J. Cole's Roc Nation debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story, has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Cole tweeted the news earlier today to his 1.5 million followers.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Cole has already started working on his sophomore album.

I don’t know how many, but I got songs that didn’t make the last album that are automatically going to make this one,” he told Hot 106’s Rise & Grind morning show in October, before revealing the target release date. “June. End of June, maybe June.”

Congrats to Cole on a job well done.

In trailer No. 2 from Young Jeezy's documentary "A Hustlers Ambition" he addresses a long running beef he had with fellow Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane.

The feud started in 2005 over a dispute regarding the song "Icy," which appeared on Gucci's album Trap House. Jeezy alleged that he was never paid for his appearance on the song. The two rappers dropped several diss tracks aimed at each other. The feud peaked when Jeezy released a track titled "Stay Strapped" where he offered a $10,000 bounty for Gucci Mane's chain.

"I want that muthafuckin' bullsh*t-ass icy chain," Jeezy says on the track "I got a bounty on that sh*t, n*gga, 10 stacks. So if he come to your town. And you just happen to snatch that muthaf*cker off his neck. I'm gonna shoot you the 10-stack, man. So I can cremate that muthaf*cker."

On May 10, 2005, five men stormed a house where Gucci was at visiting a woman. In the struggle that ensued one of the men, Henry Lee Clark III aka Pookie Loc was shot and killed. Loc was allegedly an associate of Jeezy's.

Gucci was charged with murder, but the charges were later dropped due to lack of evidence.

DJ Drama helped squash the beef between Gucci and Jeezy in 2010.

In a clip from the Samuel L. Jackson narrated "A Hustlers Ambition" documentary that will be included in the deluxe edition of Jeezy's album, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition, the Snowman recalls the beef.

"I remember just not being able to talk to nobody," Jeezy says. "I felt like I was in a vulnerable state so I didn't want people around me. So I only had certain people that came and could communicate with me.  I didn’t look at it as rap sh*t. I don’t do rap beef, that’s for rappers my n*gga.

Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition will be available December 20.

The most hilarious part is when "Baby Lil Wayne" gets a text from Birdman telling him he kissed another man. The kid immediately snatches Stunna's picture off the wall and trashes it.

Fans will get the chance to see 50 Cent's most dramatic role as an actor tomorrow night when his film "All Things Fall Apart" premiere's on BET as part of Black Star Cinema.

In the movie 50 plays a college football star who receives devastating news when he is diagnosed with cancer. To accurately portray the role, Fif lost more than 50 pounds. The weight loss drastically changed the rapper/actor's appearance and showed his ability to adapt to any role. He drew praise from the movie's director Mario Van Peebles for his commitment and acting ability.

Everyone has a different skill set that takes us inside his or her characters and 50 Cent’s got good timing. I think he really held his own against actors like Ray Liotta, Lynn Whitfield and myself — we’ve all been in the game for awhile,” Van Peebles told BET.com back in September. “He never gave up. 50 was ready and I really worked him all the way. He really has a natural sense for acting. I had to lose weight — about 20 pounds when I played Malcolm X in Ali, but 50 Cent was losing so much weight I started calling him twenty-five cents. He lost a lot of weight to do the role," Van Peebles continued. "And we just timed it out so that 50 could slowly add the weight back on when we would shoot certain scenes. He was dedicated, incredibly focused and took it really seriously."

In a May 2010 interview with MTV, 50 explained why he was so committed to the role.

"I had a friend of mine who actually experienced cancer, and it's what motivated me to write this screenplay," 50 said. "You don't have to make everything personal, but that project was. That's why I committed to playing a role where I lost 54 pounds. I had to discipline myself enough until I achieved it but ... I got it."

"All Things Fall Apart" will be shown Saturday December 3 on BET at 9:30P/8:30C. The film has also been picked up by Image Entertainment and will be released to theaters in early 2012.

Astro's journey on X-Factor ended last night (December 1) when he was eliminated from the competition. The 15-year old had many stand out performances during his time on the show and has nothing to be ashamed of. He made it further than any rapper could have ever dreamed of in a competition that is geared more towards finding singers.

Astro showed class during his exit by hugging fellow contestants Marcus Canty and Drew as well as his mentor L.A. Reid and judge Simon Cowell.

"Hey, man, it's for the better," Astro told host Steve Jones. "The only reason I'm mad is 'cause I don't get to see my girl that lives in Cali, but I will be back... I love y'all. Team Astro ya'll know what time it is baby, let's go. I've gained a lot of fans. People got picket signs tonight. I wish y'all two (Marcus Canty and Drew) the best of luck. It aint over here"

L.A. Reid had kind words for the teen.

"This is one of the most fascinating guys I've ever met," Reid said. "His talents are endless, his career is promising to be amazing."

50 Cent is being careful not to reveal too many details regarding features on his upcoming fifth studio album, but he made an exception in his new XXL interview.

Fif told the publication he would like to have Odd Future singer Frank Ocean on the disc.

Who else, other than Eminem did you collaborate with as an artist?
See, he’s the usual suspect so I could disclose that. But I’m just gonna hold on to my goodies because I don’t know when these people gonna be ready. I thought I was ready a while ago.

Don’t be surprised [laughs]. You know who I wanna work with though? I wanna work with the kid Frank Ocean. I like his voice. I just gotta figure out what it is. I’ll try to figure that out before I get to him.

50 also revealed that there will be production from Alex Da Kid and Boi-1da on the album.

What other collaborations would you like to see on 50's new album? Sound off in the comment section below.

T.I. and Tiny appeared on the Wendy Williams show to promote their new VH1 reality series "T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle."

During this brief two minute clip, the talk show host seemed more interested in talking about Tip's recent trouble with the law.

Williams asked Tiny about 50 Cent's comments that she should have taken the charge when the couple were arrested in Los Angeles in September 2010 for possession of ecstacy. Tiny started to answer the question but was interrupted by Tip, who said he and 50 have talked and reached an understanding on the issue.

I’ve already been very vocal about how I felt as it pertains to that,” he said. “I’ve since had a conversation with Fif and we have a concise understanding.

DJ Pauly D officially became a member of the G-Unit/G-Note family today (December 1) after inking a deal with 50 Cent.

The "Jersey Shore" star had made no secret about the fact he wanted to work with 50 Cent.

50 cent has also been somebody I looked up to. We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that," he told XXL back in August.

Fans can expect to hear a fresh new sound from Pauly, who compared his music to that of French producer David Guetta.

"It's going to be a little bit of everything," Pauly told Billboard about his upcoming album. "It's kind of David Guetta but my own DJ Pauly D style."

50 told the Associated Press that Pauly was a "great addition to G-Note and G-Unit family" and called him smart and creative.

Video After The Jump

JoJo Simmons has been making headlines recently, and not the kind he would like.

Rev. Run's son talked to The Breakfast Club this morning about rumors he was held hostage at a Houston strip club. He also addressed a story that came out recently about trying to hook up with a transsexual through Twitter.

JoJo said the strip club incident was a misunderstanding with a promoter. He explained that he was paid an appearance fee, but had to temporarily give $400 of it back because the promoter thought he would be bringing ball players with him.

"Basically it was a back and forth thing of where's his money, he didn't want to give it to certain people he gave it to. He meant to give it to ball players... he was told ball players were coming, all this stuff," JoJo said. "So it came down to the promoter just told me [to] pay him $400 and I'll give it back to you when you get to your hotel. I even asked the dude at a certain point, 'you holding me hostage right now?' He like 'nah' and opened the back door like 'you can leave.' He didn't know the people who jerked him and I was trying to help him figure it out."

JoJo then addressed the story that he tried to smash a transsexual.

12349101453?profile=original

"I never met up with the person, it was all through Twitter," said JoJo. "It was a big misunderstanding. At first the [avatar] was a female's backside and I would not lie. I was dumb by dropping my number that quick like 'oh my God a butt,' just being a horny little kid. When the tranny was sending pictures it was only sending backside. So I was like 'yo, send me a picture of your face.' So in the morning I received a picture of the face and I'm like 'they got some manly features, this is a man.' So this is exactly what I wrote back to the tranny. 'This is not JoJo, this is his cousin. He hits girls from other numbers and he's gonna hit you up if he's messing with you, but I highly doubt it.' And that's what I left it at, and I guess the tranny had got mad and came out two days later and put out all that stuff, but I never met up with the tranny."
