J. Cole's Roc Nation debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story, has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Cole tweeted the news earlier today to his 1.5 million followers.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Cole has already started working on his sophomore album.
“I don’t know how many, but I got songs that didn’t make the last album that are automatically going to make this one,” he told Hot 106’s Rise & Grind morning show in October, before revealing the target release date. “June. End of June, maybe June.”
Congrats to Cole on a job well done.
