To call the rift between Nas and ex-wife Kelis bitter would be an understatement. The two have been in and out of court numerous times over the last several years battling over various issues related to their 8-year old song, Knight.
Kelis has her ex-husband back in front of a judge, after deciding the $8000 a month he pays in child support isn't enough.
As a result, Nas had to submit his financial documents in court.
TMZ reports that Esco makes about $175,000 per month from various sources (music, investments, etc.). The "If I Ruled the World" hit maker has $8.3 million in the bank, spends $76,834.04 on monthly expenses, which includes $20,245.70 to help his father and other family members. He also shells out $15,000 a month on rent.
Kelis says additional funds are needed to pay for 50% of Knight's school-related costs, 50% of child care and 50% of unreimbursed health care.
She hasn't specified how much more she wants and a judge has yet to make a ruling.
