With heavyweight accomplishments in the foundation of his career, Devious is laying the groundwork for his new mixtape, “Memoires.” The mixtape comes after his XLP distributed album, “Independent Rap Hustler” and features some of New Orleans’ finest on the mic. From former incarcerated and No Limit artist Mac, to Lil Wayne’s “Mrs. Officer” artist feature, Kidd Kidd, to former No Limit rapper Fiend, Devious assembled a talented team. Fans can also look out for the new album from one of the featured artists, Mac as he inspires, builds, and uplifts the youths through school lectures, interviews, and music. Devious is using his status and platform to uplift newer artists, giving them advice about industry business he wishes he had coming up. Thus far he has shone light on New Orleans’ next generation of Emcees like Jay Arson, Michael Orleanz, and Lil Wayne’s former Squad Up crewmate, Raw Dizzy. “Memories” will continue to showcase the many talents throughout the city known for its iconic Jazz, bounce music, No Limit Records, and Cash Money/Young Money Records. Virginia Tech University swimmer Reka Gyorgy is calling on fans & fellow female swimmers to boycott future competitions in response to her place in the NCAA finals being "stolen" from her by "biological male" University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas.
Gyorgy — a decorated college athlete from Hungary who competed in the 2016 Olympics — was left on the outside looking in at the NCAA championships last week.
Her 17th-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle pushed her one spot out of finals contention for the race, which controversial transgender swimmer Lia Thomas would go on to win, posting the fastest time recorded all season.
In her first year swimming for the Penn women’s team after three seasons competing against men, Thomas throttled her competition.
It was Gyorgy's last chance to compete in the race in her collegiate career & she reportedly posted one of her fastest personal times all season. But it wasn't enough.
In a tweet posted on Sunday, Gyorgy made her feelings on the matter clearly known.
"My finals spot was stolen by Lia Thomas, who is a biological male," she stated, adding, "Until we all refuse to compete nothing will change. Thanks for all the support retweets & follows I won't stop fighting."

We're glad that Kid Trunks survived this attempt on his life and wish him a speedy recovery as he also battles cancer.
In this clip, Boosie takes on the topic of radio personality Mr. Cee getting caught with a transgender woman before stating that it would be nearly impossible for a gangsta rapper to maintain their credibility if they were ever caught in a similar predicament. Lastly, the Baton Rouge rapper attempts to give advice to the rappers who are currently "In the Closet."

GROVELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A Michigan teenager accused of burning her father by throwing chemicals on him last fall is facing a homicide charge following his recent death at a hospital.
Megan Joyce Imirowicz, 18, of Groveland Township in Oakland County was charged last year with one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and one count of domestic violence.
Imirowicz was released on bond, but after her father died of his burns this month she was taken back into custody and charged with homicide, local media reported.
She is being held at the Oakland County Jail. Court records show Imirowicz faces a March 21 probable cause hearing.
State police say Imirowicz mixed a deadly concoction containing lye powder and drain cleaner and doused her father, who suffered severe burns all over his body and died in Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc on March 6.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Deputies seized pounds of fentanyl after a drug investigation in North Carolina that was enough to kill 390,000 people.
According to deputies, they executed a search warrant at the home of Donald Robert Lynch on Spencer Road in Archdale. Detectives sized “a trafficking amount” of fentanyl & methamphetamine, bath salts & steroids. Six firearms & drug paraphernalia were also seized.
After the search of the Archdale home, the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office assisted in a search warrant at a business in Bennett, North Carolina believed to be operated by Lynch.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WBTW) — The South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) informed Attorney General Alan Wilson Friday that executions are now able to be carried out by firing squad as required by law, according to a news release.
The law, which went into effect in May 2021, makes South Carolina’s primary method of execution the electric chair, but allows inmates to choose between firing squad or lethal injection, if available, according to the release.
The Capital Punishment Facility at Broad River Correctional Institution has been redone to have the capacity for execution by firing squad, according to the release.
At the facility, a chair has been added to the corner of the room away from the electric chair and bullet-resistant glass was installed between the death chamber and witness room. The chair faces a wall. Three firing squad members will be behind the wall with their rifles facing the inmate through an opening, according to the release. The rifles and opening are not visible from the witness room.
All three rifles will be loaded with live ammunition, according to the release. The witnesses will only see the right-side profile of the inmate. The inmate will wear a prison-issued uniform and will be able to make a last statement.
The inmate will be strapped into a chair with a hood over their head, according to the release. An aim point will be placed over the inmate’s heart and the team will fire after the warden reads the execution order.
The release states a doctor will then examine the inmate and once declared dead, a curtain will be pulled and the witnesses will be escorted out.
Firing squad members will be volunteer employees with SCDC and will have to meet certain requirements.
SCDC said the cost to make the upgrades was $53,600.

Video released on Saturday showed SWAT team members eventually taking the man into custody at the home located in the 18700 block of Northwest 84th Passage.
The daughter, who was not seen in the video, was not identified and also not injured according to Miami-Dade Police.
MDPD described the scene as a "domestic related incident" and said the man barricaded himself in the home before he was taken into custody.
Police have not released the man's identity or details on the case at this time.
In a matter of weeks, COVID-19 pandemic fears in Europe have given way to another concern that nightmares are made of: the possibility that Russia could use a nuclear weapon.
Since Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine, U.S. and overseas manufacturers of residential bunkers say they've seen a spike in customer inquiries and orders — a surge they attribute to the war in Eastern Europe and Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision late last month to put his country's nuclear forces on alert.
Gary Lynch, general manager of Rising S Company, a residential bunker builder based in Murchison, Texas, said he recently started receiving inquiries from prospective customers in Italy, Romania, Sweden and the U.K., in addition to the U.S. and Canada.
"We've got a world superpower threatening to use nuclear weapons; that alone is enough to be scary," he told CBS MoneyWatch.
Manufacturers say the pre-fab shelters will withstand exposure to chemical, biological and nuclear attacks. Some use a steel frame strong enough to resist earthquakes and include bullet-resistant doors. The highest-end models — which can cost millions of dollars — may include air filtration systems, solar charging stations, fresh water inlets, waste removal tanks and infrared security.
Rising S makes bunkers in a local factory and ships them overseas. Over a recent 10-day period, Lynch said he got 1,600 inquiries from people interested in an underground shelter where they could take refuge in the event of a nuclear incident. That compares with the two to six calls he normally would have fielded over that same span of time from consumers looking to build a panic room or secure storage spaces for weapons or valuables.
Forty of those customer inquiries led to sales of bunkers ranging in price from $60,000 to around $200,000, including installation.
Interest in residential bunkers is coming from people across the income ladder. Mathieu Séranne, founder of Artemis Protection, a Paris-based company that sells and installs luxury, prefabricated bunkers for a variety of uses, said he's noticed a similar uptick in interest for his company's products.
Before the war, Séranne's 1-year-old company primarily worked with wealthy clients, but interest in shelters is now pouring in from people of various income levels in Finland, France, Poland, Russia, the U.S. and Canada, he told CBS MoneyWatch. That includes inquiries from entrepreneurs, a doctor, a postal worker and an Amazon worker, among others.
