Omarion Calls Into Funkmaster Flex To Deny Sending Out Press Release Admitting He Is Bisexual "I Love Women & That's What It Is" [Audio]

Omarion has to be wondering why certain people seem hell bent on ruining his career.

The singer has been dogged by rumors regarding his sexuality recently. First former B2K member Raz-B and his brother Ricky Romance declared the "Ice Box" singer was homosexual. Then on Saturday (January 8) a press release was sent out announcing Omarion was bisexual.

Omarion says the press release was fake, but here is what it said:

“I pride myself in being an honest, God Fearing, respectful man. I have kept my personal life private and wanted to keep it that way. Unfortunately, other’s are interested in profiting from my anguish; so before they can do that, i will clarify things. I am not at all what certain ex-band members are trying to paint me as, I am however a
respectable, mature, proud, bisexual man.”

Omarion, who was in Japan at the time immediately denied being responsible for the press release, he tweeted his 350,000 twitter followers assuring them the press release was fake.

Soon afterwards, O's PR team sent out an official press release.

"The previously released statement regarding Omarion is false and was generated for negative publicity by an unknown person. Omarion will not contribute to anything negative said or done against him. Omarion respects all of his fans, no matter religion, sexuality, or race."

The rumors got so out of hand, Omarion became a trending topic on Twitter. Frustrated, he called into Hot 97 from Japan to speak with Funkmaster Flex and once and for all clear up the rumors.

"First and foremost let me say I did not release that statement. Whatever people like is their business, but I'm not gay or bisexual, I love women and that's just what it is." Omarion told Flex.

At this point nobody knows who sent out the fake press release, but check out the rest of what Omarion had to say about the situation to Funk Flex below.

The Cash Money rapper told Nnete of Houston's 97.9 The Box that he recently called up his former protege, Jermaine Dupri to share his concerns. "I was just talking to Jermaine [Dupri] yesterday. I called him and was like 'yo I know I never really called you and said anything like this before. I'm kind of scared, I'm nervous because I wanna get in the studio so bad. I'm know for putting out hit records and I don't wanna be away for too long to where I don't know what that feeling feels like again.'" It's both a gift and a curse for the 23 year old, but he says Birdman is very happy that he's opened the door for more Cash Money artists to get movie roles. Bow Wow reveals that he almost got Nicki Minaj a part in the movie. “To be honest Nicki was close to being “Nikki” in the movie…I was responsible for that. I said let’s get Nicki out here to audition and I called Nicki and she actually auditioned. I thought she did good but unfortunately you know how things don’t work out." Bow recently visited Lil Wayne is prison. He said Weezy told him to stay out of trouble because guys like them aren't built for jail. “It was a humbling experience and one thing he told me when I went to visit him was ‘Bow, This aint for us, this aint it.. This aint built for cats like us. They don’t understand us we don’t understand them.. don’t do it man, just stay out of trouble you and Drizzy yall stay clean yall stay doing what yall do yall can do this forever. all of this, it aint worth it . Action figure-turned-movie star G.I. Joe stormed his way to the top of the box office this week, crushing rivals on the first weekend in his big screen debut. "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" raked in $56.2 million in North America and $100.3 million worldwide. The globetrotting adventure starring Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller and Marlon Wayans enjoyed wide appeal in surprising places. "One of the best markets on the movie was Russia," said Rob Moore of Paramount Pictures. "How far G.I. Joe has come. He was incredibly popular in Russia." "Julie & Julia," featuring Meryl Streep as iconic female chef Julia Child, opened a solid No. 2 as an alternative for adult crowds with $20.1 million. "G-Force," the guinea pig animated action movie and former box-office winner, earned $9.8 million and third place at the box office, and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" dropped to No. 4 with $8.9 million. Last week's top movie, Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen's "Funny People," tumbled to No. 5 with $7.9 million, while the newest slasher thriller, "A Perfect Getaway," opened at No. 7 with $5.8 million. WTF? Boxer Rob Newbiggin to become 'Mercedes' after sex-change surgery,will continue to box as a woman

NYDailyNews Reports Boxer Rob Newbiggin will fight for the last time Aug. 14 - as a man, that is. The Southport, England, boxer will undergo a sex change operation, after which he will be a female known as Mercedes, The Southport Visiter reported. Newbiggin, born in Pennsylvania in 1964, had the anatomy of a male but high levels of the female hormone estrogen, which mean he could not be definitively classified as either sex. His parents abandoned him, and he was adopted at age 2 1/2 by Ted Newbiggin and his wife, who had immigrated to Canada from Manchester, England. Around age 12, Newbiggin picked up boxing, after his father encouraged him to act more masculine. “My dad said that I had to act like a man because people wouldn't accept me as anything else,” the younger Newbiggin told the Southport Visiter. “He was trying to protect me. I didn't find out I was adopted until I was 16, and then about how I was born, but then it all started making sense to me,” he said. Newbiggin's announcement was first printed in the daily tabloid The Sun, and he said afterward he had “lost every friend I have ever had in the world in this town.” “My friends don't want to know me. I’ve got people winding their windows down shouting abuse at me while I go for my run – that’s why we are having to relocate. I have to think about my kids,” the boxer said. As far as his kids are concerned, Newbiggin says sex will have no bearing on his ability to be a parent, and he might even do better as a woman. “When it comes to my kids, it doesn't matter whether I’m a mother or a father as long as I’m a good parent,” he said. “And I think I'll be a better parent as a woman. I haven't provided enough financial stability in my male life for my children.” He and his wife, Emma, who have been married for three years, are going to stay together, Newbiggin said, and added that she has been extremely supportive. “I am so lucky in that respect because she understands what I'm going through.” After becoming Mercedes, Newbiggin said, he hopes to have a future in modeling, painting and interior design. He also said he plans to apply for a boxing license as a female to continue his career. Newbiggin said he has been flooded with supportive correspondence from people whom his story has moved to come forward. “So our family’s sacrifice of our privacy is already working to help others, and that’s what this whole things is about.”
