Amber Guyger not been fired?

That issue was brought up Tuesday night at a town hall meeting at Paul Quinn College, where Chief Renee Hall took questions from the audience and asked for patience and trust.

Community members asked why the Jean case – in which Guyger fatally shot the 26-year-old in his apartment, saying she mistook the unit for her own – was transferred to the Texas Rangers and why Guyger was not arrested the day Jean was killed.

Hall asked the community to be patient and to allow investigators to do a complete investigation, including talking to more potential witnesses. She said the community talks about not trusting DPD and then criticizing the move to bring in an outside agency.

But it was clear there was a lot of frustration, and attendees still wanted to know why Guyger has not been fired. "I can’t do that because there are both local, state and federal laws that prohibit me from taking action," Hall said. "There are civil service laws we have to adhere to.”

Justin Moore, a civil rights attorney was a panelist at the meeting and was surprised by the Chief's comments. "I was completely mystified, and I really didn't understand where it came from last night. It seemed like Chief Hall might not have been well informed on the law,” said Moore.

The Dallas Police Department general orders do allow the chief to take action, saying, "The Chief of Police may circumvent all formal disciplinary procedures to render an immediate decision when it deems it necessary to preserve the integrity of the department.”

The general orders are the policies that officers have to follow and are governed by within the department.

It was unclear what laws chief Hall was referring to, but she promised she would release copies of the laws.

Police chiefs across the state and in Dallas have fired officers under criminal investigation. An internal investigation is typically conducted, but the chief can order that process to be expedited.

Officer Guyger is allowed due process which means an internal investigation is typically conducted.

The Dallas Police Department has fired other officers while under criminal investigation including Amy Wilburn who shot a man in his car and Cardan Spencer who shot a mentally ill man standing in street. "There is nothing that prevents a police chief from firing somebody on the spot or at least launching an internal affairs investigation,” said Moore.

Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson who now has the criminal case said it’s up to DPD to make firing decisions. She says her public integrity unit is focused on gathering evidence to give to a grand jury. "I am committed to getting to the truth. We will get to the truth, and the truth will be presented to the grand jury in this case,” said Johnson.

WFAA asked the Dallas Police Department the laws Chief Hall mentioned. They did not provide us with any.

They did provide us with the same general order we mentioned in our story and added. “General order 508 refers to the Police Chief’s ability to circumvent the formal disciplinary procedures not the investigative process.”

They also provided a copy of the city’s civil service rules. WFAA asked Dallas Police if the Chief has launched an internal affairs investigation. They did not respond to that.

LISTEN TO COME THRU HERE NOW!!!

12352983466?profile=original

It's astounding Baltimore artist Danny Lugo isn't bigger than he is by now. He seems prepackaged for underground rap heads, complete with an emotional side that makes him more than an indie MC. Living in the DMV area but having travelled internationally, he has a deepness about him that other Baltimore rappers might lack. Although he's been widely ignored by media, his latest single "Come Thru," might finally break him into the mainstream. Check out the song above!

UFC star Jon Jones could be eligible to return to competition by Oct. 28 -- fifteen months after failing the second drug test of his illustrious career.

The United States Anti-Doping Agency announced on Wednesday it has suspended Jones for 15 months, for testing positive for metabolites of an anabolic steroid on July 28, 2017. The suspension is retroactive to the date of the test, meaning Jones has already served nearly 14 months.

Jones, who is from Rochester, New York, had faced a maximum ban of four years. He still faces potential sanctions by the California State Athletic Commission because the failed test took place in Anaheim, California. But Wednesday's USADA resolution marked a major development in the case.

An independent arbitrator settled on the 15-month suspension length following a closed hearing last weekend. Jones, 31, has maintained he did not take any performance-enhancing drug around the time of the test, but he did admit to the use of illicit drugs, including cocaine, "prior to and for a period of time after" July 28, 2017.

Jones's case took more than one year to resolve because of several circumstances. He submitted the failed test one day before he knocked out Daniel Cormier to reclaim the light heavyweight championship at UFC 214. The result of that bout has since been changed to a no-contest because of Jones's positive test results.

Despite his claims of innocence, Jones has been unable to account for the substance in his system. He submitted 14 supplements to be tested for possible contamination, none of which came back positive for any banned substance.

The details of this case were inconsistent, however, with someone trying to beat a drug test, in that Jones passed five out-of-competition tests in the five months prior to the adverse finding, and presumably would have expected to be tested around his fight at UFC 214.

Even though the substance was never accounted for, the circumstances were such that USADA only sought a maximum 18-month suspension. Although it rarely happens, identifying the source of an adverse finding is not a requirement to reduce sanctions under the UFC's anti-doping program.

Joe then detailed Jones stepping to him over the song and then changing his mind.
