Philly rapper Ar-Ab recently made a video discussing the Cassidy Vs. Meek Mill beef. At the time he said Cass wasn't a street dude, while Meek was. He also accused Cass of not helping him out financially when he was down with Larsiny Family.
Ar sat down with VladTV to clarify some of the things he said in the video.
The OBH Records artist said that both Cass and Meek are his friends and he introduced them to each other several years ago in an attempt to help out both of their careers. At the time Meek's buzz was heavy in Philly, but he wasn't signed yet and according to Ar, Philly wasn't really feeling Cass at the time.
Ar says the tension between the two started to build after Meek got signed to MMG. Cass felt like he helped Meek out by featuring him on some of his songs early in his career and wanted Meek to return the favor. Meek didn't feel like Cass had helped him and declined.
When asked who he thought was winning the current battle between the two rappers, Ar picked Meek.
"In my opinion, I like Meek's song [Repo] better," Ar told Vlad. "Cass' song [R.A.I.D.] was hot. But it's the beat that Meek used. That sh*t was crazy and he was saying some hood sh*t and I love that hood, gangster sh*t he was talking. Cass sh*t was more lyrics. That's cool and all but I relate to the gangster sh*t a little better."

Azealia Banks' career is just starting to take off, but unlike a lot of other artists in her position she is already looking at an exit plan.
The 21-year old Harlem rapper recently sat down with Hypetrak TV to talk about what she has planned for the future.
"I would eventually like to stop rapping," Azealia said. "That's just the honest truth. Like one day I don't wanna rap anymore just because it's easy you know what I mean, but it's kind of tacky and I think it's very unladylike. I like it, but I think I'm going to get tired of it. I would like to get two albums out. Like get all of the urban stuff like rap music out. Whatever ideas I have in me out and into fruition the maybe go back to school. Take voice lessons again and do like contemporary jazz. I definitely don't see myself being a rapper forever."
