The multitalented Naturi Naughton has proven to herself and to her supporters that her talents have greatly matured since her days in girl group 3LW. The emerging singer/actress revealed what it was like to secure her role on Starz's breakout hit, 'Power', during a recent sit down with VladTV.
First off, Naturi affirms that her road to securing the role of Tasha St. Patrick was a conventional one which included an audition, followed by a call-back, and finally a screen test. Although Naturi landed the gig she confesses, "It was a challenge though, because I was a little young for the role," and she reveals that people from the network questioned her ability to play opposite an older Omari Hardwick.
"I really had to fight for this role. And eventually, after multiple tests I had two tests and I got the part. So, I'm very lucky to be playing the ride-or-die wifey on the show," explains a thankful Naughton.
Later, the conversation covers 50 Cent's hands-on involvement with 'Power,' which is described as "instrumental" to sustaining the show's authenticity. When the interview turns to 50's character on the show, Kanan, getting released from jail, Naturi says, "It's really interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing how the fans react. He's gonna cause some havoc."

VladTV regular Charlamagne Tha God sat down for a brief chat on his near-encounter with Drake at Kanye West's fashion show, saying he was standing near the Toronto kid and didn't even realize it. He wasn't afraid that anything would happen, but Drake admittedly isn't a fan of Charlamagne. The Breakfast Club host also shared that friends have told him that Drake and his crew were even looking for him in Houston when Angela Yee and DJ Envy were in town.
In the end, Charlamagne doesn't claim to be some street guy who wants to fight, but would rather speak to Drake on air and hash things out. He actually has no problem with confrontation on the radio where fans can hear the truth straight from an artist's mouth, whether they agree with Tha God or not.

OK, for everyone who just came to see Kanye West cry you can skip to the 26.00 mark of the video below. For those interested in the full interview, stick around because it's a good one.
This is Kanye's first chat with Zane Lowe in 18 months, so they have a lot to catch up on.
He discusses fashion, the perception people have of him, looking forward to the a 5'3 model can walk the runway, "exclusivity being the new n-word," learning to communicate with corporations, his forthcoming album and working with Paul McCartney,
When the conversation shifted to Louise Wilson, the late British professor of fashion design, Kanye broke down into tears. It's the most vulnerable you will probably ever see the G.O.O.D. Music CEO.
When things resume Yeezy speaks about the purpose behind products, having moments where he thought he was going crazy, all lives having a meaning, the controversial Beck moment at the Grammy Awards, wanting more kids, possible tour with Rihanna, Drake delivering high quality music.

Andaluz the Artist created a pop art piece live for the show. He used fabric for the prom dresses and pasted accessories on the stars of this VH1 reality show to give the masterpiece a 3d effect. The background was created in layers of airbrush and spray painting which really created a sleek design. Give us your input on what E. Andaluz should paint next.
