Via TMZ -- Tekashi69's got a date with the judge -- he got a trial date in court Monday morning after he entered a plea in his federal racketeering case.
The rapper -- who has been behind bars since Nov. 18 -- was in court, where he entered a not guilty plea. The judge set his trial date for September 4. That's a long way off and, at least for now, it seems 6ix9ine will remain behind bars for much of that period ... if not all of it.
The issue of bail was not addressed in court. As we reported, his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, plans to apply for bail directly to the trial judge. Tekashi was denied bail when Lazzaro offered to pay $750k, surrender his passport and remain on house arrest.
TMZ broke the story ... Tekashi and 2 former associates, including his manager, Shottie, were arrested by federal agents on racketeering and other serious charges. According to his indictment, obtained by TMZ, Tekashi and his crew conspired to commit a slew of crimes, including drug deals, armed robberies and shootings.
The feds believe Tekashi himself pulled an armed robbery on April 3 along with his ex-manager, Shottie, and 2 other members of the Nine Trey Bloods.
The indictment also mentions the April 21 shooting incident at Barclays Center in Brooklyn ... and fingers Fuguan Lovick as the trigger man. In all, the indictment lists 17 counts dating back to 2013.
As we first reported ... Tekashi was moved to a new detention center just in time for Thanksgiving ... and, so far, he's having a rough time of it there.

Hosted by industry heavyweight DJ Whoo Kid, this record presents us with a modern Hip Hop onslaught of swag rhythms and track bangers that is perfect for today’s hottest radio stations and club hotspots. But at the same time, can still maintain to fit in with records that go from the street to your stereo as well as the underground circuit. One of the key validations to Staging Lanes CC is the consistency of the album. It doesn’t veer from its direction and really puts Country C at the forefront in each track to showcase his versatile lyrical techniques and vocal charisma. It isn’t overly-doused with feature artists drowning him out and we get several laid back moments of CC‘s craft as well as a sensation of hype that keeps us on our toes. And that’s the second thing to point out – this album keeps you on your toes. CC comes out swinging from the very first track and always manages to keep his momentum. There are no senses of struggle or settling when it comes to these tracks, and even paying attention to the post production you can tell each hook and measure has been gone over with a fine tooth comb. There’s beats that have ambience and atmospheric textures, and others that are straight up and in-your-face with its warranted energy. And both of these approaches resonate perfectly as the album plays out, and they never try to outdo each other. Staging Lanes CC is definitely an album we could hear on HOT 97 here in NYC, and is almost tragic that we currently don’t. But judging from the direction that CC is going with the growth of his fan base and critical acclaim with each release, it’s just a matter of time before he takes his place alongside the game’s major players and makes his way to the top. Its been a while since we've heard some real versatility in today's Hip Hop. Everybody likes the same sound, so everybody uses the same sound. Now I'm not gonna say, indie artist Cheikh didn't borrow the over used style too...but he did it with finesse. And it wasn't all he did on this album.
"Star Shit," the latest release from Cheikh, just hit the popular Tidal website. The 16 song project features a variety of sound and style and can easily be classified as a hip hop classic. Cheikh drops raw metaphors and real knowledge through out the project Switching up styles he covers everything from todays Hip=Pop sound to rugged and raw hip hop. It isn't everyday we can say in full confidence we have come across a project that's hot and attention grabbing from beginning to end, but Cheikh's "Star Shit" is one we will make that statement of and stand by it.
