MTV is reporting that the rapper was arrested for Criminal Possession of Marijuana yesterday (July 24) while at Coliseum Mall, in his birthplace of Queens, New York.

The 1017 Brick Squad member tweeted about the incident just hours ago.

The hip hop cops are notoriously bad in NYC. Prodigy of Mobb Deep just got back home in March after a 3-year prison sentence for gun charges. He mentioned recently that the HHP follow certain individuals around throughout the city looking for a reason to arrest them. Lil Wayne has said he's never coming back to the city after getting jailed there for a gun charge.

Despite the temporary setback, Waka is keeping it moving. He has a show in Kansas City, MO tonight. And he and Gucci Mane are set to drop their album 'Ferrari Boyz' on August 9.

Amy hugging her mom Janis after winning 2008 Grammy

As new details surrounding the death of Amy Winehouse emerge, her mom is speaking out about the last conversation she had with her daughter.

Janis Winehouse told The Daily Mirror that Amy's death "seemed only a matter of time."

She seemed out of it," Janis said of her visit with Amy just a day before she passed. "But her passing so suddenly still hasn’t hit me."

Although police are saying her death is so far "unexplained," friends say the five time Grammy winner had been on an ecstacy and alcohol binge for a week leading up to her death.

Winehouse joins the very sad "27 Club" of entertainers who partied hard and died at the age of 27 (see list below).

BRIAN JONES
The guitarist and founder member of the Rolling Stones was found dead at the bottom of a Sussex swimming pool on July 2, 1969. Alcohol and drugs were found in his system. The coroner reported death by misadventure.

JIMI HENDRIX
The legendary electric guitarist collapsed at a party in London on September 18, 1970, and later died of suffocation brought on by a barbiturate overdose.

JANIS JOPLIN
The American folk singer died of a heroin overdose, possibly combined with the effects of alcohol. She was found in her Hollywood apartment on October 4, 1970.

JIM MORRISON
A prolific drug-taker, The Doors’ frontman died of heart failure while taking a bath in his Paris apartment on July 3, 1971. The previous day, he had complained of regurgitating blood. His death certificate states he died of “natural causes”.

KURT COBAIN
The troubled lead-singer of American grunge rock band Nirvana shot himself in the room above his garage in his Seattle home on April 8, 1994. The previous month, he had survived a drug and alcohol-induced coma.

RICHEY EDWARDS
The lead guitarist of Welsh band Manic Street Preachers disappeared in December 1995, prior to the band’s tour of America. His body was never found, but he was officially presumed dead in 2008.

AMY WINEHOUSE
The five time Grammy winner struggled for years with drug and alcohol abuse. She was found dead July 23, 2011. Police have not yet determined how she died.

Video After The Jump

Andy Milonakis has thrown himself into the middle of the White Girls Mob discussion by posting a video defending V-Nasty's use of the n-word.

"Even if you have known someone for ten years you never really truly know what it's like to be in their f*cking brain," he says in a video posted on youtube. "You hear them say something and you spin it into your own little brain and you come up with your own conclusion of who they are. You can't tell someone who they are -- so quit with the f*cking judgements. And for the record I'm not from the f*cking hood, maybe that's obvious to you. Have you ever been to a hood? Every f*cking race drops the n-bomb there. And I don't co-sign it, but that's a fact of f*cking life."

One of V-Nasty's freestyles was recorded at Andy's crib. It's obvious the two have become friends, but how far is too far when it comes to defending someone or something that is offensive to so many people?

Nevertheless, the former star of MTV's The Andy Milonakis Show had more to say on the subject.

"You're dissing someone who's on your f*cking team," he continued. "You think if some racist motherf*cker came into the hood and started saying some real racist sh*t, with real intent to be racist and hurtful. You think V-Nasty wouldn't stand up for you and beat someone down for you? She is on your f*cking team and you're f*cking talking sh*t to the wrong person."

What do you think of Andy's comments?

Video After The Jump

Comedian Dave Chappelle didn't get many laughs during his appearance at Friday's Zo’s Summer Groove charity event in Miami.

According to ENews he only told one joke during his 45 minutes on the stage. Instead he talked with audience members who were heckling him, answered four text messages, then left, telling the audience: "Alright ladies and gentleman it's been a growing experience, I'm really glad I came."

CNN reporter Roland S. Martin was at the event and tweeted details about Dave's strange routine.

"This Dave Chappelle set is bizarre. He's spent more time going back & forth with one audience member, & pretty much stopped telling jokes," Martin wrote on the social networking site. "One woman just yelled, 'Can you tell a joke so we can enjoy ourselves!' He got texted four times during his show and actually checked them. I'm just not understanding what threw him off. He's complained about folks videotaping his set, yelling out loud. I don't get it. Chappelle says this is a 'test of wills.' He keeps saying 'tick tock' & he has 'nothing but time.' He's just staring at the crowd & sighing. Then Dave started talking to me, asking if I was putting this on CNN. Yes, from the stage! He's been on stage 46 minutes & told one joke."

Martin later wrote that Dave's people told him the comedian hates to be heckled and when some audience members did that it threw him off completely.

Actress Gabrielle Union also took to twitter, but she was angry at the hecklers, not Dave.

I've seen Dave perform live and he is one of the funniest comedians you will ever see. It's hard to say exactly what happened in Miami Friday, but it's not the first time Dave has acted strangely.

In 2005 he abruptly walked away from his wildly popular Comedy Central show and the $50 million dollar check that came with it.

Video After The Jump

Tyler, The Creator of the rap group Odd Future was just nominated for Video Of The Year at the 2011 VMA's for "Yonkers".

When Sway of MTV caught up with him to ask how it felt to get his first nomination, he got a typical Tyler response.

"I almost boo boo'ed on myself," Tyler joked. "I said 'oh sh*t, oh f*ck I'm about to pass out, I'm paid.'"

"Yonkers" is competing against Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," Beastie Boys' "Make Some Noise," Bruno Mars' "Grenade" and Katy Perry's "Firework."

Tyler said he would be heated if he lost to any of them besides Adele, because none of them are very good.

"I'm really excited, shout out to Ron Artest. If I lose to any of those wackass videos, I'm gonna be mad because they all suck — except for Adele's," he told MTV.

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards air live from Los Angeles on August 28, at 9 p.m. Eastern.
