NICKI (544)

Lil Kim and her new crew I.R.S. descended upon Brooklyn for the video shoot to her Nicki Minaj diss "Black Friday."

Director Picture Perfect said they would also possibly be shooting for "Clap Clap", a new joint by the Queen Bee.

It will be interesting to see if Nicki decides to engage in this battle. Her debut album 'Pink Friday' was just certified platinum, so she may feel like an all out beef with Kim could slow her momentum.

Fans are tired of subliminal disses though, like the darts Nicki threw at Kim in "Roman's Revenge."  We want to hear rappers name names.

Let's see who really is on top of the game for female rappers. We know Lil Kim is ready for beef anytime, anywhere... is Nicki?

It's a Cash Money and SODMG thing.

Bow Wow and Soulja Boy were out in Miami filming the music video for their song "Get Money."

The two had a little downtime between scenes so why not hit the streets and stunt a little bit?

That powder blue Lambo Soulja was rolling in is tough.

Official music video out soon.

Videos After The Jump

The dynamic duo of Eminem and Lil Wayne descended onto the Saturday Night Live stage yesterday for 3 high energy performances.

Backed by a live band, Weezy and Slim Shady tore through “No Love” and “Won’t Back Down" off Em’s ‘Recovery’ album. Then for the finale Wayne ripped through his latest single “6’7” off his upcoming ‘Tha Carter IV’ cd.

Overall, it was very entertaining. Would have been even better if Pink was there for the chorus on “Won’t Back Down” and Cory Gunz for his verse on “6’7”, but a great show nonetheless.

Young Money rapper Jae Millz links up with Chris Brown for a video off his ‘Dead Presidents’ mixtape.

Chris shows off his rapping skills in this one. He actually seems really comfortable spitting, it’s a good bet we’ll be seeing him rapping more in the future.

JumpOffTV invited Joe Budden to their discussion about who is signing to the Young Money roster next.

Low Key suggested that it could be Chris Brown.  Raqi Thunda thinks the camp is already big enough and they should give Tyga and Jae Millz some shine.

Joe Budden on the other hand seemed to suggest that everyone on the roster besides Drake and Nicki Minaj is overrated.

You can pick a bum off the street, make em say Young Money and he’s gonna be hot to all the f*cking sheep,” the Slaughterhouse MC said.

Low Key disagreed, saying that everyone Young Money has signed so far “has a bit of following.”

Buddens quickly shot back, “so Gudda Gudda has a following to you?” Before adding that he wished whoever the next signee is the best of luck.

Finally Joe was asked if he would sign to Young Money.

I would take anything into consideration, I’m not sure that I would do it. But I’d consider it maybe., depending on if the deal was outstanding,” Joe said.

Personally I think the camp is starting to get too big. After adding the super talented rapper Cory Gunz the focus should be on getting his project out as well as Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV', plus Tyga's and Drake's sophomore discs. The idea that Chris Brown would sign with them seems far fetched. He's building huge momentum on his own and already has a solid label home with Jive.

What are your thoughts on Young money's current roster and possible additions? And was Budden dissing Gudda Gudda in your opinion?

Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ disc maybe getting good reviews in some circles, but Debra Antney isn’t impressed.

Antney, who happens to be Waka Flocka’s mom and Nicki’s former manager, gave Vibe her review of Minaj’s debut cd, and it wasn’t at all flattering.

Is this a case of sour grapes? Perhaps, but Antney has repeatedly said in the past that her split from Nicki was amicable.

So lets check out Antney’s ‘Pink Friday’ review as told to Vibe’s Tracy Garraud.

"It's terrible. I like some stuff, but she went too left. I don't think people were ready for her to come [out with pop]. When I had Nicki, I really wanted her to sing. That's why I took her for training cause Nicki loves singing, but she kept saying to me, 'Deb, I can't do it yet because people won't understand.' And that's why the [rap] mixture was done to introduce them to all of Nicki. I think [Pink Friday] was very disappointing to a lot of her fans. She didn't need a lot of [the] features. That was one of the biggest things like... you gave people so many features, give them you now. Nicki could be so much better because—outside of anything that people say—she's very multi-talented. I really wish that she would learn to be more of an artist.

I didn't particularly care for ["Roman's Revenge"], but when Eminem came in I liked it. He made the song. [Nicki] didn't have to go there with [Lil' Kim]. My views on that is that she came too far to go back that route. And Kim does not even have to go there. There are no comparisons to them. Some things are best left unsaid. The whole things is stupid. I'm very disappointed that she would go that route. 'Cause I know all that she was taught. She don't have to go there with anybody. That was the stuff we always discussed. People had to learn to love Nicki— that's how the door opened up. It wasn't about Kim or Foxy or any of the rest of them. So I was just a little disappointed [by her album], but If she likes it, I love it."

Ouch... what do yall think of Deb's review?
