Omarion has to be wondering why certain people seem hell bent on ruining his career.
The singer has been dogged by rumors regarding his sexuality recently. First former B2K member Raz-B and his brother Ricky Romance declared the "Ice Box" singer was homosexual. Then on Saturday (January 8) a press release was sent out announcing Omarion was bisexual.
Omarion says the press release was fake, but here is what it said:
“I pride myself in being an honest, God Fearing, respectful man. I have kept my personal life private and wanted to keep it that way. Unfortunately, other’s are interested in profiting from my anguish; so before they can do that, i will clarify things. I am not at all what certain ex-band members are trying to paint me as, I am however a respectable, mature, proud, bisexual man.”
Omarion, who was in Japan at the time immediately denied being responsible for the press release, he tweeted his 350,000 twitter followers assuring them the press release was fake.
Soon afterwards, O's PR team sent out an official press release.
"The previously released statement regarding Omarion is false and was generated for negative publicity by an unknown person. Omarion will not contribute to anything negative said or done against him. Omarion respects all of his fans, no matter religion, sexuality, or race."
The rumors got so out of hand, Omarion became a trending topic on Twitter. Frustrated, he called into Hot 97 from Japan to speak with Funkmaster Flex and once and for all clear up the rumors.
"First and foremost let me say I did not release that statement. Whatever people like is their business, but I'm not gay or bisexual, I love women and that's just what it is." Omarion told Flex.
At this point nobody knows who sent out the fake press release, but check out the rest of what Omarion had to say about the situation to Funk Flex below.

I wouldn't expect much to come of this from the SODMG camp, although Fabolous' diss that got their beef started was similar.

Videos After The JumpMARYSVILLE, Ohio: Dashcam video being reviewed by Ohio investigators shows a police chase ending with a crash, then a suspect and officers in an exchange of gunfire.
The man pursued, 22-year-old Ricky Diamond Jr., was killed in Tuesday's gun battle in central Ohio's Union County. Three sheriff's deputies have been placed on leave amid the investigation.

The video recorded by one deputy's cruiser shows a slow-speed chase with a truck that the sheriff's office says fled from a reported domestic dispute. Officers use devices to puncture the truck's tires, but it keeps going on its rims. The chase ends when another cruiser rams the truck.
A man is then seen running out of the truck with a shotgun. The sound of shots follows, with officers coming into the frame holding weapons.

Four years after a shooting left an unarmed Sean Bell dead (on the eve of his wedding) and two of his friends wounded following a tragic incident with New York City police, the city has agreed to pay $7 million dollars to settle a federal lawsuit filed by Bell's family and his friends.
According to The New York Times, in the early hours of November 25, 2006, five New York City police officers fired 50 shots into the car Bell — who was to be married that day — was driving outside a club in Queens, New York. The car reportedly struck a detective in the leg and hit a police van before the officers began firing. None of the three men in the car — Bell and his friends Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield — were armed, although the officers apparently believed at least one was.
In what's seen as the closing chapter in one of the most controversial police shootings in New York City history — three officers were acquitted of manslaughter and reckless-endangerment charges in 2008, a ruling many activists and rappers spoke out against — the families of the victims are looking to move past the tragedy.
As part of the settlement, Bell's two young daughters (whom he had with his fiancée, Nicole Paultre Bell) will receive $3.25 million; Guzman (who was shot 17 times) and Trent Benefield will receive $3 million and $900,000 respectively, according to Times.
Earlier this week, Foxy Brown — a close friend of Bell's fiancée — said Paultre Bell is a strong woman who remained in high spirits throughout the four-year ordeal.
"She just handled everything so gracefully," Brown said. "She just did everything with grace and class."
G-Unit member Tony Yayo, whose G-Unity foundation gave proceeds from a recent event to Bell's family, said the settlement is long overdue.
"I think it's a beautiful thing, but rest in peace to Sean Bell," Yayo said. "I mean, you have times now when a police officer can shoot you in your back, handcuffed on the floor, in a train station in front of everybody and get two years," Yayo said, referring to the Oscar Grant shooting in Oakland, California, in which found a transit officer was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter last month. "So Sean Bell's people deserve that money, definitely, and blessings to them."

After being targeted by 50 Cent in a series of songs and video clips, DJ Khaled has refused to engage in a rap beef with the G-Unit frontman vowing to only "represent the music."The Def Jam South labelhead has decided to pass on the controversial rap beef with 50 Cent:"I don't deal with negative energy, it's a waste of my time and my time is valuable," he said in an interview. "I keep negative away and stay positive...At Def Jam, we promote music...We promote hit records. That's what I respect. I'm always going to represent the music; Rick Ross is gonna represent the music. If controversy comes with it, it comes with it." (MTV News)The Terror Squad associate has taken a cue from frequent collaborator Fat Joe who also recently suggested beef should be dismissed for music:"50 Cent just gotta make music," Joe said in an interview. "He does all these diversions and disses rappers to eliminate the fact that he's not really hot and relevant right now. So if two weeks ago we were talking about 50 Cent, what record or what would we really be talking about unless he disrespected Rick Ross...I'm tired of all these gimmicks and these games. This man's just gotta put out hit records. That's what we're doing...We making music. At the end of the day, we fell in love with hip-hop to make music and hit records." (Kendra G)Khaled was drawn into the recent beef between 50 Cent and Ross when 50 released a video of members of Fif's camp stalking Khaled's mother's house and place of work:"Yo, I got this lil' poem I wrote for DJ Khaled," 50 narrates. "Your car tires got stabbed out, now you know, I know where you be. I just wanna tell you what a psychic told me. I know where your mama house at. Now look, you can see. But I just wanna tell you what a psychic told me. I know where your mama work at, now look at her, asleep. I just wanna tell you what a pyschic told me. I'm not the kinda n*gga you should f*ck with, B. I'm special. I have less compassion than the average human." (ThisIs50.com)Ross, on the other hand, has disregarded suggestions to just focus on music with the release of a new 50 diss track:"N*gga you doing radio interviews, they don't wanna listen to you, they wanna hear you talk about me," Ross says in the track. "Bang Em Smurf. Queens. Forever. I appreciate the hospitality. Ricky Ross. I'm buying a loft there now. I'm building a studio there now...You haven't dropped a hit yet. You probably with [Dr.] Dre in the studio, booked up, busy. Anybody wanna get involved, you're more than welcomed...I wanna see the gorillas. I wanna meet 'em...Put your hit out on me, I'm ready." (WSHH)In my opinion: i don't care about when my fave rapper (50) raps about others but when i heard he mentioned his mom it just blew me away. After everything he went through his life I still can't believe he'd diss and talk about his mother....he doesn't even have a mother because of poisoning and no other rapper is dissing him bout that. Anyways I am always on 50's side.....I LOVE YOU FIDDY (NO HOMO), hope to meet you before the day i die....GOD BLESS.Post your opinions below [Make sure you add my page]

AllHipHop Reports
It’s been months since the release of the beef-igniting “Mafia Music.” But multi-division boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has not forgotten Rick Ross’ unprovoked jab at him.
While most focused on the lines aimed at Mayweather friend 50 Cent, Ross also questioned the validity of Mayweather’s wealth claims, despite the boxer grossing $50 million in 2007.
(“That Mayweather money looking funny in the light.”)
In an exclusive multi-part interview with AllHipHop.com, Mayweather framed Ross as an unoriginal artist who appropriated the lifestyles and appearance of other individuals.
“Cassidy already did ‘I’m a Hustla,’ [and] he’s an East Coast rapper. That’s already been done. Freeway already came out with the beard look. And then the real Rick Rosswas really getting it as a hustler,” Mayweather explained to AllHipHop.com. “I don’t have to take no shots at Rick Ross. I don’t think he’s making $20-$30 million every time he goes out there to perform. I got my own name, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. That’s original. With his rap career, I wish him nothing but the best.”
Regarding Ross’ initial flip-flopping on the corrections officer issue, Mayweather references that controversy as proof the Miami rapper is simply selling a false image.
“[His] stats and credentials don’t rhyme. One minute he said he wasn’t a CO or cop, next minute he is,” Mayweather told AllHipHop.com. “He can learn how to get money from me. If he’s a cop and rapping about selling drugs, I guess he was a dirty cop! You know me, I’m not ducking and dodging no one, it’s not hard to find me. I’m in Miami all the time, Atlanta, everywhere.”
Although cognizant that comments like his have a history of igniting “beefs,” Floyd Mayweather feels Ross is simply a disgruntled fan lashing out.
“Me and my manager Al Haymon were the ones that did Lil Wayne’s last tour. So when I seen Rick Ross in Miami on the first show, he broke his neck to speak to me,” Mayweather stated.
“Rap has truly changed. He was at my Hatton fight, cheering me on. I guess he got upset because I’m cool with 50 Cent. But like I said, if I need someone arrested I’ll call him.”
Floyd Mayweather is currently preparing for his anticipated September 19 return bout against fellow pound for pound elite Juan Manuel Marquez.
