Hip Hop’s golden era constituent, Queens’ native, the godfather of Mafioso rap, legendary and influential emcee, Kool G Rap, broke out in the late 80s and early 90s as one half of the duo with DJ Polo. Together, Kool G Rap and DJ Polo released three undisputed classic albums; beginning with their debut album, Road To The Riches (1989), Wanted: Dead or Alive (1990) and Live and Let Die (1992).
Simultaneously, G Rap and DJ Polo gained notoriety as members of the Juice Crew, whose noteworthy membership includes DJ Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane, Masta Ace and Roxanne Shante At the height of hip-hop’s golden age, The Juice Crew was the definition of innovative and not only influenced the culture as a whole (style, lyricism, creativity), but also impressed the importance of style, substance and technique upon the next wave of ambassadors (Nas, Jay-Z, Big Pun, Ice Cube, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G. etc).
After a successful run with DJ Polo and the Juice Crew, G Rap embarked on a solo-career, with his solo debut, 4, 5, 6, appearing in 1995, which was preceded by Roots of Evil (1998) and The Giancana Story (2002) which featured AZ, Nas, Joell Ortiz, Mobb Deep, and CNN. Six years later, G Rap released Half a Klip (2008), which included production from DJ Premier and DJ Marley Marl.
Tomorrow, (6-2-17) after premieres with Rolling Stone and XXL, Kool G Rap will release his new solo album, Return Of The Don, which is entirely produced by MoSS and features a veritable who’s who list of new and familiar spitters; Freeway, Noreaga, Sean Price, Cormega, Raekwon, Sheek Louch, Saigon, Termanology, Fame, KXNG Crooked, Conway The Machine & Westside Gunn (the newest signees to Eminem’s Shady Records) and the late Sean Price.
In advance of releasing his new album tonight at midnight, the trendsetting emcee has given fans a sneak peek of Return of The Don, via an exclusive album stream premiere with Ambrosiaforheads.com.

(Bleacher Report) Police in Jupiter, Florida, officially released dashcam video Wednesday of the field sobriety test they conducted with Tiger Woods before charging him with a DUI on Memorial Day.
Golf.com's Twitter feed provided the video, which shows Woods being cooperative with the arresting officer:
The full video on Golf.com shows Woods admitting to the officer that he did not know where he was when he stopped. He also had to be reminded why he was being pulled over after police found him stopped in the road.
Footage then shifts to Woods struggling to walk in a straight line when asked to do the heel-to-toe sobriety test. An officer can be heard in the background grading Woods' steps, noting he stepped off the line and missed his heel-to-toe attempts multiple times. He also failed to count out the requested nine steps before also failing on a second attempt.
A police report released Tuesday said Woods' Mercedes had two flat tires and damage to the rear and front bumpers. He did not have any alcohol in his system when tested twice by police. In a statement released to media outlets, Woods blamed prescription medications for the incident.
“I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions," Woods said in a statement. "I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly."
Woods, 41, underwent a fourth surgery on his back in April.

Mass Appeal asked Nas to pen an open letter, and boy, did he have a lot to get off of his chest. The 43-year old hip hop icon opened up about racism in America, politics, Donald Trump and more.
Check out an excerpt from it below:
"The only way the black man gets a little piece in America is if he takes the O.J. stance: “I’m not black, I’m O.J.” When you ignore the shit that’s happening to people you can live in this fantasy, this American fantasy that you belong to… who? You ignore what’s happening, and that gives you peace. Because what’s going on is enough to make people insane.
Some guy lynched in a tree at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia, and the cops rule it a suicide. Now, don’t get me wrong—suicides happen. There are blacks suffering from mental illness just like whites suffering from mental illness, except that whites who suffer from mental illness and have interactions with the cops, they end up living. Blacks, we get killed. So if you want to sit back and ignore all that, go the O.J. route. Just remember, even he got dealt with at the end of the day.
So where do I stand? I stand just as a man, doing what I have to do. Doing what I was born to do. No one can tell me who I am. No one can tell me where I can go and cannot go.
The Creator put us here to do our thing, so I do my thing. And I don’t pay attention to politics at the moment. For what? There’s no reason. For me, it doesn’t make any sense. We all know a racist is in office. People can talk their shit. Comedians can sound racist. People can go through their moments of that shit, but when you have the responsibility of being President and you carry on like that, you send a strong message to people outside of your group that they ain’t worth shit.
So why would I focus on that unless I’m in the political game? Unless I’m running for office I don’t have to pay attention to know that. If I ever vote again—when it’s time to vote again, and I feel like voting again—I don’t have to follow the news to know who I’m voting against. But then you wind up saying “Who’s the next motherfucker coming in, and how does that help?"
