Allow us to introduce you to a band with some amazing history...Roadcase Royale. A newly formed band featuring Nancy Wilson of Rock N Roll Hall of Fame group, Heart and Liv Warfield formerly of Princes New Power Generation. And they are bringing back that good sound of funk and rock twisted just right to fit today's era of music. Ryan Waters, lead guitarist, has worked with Sade, Cee Lo Green and India Arie. On Bass is Dan Rothchild. He is the son of producer Paul Rothchild, who has credits with The Doors, Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt to name a few. Dan himself has worked with the likes of Heart, Beck, Sheryll Crow, Fionna Apple, Stevie Nicks, Shakira and the list goes on and on. Keyboard player, Chris Joyner, has recorded and toured with some of the biggest names in the industry including Jason Mraz, Ben Harper,Sheryll Crow and many more. Ben Smith on the drums has been involved with some pretty major names since the early 90's. Much of his professional career he has worked live and in the studio with The Wilson Sisters and Heart. He also has performed and/or recorded with Cyndi Lauper, Peter Frampton and Phoebe Snow to name a few. With such a strong line up, It is almost inevitable that this band of musical history is about to make more musical history for generations old and new.

Roadcase Royale recently released the live performance video of their latest single "Get Loud" at RollingStone.com. Though it begins with a mellow tune, you quickly want to turn up as Liv Warfield bellows out strong lyrics of standing up and getting loud about equality of women. All while a funky electro melody played by some of the greatest musicians to do it beautifully surrounds her voice. The songs gives you that sense of character and morality that music used to give the listener. And there couldn't be a better time for music about strength and standing up for what you believe in.

"Get Loud" will officially be released to digital streaming and retail providers on March 17th. It is currently available for pre-order through Itunes. Roadcase Royale first introduced the world to "Get Loud" January 20th during the live streaming of Concert for America. A lyric video is currently out for "Get Loud."

Swing My Door Video on Youtube

From the beginning to the end, the video for Roye’s latest single “Swing My Door” is entertaining and will keep you engaged with the comically animated performance and visual plot. Set in a stereotypical “hood” restaurant, “Swing My Door” shows the artist in a natural habitat from a creative perspective. We witness customers coming in making specific purchases of goods, as if it were a normalized shopping routine, while Roye sits in the kitchen counting money. The “Swing My Door” video lives up to all the hype and sets a promising tone for his upcoming mixtape Treehouse 2 #448.

21-year old Tyler Price earned a well deserved Donkey of the Day from Charlamagne Tha God for Thursday, March 16.

Price applied to be a probationary officer for the South Charleston, West Virginia Police Department. During the interview process he talked about having sex with a woman after a night of drinking. The woman was passed out when he filmed her afterwards. He still had the video evidence on his phone at the time of the interview, reports WCHSTV

Police contacted the victim who remembered drinking heavily that night, but had no recollection of having sex with Price and didn't know that he had filmed her while she was unconscious.

Price was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

Video After The Jump

When Snoop Dogg filmed his "Lavender" remix video he probably expected it to draw a lot of attention. With nearly 5 million views in 3 days, reactions from the POTUS, 2 senators, as well as T.I. and Bow Wow, the hip hop legend has gotten what he hoped for.

TMZ recently caught up with Common in Los Angeles and got a different perspective than had previously been offered by others, on the scene in the video that depicts Snoop shooting President Trump.

12352569472?profile=original

"Hip hop has always been about freedom of expression. That's one of the most powerful things. Hip hop has been a voice for so many people," Common said. "If you think about the days of Public Enemy and you fast forward to Kendrick Lamar. Hip hop artists have always been speaking up and saying what they feel. if it's a president they don't like ... if it's a politician they don't like. I was just listening to KRS [One] and he was talking about Clarence Thomas back then. If you didn't like what was going on, you speak up. We're entitled to do that as people."

Video After Jump

(Reuters) A defiant Donald Trump has pledged to appeal against a federal judge's order placing an immediate halt on his revised travel ban, describing the ruling as judicial overreach that made the United States look weak.

In granting the temporary restraining order in response to a lawsuit by the state of Hawaii, U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson found on Wednesday that "a reasonable, objective observer ... would conclude that the executive order was issued with a purpose to disfavor a particular religion."

Early on Thursday, U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang issued a nationwide preliminary injunction in a similar case in Maryland brought by refugee resettlement agencies represented by the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Immigration Law Center.

Chuang ruled that the agencies were likely to succeed in proving that the travel ban portion of the executive order was intended to be a ban on Muslims and, as a result, violates the U.S. Constitution's religious freedom protection.

"To avoid sowing seeds of division in our nation, upholding this fundamental constitutional principle at the core of our nation's identity plainly serves a significant public interest," Chuang wrote in his ruling.

The actions were the latest legal blow to the administration's efforts to temporarily ban refugees as well as travelers from six predominantly Muslim countries. The president has said the ban is needed for national security.

However, the orders, while a victory for the plaintiffs, are only a first step and the government could ultimately win its underlying case. Watson and Chuang were appointed to the bench by former Democratic President Barack Obama.

Trump, speaking after the Hawaii ruling at a rally in Nashville, called his revised executive order a "watered-down version" of his first.

The president said he would take the case “as far as it needs to go,” including to the Supreme Court, in order to get a ruling that the ban is legal.

The likely next stop if the administration decides to contest the Hawaii judge’s ruling would be the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Three judges on the Ninth Circuit upheld a restraining order on the first travel ban issued by a Washington state judge.

At that point, the government’s legal options were to ask for a hearing by a larger panel of judges or petition the Supreme Court to hear the case. Instead, the administration withdrew the ban, promising to retool it in ways that would address the legal issues.

If the Ninth Circuit were to uphold the Hawaii court’s ruling, an appeal to the Supreme Court would be complicated by its current makeup of four conservative and four liberal judges, with no ninth justice since the death of Antonin Scalia more than a year ago.

The travel ban has deeply divided the country on liberal and conservative lines, and it is unlikely that a ninth Supreme Court justice would be seated in time to hear an appeal in this case.

Trump signed the new ban on March 6 in a bid to overcome legal problems with his January executive order, which caused chaos at airports and sparked mass protests before a Washington judge stopped its enforcement in February.

Watson's order is only temporary until the broader arguments in the case can be heard. He set an expedited hearing schedule to determine if his ruling should be extended.

Trump's first travel order was more sweeping than the second revised order. Like the current one, it barred citizens of Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen from entering the United States for 90 days, but it also included Iraq, which was subsequently taken off the list.

12352568896?profile=original

The revised ban also excluded legal permanent residents and existing visa holders and provided waivers for various categories of immigrants with ties to the United States.

Hawaii and other opponents of the ban claimed that the motivation behind it was Trump's campaign promise of "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States."

In Washington state, a group of plaintiffs applying for immigrant visas asked U.S. District Judge James Robart in Seattle - who suspended the first ban - to stop the new order. Robart was appointed to the bench by Republican former President George W. Bush.

Judge Robart said he would issue a written ruling, but did not specify a time line.

Video After The Jump

Shad Moss pka Bow Wow probably has his public relations people scrambling to put out the inferno of controversy he caused on Wednesday, March 15, when he jumped into the Snoop Dogg vs President Trump beef.

As I type this I'm realizing how absurd it is for the President of the United States to be involved in a dispute with a rapper, but we'll table that discussion for another day.

To make sense of all of this we need to double back to our story about Snoop depicting a mock assassination of Trump in his new "Lavender" remix music video.

12352584853?profile=original

The scene has drawn criticism for Republican senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. It also elicited a direct tweet to Snoop from Trump, who believes the "Murder Was the Case" hit maker would be in locked up if he had the same thing using former president Barack Obama.

12352584893?profile=original

"Can you imagine what the outcry would be if , failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!" Trump tweeted Wednesday morning, March 15.

12352584661?profile=original

Which brings us to Bow Wow. He came to the defense of his former mentor by tweeting to Trump that if he didn't back off of Snoop he would put his wife, Melania Trump, to work as a prostitute.

12352584687?profile=original

"Ayo @realDonaldTrump shut your punk ass up talking shit about my uncle @SnoopDogg before we pimp your wife and make her work for us," Bow Wow typed.

12352585675?profile=original

Trump hasn't responded, but the savages on Twitter did. Check out some of the reaction below.

Meek Mill ran into some legal trouble on Wednesday, March 15, at St. Louis International Airport. According to TMZ, the 29-year old Philadelphia native, born Robert Williams, got into a physical altercation with an airport employee.

The alleged incident began when the employee asked for an autograph. Meek turned the request down, triggering a fight.

Two airport workers and the "House Party" rapper were charged with misdemeanor assault. They were given a summons to appear in court in lieu of arrest.

12352583288?profile=original

This normally would not be that big of a deal, but because Meek is already on probation for a 2009 drug and gun conviction in Philadelphia, this incident could result in a violation.
