DJ Pauly D officially became a member of the G-Unit/G-Note family today (December 1) after inking a deal with 50 Cent.
The "Jersey Shore" star had made no secret about the fact he wanted to work with 50 Cent.
“50 cent has also been somebody I looked up to. We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that," he told XXL back in August.
Fans can expect to hear a fresh new sound from Pauly, who compared his music to that of French producer David Guetta.
"It's going to be a little bit of everything," Pauly told Billboard about his upcoming album. "It's kind of David Guetta but my own DJ Pauly D style."
50 told the Associated Press that Pauly was a "great addition to G-Note and G-Unit family" and called him smart and creative.
