Cormega Speaks On Haiti Still Needing Help & How Much Work Sean Penn Is Doing For The Country [Video]

Queens legend, Cormega visited earthquake ravaged Haiti recently, and what he saw was a lot of people still in need of help. With all of the millions that have been generated through donations, Mega said the country looks as if it hasn't received a dime.

"They deserve honorable people helping them, instead of all this f*ckery that's going on." Cormega says in an interview with Mikey T The Movie Star.

Mega said that some people will be surprised at the work actor Sean Penn is putting in behind the scenes.

"I gained a lot of respect for certain people while I was out there, and I lost a lot of respect for some," Mega said. "The person that surprised me the most is Sean Penn. "Here you have an "A" list actor, he was out there while I was and he was in those tents helping those people."

Entertainers like Shakira, Wyclef Jean and George Clooney have also been huge contributors in helping Haiti get back on it's feet. While some in he media accuse certain celebrities of capitalizing on tragedies like the one in Haiti for personal gain, Cormega said Penn was he real deal.

"I've seen a story in the media where they said he was trying to do it for attention - that's a lie, he was out there when there was no media attention," Mega insists.

The biggest shock for Cormega and those who have visited the country recently is the lack of progress being made in rebuilding the country.

"I thought, and a lot of people in America thought Haiti was straight. Like all of the money that was generated. We thought 'oh they made such and such millions they're straight.' Bet when I went out there a lot of people were saying it's like the money never came ... and it shows."

For most though, Muhammad Ali has been considered the greatest and most well known boxer of all time. Manny Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz doesn't think that is the case anymore. At least not when it comes to popularity. He tells reporter Elie Seckbach that Pac Man is now the biggest name boxing has ever seen. "I think it's all the things we've been doing. 60 Minutes programs, you know - 24-7 again. It's put him into that category of a rock star," Koncz said "I think he's one of the most popular boxers ever, even more than Ali. You gotta remember Muhammad Ali, and he was my favorite boxer. He never became world wide famous until the draft issue, it wasn't because of his boxing. [Ali was convicted for refusing induction into the military]. And I think that's what's happening to Manny too. Like I said with 60 Minutes, the Dateline show that we did, the Jimmy Kimmel show that we did twice. We're taking him out of the boxing circle and putting him into the household." Koncz makes some interesting points, but Ali became worldwide famous without the internet, pay-per-view, Showtime and HBO. I think that's a really hard comparison to make. In other Pacquiao news, it's looking more and more likely that his next opponent will be either Sugar Shane Mosely or Andre Berto. Juan Manuel Marquez was also in the running, but promotor Bob Arum said his asking price was way too high. “Marquez's proposal was so out of line for anything that he got before… I don't think Manny is going to pay any attention to it,” Arum said in an interview with FanHouse.com On the possibility of Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Pacquiao, it doesn't look like that fight will happen until at least the end of 2011, if at all. Oscar De La Hoya of Floyd's promotion team Golden Boy is accusing Arum of ducking his fighter. Arum is calling bullsh*t on that accusation. "That's totally nonsense because you can argue over the first situation, the first go around. They had one position, we had another. But on the second go around we gave in to every one of their positions. We were so anxious to make the fight and Mayweather didn't want to fight," Arum said "And even today we will do the fight unconditionally, unconditionally! And all Mayweather has to do is say ('yes') he wants the fight." So our poll for today is, who is the greatest fighter of all time? A European film maker by the name of George Clark, claims to have found evidence of a real life time traveler in a 1928 film featuring Charlie Chaplin. "This short film is about a piece of footage I (George Clarke) found behind the scenes in Charlie Chaplins film 'The Circus'. Attending the premiere at Manns Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA - the scene shows a large woman dressed in black with a hat hiding most of her face, with what can only be described as a mobile phone device - talking as she walks alone. I have studied this film for over a year now - showing it to over 100 people and at a film festival, yet no-one can give any explanation as to what she is doing. It's been a year since Kanye West snatched the mic from country singer Taylor Swift's hands during her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video award at the 2009 VMA's and announced, "I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time," Apparently Yeezy is still dealing with a lot of regret, or maybe even anger over the incident. Although he reportedly apologized to Swift, and she accepted, Ye is using his Twitter account to vent about how he was ostracised after the debacle. Kanye is going off this morning (September 4) about the media mistreating him, and the perception that he is racist. "Man I love Twitter... I've always been at the mercy of the press but no more... The media tried to demonize me They wanted yall to believe I was a monster in real life so you guys wouldn't listen or buy my music anymore I feel like they were waiting for the opportunity to go in all the way on me and when it came they beat me to a pulp Even now a lot of articles start there first 2 paragraphs about how much of an a**hole I am I accept the idea (ideal) that perception is reality When I say perception is reality I mean whatever you think is the truth... is your truth Some people's truth is Kanye is racist... It's not my truth but I do believe it's my Karma.... walk with me."

Kanye's last tweet is referring to him famously announcing that, "George Bush doesn't care about black people" during a live telethon for Hurricane Katrina relief on NBC in 2005. Many may have agreed with those comment regarding George Bush, if not the platform used to convey them. But the Taylor Swift incident left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. Kanye had a lot more to say about that. "How deep is the scar... I bled hard.. cancelled tour with the number one pop star in the world ... closed the doors of my clothing office Had to let employees go... for the first time I felt the impact of my brash actions ... WTF? Fidel Castro Claims Osama Bin Laden Is A U.S. Spy Used By George Bush To "Stir Up Fear"

Fidel Castro has said Osama bin Laden is in the pay of the CIA and was summoned up whenever George W Bush needed to scare the world "Any time Bush would stir up fear and make a big speech, bin Laden would appear threatening people with a story about what he was going to do," Mr Castro said. "Bush never lacked for bin Laden's support. He was a subordinate." Mr Castro made his remarks during a meeting with Lithuanian-born writer Daniel Estulin known for advancing conspiracy theories about world domination. He said documents posted on WikiLeaks.org, the website that released thousands of classified US documents about the war in Afghanistan, "effectively proved he was a CIA agent". However, the former Cuban president - who himself became America's enemy no.1 and survived multiple assassination attempts by the CIA - did not further elaborate.

During the meeting, Mr Estulin told Mr Castro that the real voice of bin Laden was last heard in late 2001, not long after the September 11 attacks. He said the person heard making warnings about terror attacks after that was a "bad actor". Mr Castro did take exception with one of Mr Estulin's major theses - that the human race must move to another habitable planet or face extinction. The 84-year-old revolutionary said it would be better to fix things on Earth then abandon the planet altogether. "Humanity ought to take care of itself if it wants to live thousands more years," Mr Castro told the writer. Mr Castro stepped down due to ill health in 2006 - first temporarily, then permanently - and handed power over to his younger brother Raul. He has remained head of the Cuban Communist party but stayed out of view for four years after falling sick before returning to the spotlight in July. His comments about the al Qeada leader are the latest in a series of provocative statements. Recently he warned that the planet is on the brink of nuclear war. Vendetta: 2 Sons Attack Their Mother's Killer In Courtroom [Video]

Video After The Jump BENNETTSVILLE — A brawl erupted in a Marlboro County courtroom Tuesday when the family members of a slain woman attacked a man charged in her death, according to court officials. George Anthony Cousins, 46, is charged with murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend, 42-year-old Tammy Locklear Norris, and appeared in court Tuesday morning for a bond hearing on the charges, 4th Circuit Solicitor Will Rogers said. Just before the hearing started, two of Norris’ children lunged for Cousins. Cousins was apparently punched in the eye during the brief scuffle, but no serious injuries were reported and the fight was broken up quickly by deputies, Rogers said. Joshua Norris, 20, Laurinburg, N.C., and Nathaniel Dale Norris, 21, are charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and contempt of court. Deander Locklear, 37, is charged breach of peace after authorities said he caused a disturbance outside the Marlboro County Courthouse on Tuesday, Rogers said. Joshua and Nathaniel Norris will have to appear before 3rd Circuit Court Judge Howard King, who presided over Cousins’ bond hearing, later because it was he who held them in contempt of court. King later denied bond for Cousins’ release. Cousins was arrested when deputies responded to the shooting in Tatum at 5 a.m. on July 17 when the suspect called 911.
