In this clip, Tony Yayo and DJ Vlad talk about 50 Cent's classic song "Many Men" and the fact that he named his shooter 'Hommo' and he referenced Slim's betrayal on the track. From there, Tony Yayo shares some details about the real-life inspiration behind the song, which stems from a near-death experience for 50 Cent. After discussing the shooting, Yayo explains why 50 Cent didn't want his friends to see him after he had been shot multiple times. Lastly, he reflects back on having dinner with 50 Cent and Jimmy Iovine on top of Interscope Records.

Rochester, New emcee and producer, Eto, has been grinding for well over a decade. He's literally a living legend.

Here's an official music video for "Monkey" that was originally released in 2013. When I dropped it at that time a lot of people didn't get a chance to peep it. So I decided to release this rare gem for the real hip hop heads.

A collective of artists from St. Paul, Minnesota under the alias All Ona Bih has been recording music for over 10 years. They have been a staple in the underground Twin Cities scene and well known throughout the metro for well over a decade.

Seany J and Von make timeless records, He wouldn’t trade him for the biggest rapper on the planet. Nobody can do what he and Daevon do on a record. Yet we go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. Add some Sa’Vii Krst too and that’s like a nice cup of milk.

They established AOB as a LLC and finally got to publish there music this year. Featuring over 20 artists, they are attempting never seen in hip-hop.

Having there own unique sound, they are privileged that there music still holds up. Moving down to Florida this month and branching out across the country, you’re going to want to keep your eye on them in the coming future. In particular what seems to be front man Seany Jizz (AKA Seany J) who is the only rapper in a series of albums.

Cee Armel - "Cee The World 2" @Cee_Armel

12354082053?profile=original
Rapper Cee Armel; born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, has been making significant strides in the International Music Scene since his 2017 move to the Far East.

His silky delivery, vivid lyricism as well as his unique ability to switch up his flow with ease are just some of the reasons fans gravitate to his sound. A member of the New Jersey based "Lets Roll Records" imprint since 2010, Ceez as he's colloquially known, has adapted greatly to the ever changing sounds in music. Look for Cee Armel to continue to build on his already solid catalog with his 2022 project "Cee The World 2"

"Cee The World 2" is a celebration of all of my wins (and losses) over the past 5 years. I personally feel I've gotten better with each previous release, but when I locked in and started crafting CTW2 I really put my stamp on it. I allowed myself the necessary time to perfect my sound as well as push some boundaries. I was way more selfish in studio sessions, picker with my beat selection, and I also challenged myself to not settle. I tried my best to bring the listener along for a first hand view into my mind as an artist. If I can say so myself, this is my best body of work. Tap In!!

Video After The Jump

TAMPA, Fla. (Fox13) - Twenty days after the death of a 1-year-old at a Tampa apartment complex, the Tampa Police Department said their suspect had been arrested in Tennessee.

Detectives in Tampa started investigating on August 1 when an unresponsive infant was brought to the hospital and died soon after. An autopsy showed the baby had injuries to their stomach and head, according to TPD.

Officers were called to an apartment complex on Woodville Street around 3 p.m. after other children in the home realized the baby was unresponsive and ran to a neighbor for help.

Investigators later learned the baby and the baby's mother lived in the same apartment was 28-year-old Terin Smith, who cared for the child while the mother was at work.

Other children in the home told officers they saw Smith hit the infant for being "whiny" during bath time. Smith then reportedly put the baby in a crib, where the child was found by other juveniles in the home.

When officers got there, Smith was already gone.

TPD said Smith was located and arrested in Tennessee on August 21. He has been charged with first-degree murder while engaged in aggravated child abuse.

It was unclear when Smith would be transported back to Tampa.

AJ Reynolds - "Out The Box" @realajreynolds

12354086283?profile=original

Hit after hit after hit... AJ Reynolds has proven himself to be a lyrical success as well as securing a spot on NBC TV’s ‘The Four’ to perform in front of Diddy, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and also the world. Unfortunately, but in the humblest & positive way... AJ took the backseat for the last 4 years to perfect the craft of making Hits. During the process, AJ & Connor of Project 2 studios created an album during a crazy growing period in both of their lives. Taking every bit of spare time and budget and putting it towards the project while also keeping the draining fact in the back of their head that there is nothing to lean on and lay back onto when things get tough... AJ Continued his journey and passions with music and dumped everything right back into this body of work.

"Out The Box" is a 19 song album that changes vibes within the blink of an eye. The title speaks itself into existence. You have to think outside the box. You need to be different. You need to stand out. You need to be different than the gimmicks and the Hollywood clones walking around the industry like zombies.

AJ Started thinking outside the box and began infusing that mindset into his music. From songs like "Milk" In the clubs to "Vibes" in your feelings relatable to narcissistic relationships with family & significant others. From "Cobra" on the beaches of Miami to "Fruit snacks" touching the nostalgic dreamy childhoods that most wish they could go back for one more day. This album is truly an emotional roller-coaster and vibe city at the same time.

Writing songs has always been a gift for AJ and when it comes to the music and its always going to come first. Every single day AJ wakes up and writes a song, makes a beat, films some sort of content and finds different ways to learn something new about what he loves. And this is a major part of the growing factor of this time of his life that was infused into the music.

Actually waking up and breaking financial freedom is what follows this crazy music video that he also dropped today. "Money Man Syndrome" (AJ's newest music video) is way too informative if you want to change your life financially. Most will hear a trap beat and think it’s just another trap song but if you actually pay attention... You could learn a thing or two about financial freedom. "Ya'll just don't know what I've been from, Now I get checks and I dip son, I got that multiple income, I need a mill before I get done" - AJ Reynolds Says it all. The record is purely for the people that want to do something with their lives or for the people that need that extra boost to get up and actually go start doing something. The difference between going to get a job and actually trying to start a small business or a side hustle that breaks financial freedom is a huge eye opener after listening to this record. It’s just more vibe than some "Preach in your face" kind of song.

"I just want a business, gotta pay bills, save money and add interest. maybe open up a restaurants and employ people that need a job that’s going to pay for both kids … maybe I just wanna make a difference..." - AJ Reynolds

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. (WBRC) - New video released tonight of a Childersburg pastor who was arrested while watering his neighbor’s flowers.

Pastor Michael Jennings of Vision of Abundant Life Ministries in Sylacauga, was confronted & arrested by police while watering flowers at a neighbor’s home.

“Y’all racially profiled me,” Jennings said in the video.

“We’re not racially profiling you,” the unidentified officer responded. "Yes, you did,” replied Jennings.

“No sir, no sir,” the arresting officer rebutted. “We’re not about that okay?”

“I told you I was here watering flowers,” Jennings responded. “How do we know that’s the truth,” the officer asked.

“I had the water hose in my hand! I was watering the flowers,” Jennings laughs.

Jennings was arrested & charged with obstructing government operations. Those charges dropped the following month.

Police say someone reported a suspicious vehicle & person on the property.

“It represents an abuse of police powers. It represents racial profiling and it represents law-enforcement officers intimidating a person who actually understands & knows their rights,” his attorney Harry Daniels said.

The charges against Jennings were dropped the following month, however, Daniels said they were still planning to sue the department.

“These cases put law enforcement on notice & the country on notice that these types of interactions. Thank God that my client had a cool head. He didn’t get aggressive or defensive in a sense & he complied when the officers grabbed him. It could’ve went a different way. Pastor Jennings could very well not be here today.”

Video After The Jump

In this clip, Tony Yayo quickly touches on the fact that John Cena's famous "You Can't See Me" taunt actually comes from a gesture that he made in a 50 Cent video many years ago. The Queens native then gives a shoutout to John Cena before revealing that the reason behind the gesture is that he was trying to hide his face from law enforcement because he was on the run. This prompts DJ Vlad to ask him about the rumor that Suge Knight showed up to the music video shoot for "In Da Club." Yayo confirms that Knight did indeed show up, along with the Mexican Bloods, and that he and his bandmates were actually excited to have beef with him because it meant that they had "arrived" as artists. Moving along, Yayo shares another encounter with Suge Knight at the Vibe Awards, where 50 Cent instructed James Cruz to go and buy 16 knives for the members of his crew just in case the had to engage in a brawl with Suge Knight.

Kodak Black is lending a major hand to Haitians cut off from food and water -- due to extreme gang violence -- by sending more than 35,000 bottles of H2O.

Kodak heard about the Caribbean nation's crisis, and decided to do something to help the situation -- dropping $50k to get tons of bottled water shipped there from Florida ... according to the rapper's attorney, Bradford Cohen.

We're told Kodak is using cargo ships to send over alkaline water, and the labels on the bottles read "LAST" because Kodak wants this to be the last time anyone in Haiti goes without water.

Once the shipment reaches Haiti ... Kodak and his team are working with Haitian government officials to ensure the bottles get to their intended destinations.

Cohen says Kodak is calling for a ceasefire in the rising gang violence that's turning Haiti into a war zone ... and the water donation is just his latest step in an ongoing effort to help the island.

In addition to making sure Haitians don't go thirsty, we're told Kodak previously donated to orphanages and food banks on the island to get folks health care.

MORROW, Ga. (AP) — 2 white Atlanta police officers who clashed with Rayshard Brooks acted reasonably during the 2020 encounter that ended with the 27-year-old Black man’s fatal shooting, a specially appointed prosecutor said Tuesday in announcing his decision not to pursue charges against the pair.

Pete Skandalakis, executive director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, said Officer Garrett Rolfe, who shot & killed Brooks in June 2020, & Officer Devin Brosnan will not face any charges, saying they faced a “dynamic situation” that was “quickly evolving.”

Skandalakis said he believes that context is important and acknowledged that encounters between police and the African American community are sometimes “very volatile,” but he said he doesn’t believe race played a role in this instance.

“This isn’t one of those cases,” he said. “This is a case in which the officers were willing to give Mr. Brooks every benefit of the doubt and, you know, unfortunately, by his actions, this is what happened.”

On June 12, 2020, police responded to complaints of a man sleeping in a car in the drive-thru lane of a Wendy’s restaurant. Police body camera video shows the 2 officers having a calm conversation with Brooks for nearly 40 minutes.

Then, when the officers told Brooks he’d had too much to drink to be driving & tried to arrest him, Brooks resisted in a struggle caught on dash camera video. Brooks grabbed a Taser from 1 of the officers & fled, firing it at Rolfe as he ran. Rolfe fired his gun & an autopsy found that Brooks was shot twice in the back.

Rolfe was fired a day after the shooting, but his dismissal was overturned in May 2021 by the Atlanta Civil Service Board. The board found that the city failed to follow its own procedures for disciplinary actions.

Former Louisville Metro Police Detective Kelly Hanna Goodlett pleaded guilty Tuesday to 1 count of conspiring to violate the civil rights of Breonna Taylor for helping falsify an affidavit for the search of her apartment that ended in her death in March 2020.

Goodlett is expected to against 2 of her ex-colleagues, Joshua Jaynes and Kyle Meany, when they are tried on civil rights charges in connection with Taylor’s death. A third ex-detective, Brett Hankison, is also charged in a separate federal indictment.

Goodlett, 35, admitted the charge before U.S. District Judge Rebecca Grady Jennings with Taylor's mother, Tamika Palmer, among those present in the courtroom.

She faces a sentence of no more than 6 years in prison, plus up to a $250,000 fine & 3 years of supervised release.

Goodlett admitted she falsely claimed a postal inspector had verified Taylor was receiving packages for her ex-boyfriend, convicted drug dealer Jamarcus Glover, at her apartment before the raid. In fact, postal inspectors said there was no evidence Taylor was receiving packages at her apartment.

The indictment of Jaynes alleges Goodlett met with Jaynes in his garage so they could “get on the same page” after a postal inspector said the claim that Taylor was receiving Glover's packages was bogus.

Jaynes, 40, & Meany, 35, also face civil rights charges for the search that ended in Taylor's death, while Hankison, 46, is charged with violating the civil rights of Taylor; her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker & 3 of Taylor’s neighbors; by blindly firing shots into her apartment.

Taylor was 26 when she died.
