Multi-platinum selling rapper T.I. was arrested Wednesday morning, May 16, outside of his gated community in Henry County, Georgia.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that TIP, born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., was trying to gain entry around 4 a.m., but had forgotten his keys. A guard refused to grant him access and an argument ensued.
Things escalated after a friend T.I. called showed up on the scene.
T.I. was arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. His friend was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
The "Live in the Sky" hit maker was released from the Henry County Jail after posting a $2,250 bond.

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - A woman accused of sending a Paradise Valley man 65,000 text message tried to explain her actions in a jailhouse interview Thursday.
"I love him," she said.
Police say 31-year-old Jacqueline Claire Ades of Phoenix met the victim online and went on one date with him before she began sending him thousands of texts, breaking into his home, and showing up at his workplace claiming to be his wife.
"I felt like I met my soul mate and I thought we would just do what everybody else did and we would get married and everything would be fine," Ades told us.
During her jailhouse interview Thursday, Ades was asked why she sent the victim so many texts.
"Because it made me find out all my information," she said. "Loving him selflessly brought me his information. Because everybody just wants to take.
But if you just give and you don't stop giving, you will all of a sudden receive a lot."
Police say some of those messages Ades sent the victim were threatening, and included:
- "Don't ever try to leave me... I'll kill you... I don't wanna be a murderer!"
- "I hope you die... you rotten filthy Jew."
- "I'm like the new Hitler... man was a genius."
- "I'd wear your fascia 'n the top of your skull 'n your hands 'n feet."
- "Oh, what I would do w/your blood... I'd wanna bathe in it."
Ades was arrested Tuesday, May 8.
She was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on charges of threatening, stalking, harassment and failure to appear.
Ades is set to appear in court May 15. She is being held without bond.
During her interviews, Ades would answer a question or two, then deflect the next one.
She veered from topic to topic, rambling about Einstein, the Dead Sea, the birth chart of Jesus and the symbolism of the markings on a dollar bill.
At one point, she told a reporter, "I don't want to talk about that. You have negative energy."
Ades was asked directly, "Are you crazy?"
"No," she replied. "I am the person that [sic] discovered love."
When confronted about the fact that 65,000 text messages seemed more threatening than loving, she replied, "When you find love, everything is not perfect. I love him."
She was asked if she would now leave the victim alone.
"If he wants me to," she said. If [Victim] wants me to go to jail, I should go to jail."
She then said, "He's the meanest person I've ever met. " But in the next breath, she said, "He's my soulmate."
When asked why she decided to speak to reporters, Ades said, "I have to share the message of love. Everybody has to love each other."

Cameroon born and DMV based Rap artist Chase Royale today delivers his new intoxicating single "Whole Slab." The song is built upon the back of instantly catchy, stick in your head production from D'Artizt as Chase lays out his plans for Rap domination with a flow sounding like a mash of DMV and authentic New York Rap.
To call the rift between Nas and ex-wife Kelis bitter would be an understatement. The two have been in and out of court numerous times over the last several years battling over various issues related to their 8-year old song, Knight.
Kelis has her ex-husband back in front of a judge, after deciding the $8000 a month he pays in child support isn't enough.
As a result, Nas had to submit his financial documents in court.
TMZ reports that Esco makes about $175,000 per month from various sources (music, investments, etc.). The "If I Ruled the World" hit maker has $8.3 million in the bank, spends $76,834.04 on monthly expenses, which includes $20,245.70 to help his father and other family members. He also shells out $15,000 a month on rent.
Kelis says additional funds are needed to pay for 50% of Knight's school-related costs, 50% of child care and 50% of unreimbursed health care.
She hasn't specified how much more she wants and a judge has yet to make a ruling.

Charlamagne Tha God gives Donkey Of The Day to "sexuality expert" Deanne Carson who said that parents need to their children for consent before changing their diaper. Appearing on Australian news, Deanne wants parents to ask their infant children questions like, “I’m going to change your nappy now, is that OK?” Charlamange is quick to point out this woman probably has never had to change a diaper before. If she had, she would never request that parents ask their toddlers to change their diapers.
Where is the logic in this? During her interview, she said, "of course the baby isn't going to respond, 'yes Mom, that's awesome. I'd love to have my nappy change,' but if you leave a space and wait for body language and wait to make eye contact, then you're letting that child know their response matters." Does that mean that body language and eye contact are consent? That's a horrible lesson to teach to our kids.
