Multi-platinum selling rapper T.I. was arrested Wednesday morning, May 16, outside of his gated community in Henry County, Georgia.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that TIP, born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., was trying to gain entry around 4 a.m., but had forgotten his keys. A guard refused to grant him access and an argument ensued.
Things escalated after a friend T.I. called showed up on the scene.
T.I. was arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. His friend was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
The "Live in the Sky" hit maker was released from the Henry County Jail after posting a $2,250 bond.
