In this clip, Nick Cannon explains why the black community in particular is hurt over the tarnished legacies of Bill Cosby, R. Kelly, and Michael Jackson, keeping in mind their signature to the culture and how they were thought of as family. That leads to a discussion on the potential motivations behind the accusers seen on Leaving Neverland, with Cannon revealing that he was mad at Oprah when she gave them her platform at an ever further cost of Jackson's legacy. Elsewhere, Cannon clarifies a recent point he made about the reaction to Harvey Weinstein, conceding that even though there's a Sundance documentary that few people have seen, he's still waiting to see his mugshot like everyone else.

Report via TMZ -- The crew believed to be responsible for attacking and robbing YBN Almighty Jay and sending him to the hospital are in federal custody, but strangely ... it has nothing to do with the rapper.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops have identified a street gang that includes Zae Numbafive as persons of interest in last weekend's assault on Jay. We're told the crew goes by the name "Jack Boyz."

Zae and 3 other Jack Boyz members were arrested Wednesday in the Bronx as part of an unrelated federal investigation ... which is even crazier. The men are facing a charge of attempted murder in the aid of racketeering -- along with firearm charges -- in connection with the shooting of an off-duty NYPD officer. Another member remains at large.

If convicted, they face up to life in prison.

Our sources say the crew was questioned by investigators after their arrest about assaulting Jay as well, and 2 members admitted to being at the scene ... but didn't fess up to any criminal activity.

We're told one of the Boyz also claimed to have past issues with Jay but said they worked it out ... but the rapper denied even knowing the crew.

Our sources say Jay told cops he's willing to cooperate with the investigation now, but doubts he can ID his attackers because there were so many of them. He claims he was robbed of his wallet, $16k in cash, a $20k chain and his shoes in the attack.

As we reported ... J Prince weighed in on the situation by calling out Zae and his crew and putting out an APB to his "mob ties" to nab them. Zae responded by posting a music vid that apparently flaunted Jay's stolen bling.

So far, no charges have been made in Jay's robbery/assault ... the investigation's ongoing.

(CTV News) -- Florida police have charged a couple and removed eight children from their custody after they “forgot” their toddler daughter at the park and reported her missing more than 14 hours later.

Police responded to reports of a young girl walking alone in a park near West Palm Beach on Saturday morning and shared a photo of the girl on social media.

“Does anyone know who the parents are of this beautiful little girl?” they wrote on Facebook and Twitter. “The child, possibly 2 years of age, was wearing a pink short-sleeve shirt, white & gold tutu and clear plastic shoes.”

The parents, Jolanda and Makenson Alexandre, told police they “did not realize” they left her at the park the night before around 7 p.m. when they reported her missing the next morning around 11:40 a.m.

The state child welfare agency were in possession of the child and later removed seven other children from the couple’s home.

“Both parents were arrested and each charged with one count of Neglect of Child,” the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on Facebook.

Report via NBC News - LOS ANGELES — Nineteen people were injured Monday night, four of them critically, when chaos erupted in the Los Angeles neighborhood where hundreds had gathered to honor the slain rapper Nipsey Hussle, law enforcement officials said.

Fire officials initially said they were responding to reports that a shot or shots had been fired near the intersection of West Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard in South Los Angeles. But police said reports that shots had been fired didn't appear to be accurate.

Law enforcement officials told NBC News that at least one person had been stabbed. The nature of the other injuries wasn't immediately clear, but numerous people fell or were knocked to the ground as panicked crowds fled the scene.

Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore said in an interview on KNX radio that a disturbance, possibly a fight, broke out about 8:30 p.m., which set off "a cascading series of events that caused a lot of turmoil."

"Uncertainty can cause people to swarm and move in these heavy flows," Moore said, adding that in the confusion, "some individuals in the group were attacking or striking someone else."

Police issued a citywide tactical alert as scores of helmeted officers raced to the intersection.

Hussle, whose debut studio album, "Victory Lap," was nominated for Best Rap Album at this year's Grammy Awards, was shot and killed Sunday in the parking lot outside his Marathon Clothing store. A suspect remained at large Monday night.

(Fox News) -- Actor Omari Hardwick felt the wrath of Beyoncé’s fans Sunday after footage of him kissing the superstar singer twice on her cheek was called out as inappropriate.

A video posted online shows the “Power” actor greeting Beyoncé at the 50th NAACP Image Awards this past weekend.

When Hardwick embraces the singer, who took home the Entertainer of the Year award, he kisses her on the right cheek and gives her a hug. He then kisses her on the cheek a second time.

Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z was just feet away.

The encounter quickly drew the ire of fans who argued that it demonstrated the ways in which women find themselves in uncomfortable situations with men.

"2nd kiss was unnecessary & uncomfortable. Don't do that again," tweeted user @farhana_io. "We women so often get touched, kissed, groped & poked in instances exactly like this (at an event, at work, etc). WE DON'T LIKE IT. It's time to no longer let these moments of discomfort slide."

Other fans flooded Hardwick’s Instagram page with bee emoji’s, signifying Beyonce’s superlative title “Queen Bey,” according to E! News.

This is why the #metoo movement is important,” one Instagram user wrote. “No matter how famous and powerful a woman is, there will always be some … inappropriate man who feels like he has the right to take your manner and generosity as an invitation to make you uncomfortable. You disrespected your wife, your children, Beyoncé and Jay Z and need to apologize.”

A representative for Hardwick could not be reached for comment, E! reported. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have not publicly commented on the encounter.

(WPBF) -- A Florida man showed up to a junior high school with a loaded AK-47 pistol after his son video-called him to say he was "slammed" by a teacher, according to police.

Christopher Freeman, 27, showed up to school visibly upset on Monday because of the alleged incident. He was arrested at Bear Lakes Middle School and charged with possession of a firearm on school property, aggravated assault and disruption of a school function, WPTV reports.

The school's assistant principal told police Freeman told him in an ambiguous threat during a call that "you're all dead" in relation to the incident with his son.

A school resource officer said he located Freeman in front of the school's main office with a gun sticking out of the front of his pants.

"I want to see the guy who slammed my son. I've got something for him," Freeman said, according to an arrest report.

Officers put the school on lockdown and searched Freeman – finding a loaded AK-47 Mini Draco pistol, according to police.

According to the arrest report, Freeman said he received a FaceTime call from his son at 3 p.m. He told police his son was crying, saying a teacher had slammed him.

Freeman, whose bond was set at $75,000, told police he was upset and came to the school, but didn't realize he was carrying the weapon because he carries it all the time for protection. Freeman told police he didn't intend to harm anyone.

In this clip, Lisa Van Allen offers more details in regards to even more archived R. Kelly sex tapes, where she recalls stealing one of the tapes that she performed in with another underage girl. She remembers her motivation stemmed from Kelly's manager threatening her life, and that the tape she stole was one of many tapes of a larger collection. From there, Van Allen says Kelly paid $250K to get the tape back from her, yet she emphasizes that he offered to pay the money, therefore the transaction wasn't a result of extortion.

(Washington Post) -- SACRAMENTO — Nearly a year after an unarmed black man was fatally shot by Sacramento police, prosecutors on Saturday announced there would be no charges against the two officers who fired at and killed Stephon Clark.

Clark, a 22-year-old father of two, was fatally shot March 18 as he ran to the backyard of his grandmother’s Sacramento home while police were responding to a neighbor’s call about someone breaking into cars. Officers said they began shooting at Clark because they thought he was holding a gun. He was later found to have been holding an iPhone.

Police body camera and helicopter footage later showed the officers had fired at Clark 20 times. The official coroner’s report concluded Clark was shot seven times, while an independent autopsy ordered by Clark’s family showed he had been struck eight times, including six in the back.

Clark’s shooting sparked demonstrations in California’s capital and nationwide. In January, Clark’s family filed a $20 million lawsuit against the city of Sacramento.

At a news conference Saturday, Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert acknowledged the “tremendous grief, anger and anxiety by the Clark family and by this community” since the shooting. She said she had met that morning with Clark’s mother, whose grief was “very apparent.”

“There is no question that the death of Stephon Clark is a tragedy, not just for his family but for this community,” Schubert said. “My job as a district attorney is to make sure that we conduct a full, fair and independent review of this shooting. That job means that I follow the facts in the law and that, in that process of this review, that we treat everyone with dignity, grace and fairness.”

Schubert announced that a months-long investigation supported the conclusion that the officers — Terrence Mercadal and Jared Robinet — were justified in using deadly force against Clark.

“We must recognize that [police officers] are often forced to make split-second decisions. We must also recognize that they are under tense, uncertain and rapidly evolving circumstances,” Schubert said. “That is the crux of this whole case: Did the officers have an honest and reasonable belief they needed to defend themselves?” In this case, the officers believed they did, Schubert said.

After the decision was announced, Clark’s mother — flanked by family members at a somber news conference — said it was “only the beginning” of the family’s fight for justice.

“We’re outraged,” SeQuette Clark told reporters. “They executed my son. They executed him in my mom’s backyard. And it is not right. It is not right. . . . We’re not going to accept that. We’ve been sitting for a year patiently allowing [Schubert] an opportunity to do right, and she has failed us.”

In particular, Clark took issue with Schubert’s decision to reveal text messages and other evidence Saturday that indicated her son had been suicidal and having domestic problems before the shooting.

“What was on his cellphone with [Stephon Clark] and his baby’s mother has zero to do with the actions of the police officers at the time of his homicide,” SeQuette Clark said. “What should be under investigation and in your report is solely the actions of your officers. It’s not hard. It’s simple. . . . Stop trying to justify by looking at a person’s character or your assumption or judgment or opinion of him because you didn’t know him.”

For more than an hour during the news conference, Schubert had reviewed extensive footage and evidence gathered from the moments leading up to the shooting, some of which she said was new. For instance, Schubert said DNA analysis showed Clark was the suspect in the vehicle break-ins that had prompted a neighbor to call 911.

“That was not known at the time,” Schubert said.

Investigators concluded Clark, on the night of the shooting, had smashed three car windows, jumped fences into backyards and smashed the rear sliding window of a home while a helicopter was overhead, Schubert said.

She also replayed body camera footage of the moments just before the shooting, warning that it was “graphic and troubling to watch.”

In the video, the two officers can be seen following Clark into a dark backyard, later realized to be the home of Clark’s grandmother. As they rounded the corner, Clark was at least 30 feet away behind a picnic table, Schubert said.

In the video, Mercadal can be heard shouting: “Show me your hands! Gun! Show me your hands! Gun, gun, gun!”

Immediately afterward, the officers can be heard firing 20 times in the video. Then, an officer is heard saying: “He is down. No movement. We’re going to need additional units.”

Schubert also slowed down frames from body camera video that showed a “flash of light” in Clark’s hands that Mercadal said he believed was a muzzle flash from a gun, while Robinet said he believed it was light reflecting off a gun.

“They don’t have to wait to get shot to use deadly force,” Schubert said.

After the announcement, Jamilia Land, a close family friend of the Clarks, told The Washington Post she was not surprised by the decision. She called the news conference a “smear campaign” against Clark.

"It’s what is to be expected, a smear campaign on the deceased person’s life before inflicting the final wound of ‘there will be no charges,’ " Land said in a phone interview Saturday afternoon. “We live in a country where if we have a young white shooter who’s gone in and killed a slew of people, there are de-escalation tactics used. . . . That is a part of the outrage we feel in the African American community.”

During the interview, Land abruptly excused herself, then called back shortly afterward, sobbing, to say paramedics were taking Clark’s grandmother to the hospital. She had already been under extreme stress since Clark’s death, and the events of the day had been “too much,” Land said.

“The anxiety and waiting to hear this news, the fact that he’s gone and there’s no coming back and there’s no justice,” Land said. “It’s literally breaking her heart. It’s killing all of us. We want to stop being killed! We’re tired of being gunned down senselessly. Our lives matter.”

Ben Crump and Dale Galipo, attorneys for the Clark family, vowed to pursue justice through the civil courts.

“The key and inescapable fact that the DA failed to even acknowledge is that Stephon was shot in the back multiple times,” Crump said in a statement. “If he was advancing on the officers, why was he shot in the back and the side? Why were 20 shots fired, striking him eight times, even while falling to the ground and while on the ground? These facts cannot be reconciled with the DA’s narrative that the officers were in fear of their lives.”

The decision not to charge the officers was not a surprise for some. In emails sent earlier this week, lawmakers were urged to avoid California’s Capitol during the weekend, while downtown Sacramento business owners were advised to prepare for protests, the Sacramento Bee reported, leading to speculation that the district attorney’s decision might upset the community.

At a news conference later Saturday evening, Clark’s girlfriend, Salena Manni, said, “My boys Aidan and Cairo have to grow up without their father, and I have to continue on as a single parent without Stephon.” Manni paused frequently to weep as she spoke to reporters. “Please don’t stop advocating for legislation and policies that could protect other families from suffering this overwhelming pain and immense sense of loss,” she said.

Shortly after the news conference, the Sacramento chapter of Black Lives Matter tweeted for supporters to “COME THRU NOW!!!!” and listed the address of Sacramento police headquarters.

By early evening, a few dozen protesters had gathered in the rain-drenched parking lot of the police station. Some protesters held a Black Lives Matter banner that read, “We must love and support one another.” Others held signs that read “Fire! Charge! Convict!,” “Honk for justice” and “Stop killing our kids!”

“Nothing is being done,” 23-year-old Breanna Martin, of south Sacramento, told the crowd. “You saw today what happened. Nothing happens.”

After Martin spoke, she walked off to a corner of the parking lot. Others followed. Martin began to cry and hugged the other protesters.

As a round of speeches ended, a protester headed to the middle of the circle and burned a black-and-white American flag that featured a thin blue line across the center, a pro-police symbol. Some protesters, posing for a photo in front of the police station doors, gave a middle finger to officers lined up inside behind the glass.

“No one should die over a broken window,” said Victor Brazelton, 39, of Sacramento. “Cops shouldn’t have more rights than the people.”

Deon Taylor, 45, of Sacramento came to the rally with his family. He said he wanted to show his 14-year-old daughter, Milan, what it means to be black in America. He said he hoped more young people would choose to become police officers and patrol their own neighborhoods, where they know who people are and how to ask the right questions.

The American Civil Liberties Union called for “immediate reform” of California’s law on the use of deadly force after the district attorney’s announcement.

“No family should have to live through what Mr. Clark’s family is going through: first traumatized by a system of policing that violently and unjustly takes the lives of unarmed Black men at alarming rates and retraumatized again by a justice system that is set up to sanction these unnecessary killings,” Lizzie Buchen, legislative advocate for the ACLU of the California Center for Advocacy and Policy, said in a statement.

Clark’s family members have been advocating for the passage of Assembly Bill 392, which would establish clearer use-of-force guidelines, including mandating that police use de-escalation tactics whenever possible.

The Sacramento Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment Saturday.

Mayor Darrell Steinberg said in an interview last year that he was “extremely conscious” of the concerns many have expressed regarding police accountability in recent years. “There is deep pain and anguish” in Sacramento, he said. “It’s our job to bear some of that pain and to help translate the anguish and grieving and the historic pain [of black communities] into tangible and real change.”

Just under 1,000 people are shot and killed by police officers each year, according to The Washington Post’s database. A handful of those shootings lead to criminal charges, and convictions are even more rare, which has prompted intense criticism from civil rights activists across the country.

Mark Berman and Alex Horton contributed to this report.

Report via BBC -- A 27-year-old Indian man plans to sue his parents for giving birth to him without his consent.

Mumbai businessman Raphael Samuel told the BBC that it's wrong to bring children into the world because they then have to put up with lifelong suffering.

Mr Samuel, of course, understands that our consent can't be sought before we are born, but insists that "it was not our decision to be born."

So as we didn't ask to be born, we should be paid for the rest of our lives to live, he argues.

A demand like this could cause a rift within any family, but Mr Samuel says he gets along very well with his parents (both of whom are lawyers) and they appear to be dealing with it with a lot of humor.

In a statement, his mother Kavita Karnad Samuel explained her response to "the recent upheaval my son has created."

"I must admire my son's temerity to want to take his parents to court knowing both of us are lawyers. And if Raphael could come up with a rational explanation as to how we could have sought his consent to be born, I will accept my fault," she said.

Mr Samuel's belief is rooted in what's called anti-natalism - a philosophy that argues that life is so full of misery that people should stop procreating immediately.

This, he says, would gradually phase out humanity from the Earth and that would also be so much better for the planet.

"There's no point to humanity. So many people are suffering. If humanity is extinct, Earth and animals would be happier. They'll certainly be better off. Also no human will then suffer. Human existence is totally pointless."

Mr Samuel says he remembers first having anti-natalist thoughts when he was five.

"I was a normal kid. One day I was very frustrated and I didn't want to go to school but my parents kept asking me to go. So I asked them: 'Why did you have me?' And my dad had no answer. I think if he'd been able to answer, maybe I wouldn't have thought this way."

As the idea grew and took shape in his mind, he decided to tell his parents about it. He says his mom reacted "very well" and dad too "is warming up" to the idea.

"Mom said she wished she had met me before I was born and that if she did, she definitely wouldn't have had me," he says laughing and adds that she does see reason in his argument.

"She told me that she was quite young when she had me and that she didn't know she had another option. But that's what I'm trying to say - everyone has the option."

Report via TMZ -- Both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are both effectively suspended for 6 months for their roles in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl.

Conor was hit with a $50,000 fine -- and will be eligible to fight again on April 6.

Khabib's suspension is a little different -- he was hit with a $500,000 fine and a 9-month suspension ... with the ability to get a 3-month reduction IF he makes an anti-bullying video.

Neither UFC star was present Tuesday when the case went in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. They each had lawyers appearing on their behalf.

The board agreed to a 9-month suspension for Khabib -- with the ability to reduce the suspension to 6 months if they're satisfied with Khabib's PSA video.

Khabib has about a month to complete his video if he wants to get the full 3-month reduction.

The suspension is retroactive to the Oct. 6 incident -- meaning if his PSA video is approved quickly, he'll be able to fight again in April.

Of course, Khabib went berserk after defeating Conor in the 4th round of his Oct. 6 fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas -- jumping out of the cage and fighting a bunch of people in Conor's corner.

Khabib's cousin, Abubakar Nurmagomedov -- an MMA  fighter who was also involved in the brawl -- received a 1-year suspension and a $25,000 fine.

It's also worth noting ... the committee issued a stern warning to fighters regarding pre-fight trash talk -- saying possible suspensions could be levied if the heated rhetoric continues.

Remember, Conor fired off several offensive barbs toward Khabib leading up to the UFC 229 fight ... saying Nurmagomedov was a "little rat", a "fanboy bitch" and a "backwards cunt."

Conor also went after Khabib's manager ... accusing him of being a terrorist who was pulled off a plane on Sept. 11, 2001 and detained by authorities.

It's obvious the committee wants to curb that kind of behavior in the future.

The boyfriend of Chateri Payne, the rookie Louisiana police officer killed the night of Jan. 9 outsider her home as she prepared to go to work, has been arrested in her murder. Police say Treveon Anderson, 26, Payne's live-in boyfriend and the father of her young daughter, called 911 and "concocted" a story about a mystery gunman shooting Payne as he was inside with their daughter, leading police to launch a manhunt, ABC Newsreports. Two alleged accomplices, Lawrence Pierre, 22, and Glenn Frierson, 38, were also arrested; all three men have been charged with second-degree murder. According to police records obtained by KSLA, Pierre is Anderson's cousin and he admitted to officers he was present at the time of the shooting and led them to the murder weapon.
