Audio After The Jump Brittany Murphy's mom and husband desperately tried to revive the actress the morning she died, according to a 911 call released Friday (January 8) to The Associated Press. "My daughter's passed out," Sharon Murphy tells the 911 operator, who proceeds to relay CPR instructions to the distraught mom. Brittany Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, can be heard in the background trying to revive the actress and following Sharon's instructions via the dispatcher. During the eight-minute call, Sharon is heard wailing and screaming, "Brittany, please come back!" She told the operator that Murphy had been ill earlier and had vomited. An initial autopsy was performed on Murphy in Los Angeles on December 21, the day after she was found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home and later pronounced dead at the hospital. In an e-mail to MTV News, representatives for the Los Angeles County Coroner's office disclosed the initial results. "The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner conducted an autopsy on the body of Brittany Anne Murphy-Monjack, age 32, on December 21, 2009," the statement reads. "The cause of death has been DEFERRED pending the receipt of additional toxicological tests and tissue studies that have been ordered by the deputy medical examiner. "There will be no final ruling as to the cause and manner of death until all of the requested test results have been received and reviewed in context with the autopsy findings. It is anticipated that this process may take approximately 4 to 6 weeks or more. Anatomical findings show no evidence of trauma to the body." As initial reports suggested, foul play is not suspected in her death. Murphy's family laid the actress to rest Christmas Eve. Source: MTV Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

America's sweetheart Amanda Bynes wants to show the world she's all grown up and ready to take on more adult oriented movie roles. I would say doing a Maxim cover and photo shoot is a good way to get that started. If you're wondering where you have seen the 23 year old actress before. She starred on the Nickelodeon show 'All That' before moving on to teen flicks 'She's The Man' and 'Hairspray' Amanda says of her Maxim spread 'I want to show people who I am. My parents were like, “Does this mean you’re gonna do sexy movies now?” I said, “Well, if they’re done the right way, then maybe!” I mean, I’m not gonna do porn, but if it’s a Leonardo DiCaprio movie or whatever. It's time for me to start making my own decisions' We applaud you Amanda, do your thing. The February 2010 Maxin hits stands January 19.

(AllHipHop News) An unusual surge in views on YouTube worked to rapper Twista’s gain. A video featuring the rapper and rhyme collective Do or Die generated close to 80 billion views on the site yesterday according to the statistics. The four-minute clip for the song “Do You” was posted by YouTube LadyMC311. According to reports, the video’s 79,441,058,538 views were the result of someone hacking into LadyMC311’s YouTube account. As a result, “Do You” was briefly YouTube’s most viewed video of all time, eclipsing “Charlie Bit My Finger,” (147,246,806 views) and a performance from Britain’s Got Talent alum Susan Boyle’s (84,765,146 views). Although questions have been raised regarding the validity of the “Do You” views, Twista sees the situation as a testament to the power of his fans. “Yea I know it's wrong, and don’t have any idea who that could of been that did the hack,” the rapper told AllHipHop.com, adding that he has never heard of LadyMC311. “I don’t have any idea why they picked my video, but that definitely goes to show you that Twista got those true fans, and I definitely wanna say thanks to the No. 1 blessing.” The YouTube hacking comes as Twista pursues a pair of non-music related ventures that will broaden his presence among the public as well as utilize his fame towards worthwhile causes. “Right now I am producing my first reality show deal,” said the rapper, who couldn’t reveal specifics on the deal because “it's under wraps.” “I just started my own non for profit company helping homeless kids get off the streets and help kids with autism get financial assistance,” the Chicago native stated. The YouTube hack may be a good thing for Twista, but the talk surrounding the number of views being inflated for "Do You" is valid, as the numbers were false. Upon checking this morning (January 8), the “Do You” video had 73,317 views since the clip was first posted on YouTube on September 6, 2006. Despite the rumors, Twista has taken everything in stride as he jokingly put in a personal request to the person responsible for the “Do You” views. “If you happen to do it again,” the rapper said, “make sure you hook me up a million members on twista.com or my Twitter page.AllHipHop Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton has pleaded not guilty to a drug charge in a court in Florida. Banton was arrested in December on a charge of conspiring to buy more than five kilograms of cocaine from an undercover law enforcement officer. The 36-year-old singer - real name Mark Myrie - did not seek bail as, if released, he would be held by US immigration officials. It is likely Grammy-nominated Myrie will miss the event on 31 January. The dancehall singer has been nominated at the Grammys for his latest album, Rasta Got Soul. Banton was arrested at his home in Tamarac, Florida in early December. Authorities say he met with a confidential informant to discuss the drug purchase. His lawyer, David Oscar Markus said Banton is innocent and was set up by "some evil people trying to take advantage of his trusting and honest character". He is best known for the track Bogle and the controversial single Boom Bye Bye. In 2004, he was banned from performing at a gig in Manchester after protests about his allegedly homophobic lyrics, which are often used in the genre of dancehall music. Drake isn't a singer-and he's the first to admit it. When he released his highly touted 2009 mixtape "So Far Gone," which finds the Toronto-raised artist singing and rapping, he thought he made a huge mistake. "People were like, 'What is this? There's way too much singing on here,' " he says. "We were really nervous about it and for like a week I was having a serious breakdown." But a month later, Drake, born Aubrey Graham, realized there was a method to the madness. "Within like four weeks I noticed I had a brand-new sound that takes a while to digest and understand. Things started to pick up and I started to learn the value of taking risks," he says. Now, the venture is paying off. Last month when the Grammy nominations were announced, Drake learned he was up for best rap solo performance and best rap song for "Best I Ever Had" off "So Far Gone." "I can't say this is unexpected, because, I mean, it's something that's kept me up many nights," the 23-year-old says. "I dreamed about this for a lot of years and have lost lots of sleep over it. This is like the highest honor and I am humbled by this. It's one of the few awards that isn't a popularity contest; you have to make great music to be honored, and this is completely surreal to me." It's an honor, however, that has an unintended side effect. With the two nominations that stemmed from his mixtape, that puts Drake out of the running for best new artist in 2010, when his debut album is released. Lady Gaga experienced a similar technicality in 2009, as she was ineligible for best new artist since her track "Just Dance" was nominated for best dance recording the previous year. The best new artist rules say the nominated performer is eligible for "the first recording which establishes public identity," and a prior nomination indicates that this threshold has already been reached. But that may be just a tiny regret for Drake, who is set up to receive tremendous exposure for his forthcoming set. Drake, who got signed to Universal Motown through mentor Lil Wayne's Young Money label shortly after the release of "So Far Gone," is prepping "Thank Me Later," slated for a February release. "The best part about 'So Far Gone' was that I didn't focus on structure. The only thing that was consistent was the story and the emotion. That's what I want to do with this album," Drake says. "I make music for people to get lost in it, so, as long as it takes you somewhere, then I've succeeded." So far, the album features Kanye West, Wayne, Young Jeezy and Jay-Z, and a collaboration with Sade is on Drake's wish list. "Something happened last night too that might be great-it might serve as the legendary sprinkle for the album," Drake says about another potential partnership on the set. "Shut It Down" and "Fireworks" are two tracks slated to make the album's final cut. "In 2010 I'm really hoping I can stay true to this new way of life I've committed myself to," he says. "I have a special plan to keep the free flow of music going after the album is released. This is definitely a unique path I'm setting out on, and honestly, it's great. I'm honored to be in this position." Source: Billboard Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

PASADENA, Calif. -- First, the Alabama defense knocked Colt McCoy out of the game. Later, it saved a national championship. Hanging onto a precarious three-point lead and with momentum on the other side, linebacker Eryk Anders was determined not to let the Citi BCS National Championship Game slip away. Anders forced a fumble on his blindside sack of Texas backup quarterback Garrett Gilbert with 3:02 left Thursday night to help the top-ranked Crimson Tide hold on for a 37-21 victory -- a win that figured to be much easier when McCoy went out with a shoulder injury early in the first quarter. "We said, 'It's on us, the defensive line,'" Alabama's 350-pound All-American Terrence Cody said. "We had to make plays to finish it off. There was no doubt in our huddle. We knew what we can do." They did, and brought back glory to one of the country's most storied programs, the football factory that Bear Bryant built. This one came courtesy of Nick Saban, who resurrected this team in the short span of three seasons. "We back," said Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, the offensive MVP. Back for the first time since 1992, when Bryant's protege, Gene Stallings, led the Crimson Tide to its last national title. This one gives Alabama eight since the polls began in the 1930s. Its seventh Associated Press championship should be a shoo-in when the votes are tabulated. Ingram finished with 116 yards rushing and two touchdowns, and Trent Richardson had 109 yards and two scores as Alabama beat Texas for the first time in nine meetings between two of college football's most successful teams. Anders will go down with them in Crimson Tide lore, as will Marcell Dareus, who knocked McCoy -- the winningest quarterback in college football history -- down and out with an injury to his throwing shoulder on Texas' fifth offensive play. "I just heard a thump when I hit him," Dareus said. "I did lay it down pretty hard. I didn't try to, but it felt great." A bit later, Dareus picked off Gilbert's shovel pass and returned it 28 yards for a TD and a 24-6 lead late in the second quarter. But it wasn't quite over. "It was like we'd won the game at halftime," Saban said. "But you can't accept being average. You're playing a team in the national championship game that knows how to win." The second half turned out to be anything but a laugher with Gilbert in the game -- a highly recruited freshman who was Texas' "quarterback of the future" but had thrown only 26 college passes coming into this game. He threw two touchdown passes to All-American Jordan Shipley to trim the deficit to 24-21 with 6:15 left, and after an Alabama punt, he had the ball at the 7-yard line, 93 yards away from one of the most improbable comeback stories in the history of the game. But after an Alabama holding penalty moved the ball to the 17, Gilbert dropped back to pass and got rocked by Anders, a senior who plays in the shadow of Cody and fellow All-American Rolando McClain. The ball went flying and Courtney Upshaw recovered. Three plays later, Ingram surged into the end zone from the 1 for a 10-point lead. A few minutes later, after Gilbert's third interception of the night, Richardson scored his second touchdown to make it 37-21. Dareus finished with one tackle, one interception and one touchdown, but all were game-changers. Seeking its second national title in five years, Texas (13-1) got to the game on the back of McCoy, its All-American quarterback, who often looked like a one-man show in leading the Longhorns to 13 straight wins. After the injury, McCoy was asking to go back in to finish his last college game. His dad, interviewed on ABC, said the injury wasn't that bad. But Texas coach Mack Brown decided to err on the side of caution, and McCoy spent the second half wearing a headset on the sideline, trying to encourage his teammates. "I would have given anything to be out there because it would have been different," he said. The Longhorns defense, ranked third in the country in yards allowed, kept things close while Gilbert got his feet underneath him. And boy did he. He led the Longhorns on a five-play, 59-yard drive to make it 24-13, then 60 yards for the second score, and suddenly, the Tide was falling apart, not rolling. The 2-point conversion made it 24-21. "It's a hard learning curve but he learned fast," Brown said. "At one point, I thought he was going to win the ballgame." The Tide, however, hung on and Saban became the first coach since the polls began in 1936 to win national titles with two schools. He won the 2003 BCS championship with LSU. The program was grounded, of course, in the hardscrabble work-ethic brought to Tuscaloosa in the 1960s by The Bear, who roamed the sideline in his houndstooth hat and painted the quintessential portrait of a football coach in those days. His legacy still permeates almost everything at Alabama and it was Saban, who took over a program decimated by scandals, bad decisions and NCAA troubles over the past decade, who convinced the Tide faithful they had to let go of the past if they were ever going to enjoy the present. It took him just three short years, and now 'Bama is back. "I think there's a lot of people who are responsible for that," Saban said. "Our administration made a commitment to rebuild Alabama, to do something everyone could be proud of." ESPN Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

A promoter in Arizona has been indicted on federal charges that he bilked investors out of over $25 million dollars, by promoting phony concerts. Dezert Heat Entertainment is accused of acting like a promoter of concerts featuring artists like 50 Cent and G-Unit, Mariah Carey, Shakira, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and others. According to the federal complaint, Miko Dion Wady scammed 140 investors out of the $25 million using a sophisticated Ponzi scheme. Investors claim that they would be repaid with substantial interest from ticket revenues, but they were never compensated and the investments were never used to promote concerts. The investors 37-count indictment claims that they were victims of an elaborate a scheme headed by Wade, who simply repaid them with money from earlier investors, until the scheme collapsed. Wade would produce fake insurance receipts, bogus contracts and copies of fraudulent certified checks that were supposedly issued to book various talent and entertainers. Federal officials claim that Wade only promoted 10 concerts between 2004 and 2009. The indictment claims Wade used at least $3 million of the investors money to finance a lavish lifestyle that included a fleet of luxury cars, a boat, jet skis jewelry, and multiple homes. Federal authorities also charged Wade with money laundering and wire fraud. Source: AllHipHop Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Floyd Mayweather Jr insists he is "thoroughly disgusted" by claims he is to blame for the collapse of a lucrative super-fight against Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum announced on Wednesday night a fight between his fighter and Mayweather was dead in the water after negotiations broke down over an ongoing row over drug testing. But Mayweather said: "Throughout this whole process I have remained patient, but at this point I am thoroughly disgusted that Pacquiao and his representatives are trying to blame me for the fight not happening when clearly the blame is on them." Filipino fighter Pacquiao issued legal proceedings last week following Mayweather's insistence on ultra-stringent doping testing - namely the taking of blood samples close to the fight - for their proposed March 13 showdown in Las Vegas, claiming such actions were defamatory.

With the fight therefore in jeopardy, a mediator was brought in to attempt to solve the dispute this week. Arum claimed Mayweather and his team were unwilling to negotiate and the fight was off. Mayweather, however, insists he has been - and remains - more than willing to compromise. "First and foremost, not only do I want to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to whip his punk ass," he added. "Before the mediation, my team proposed a 14-day, no blood testing window leading up to the fight. But it was rejected. I am still proposing the 14-day window but he is still unwilling to agree to it, even though this is obviously a fair compromise on my part as I wanted the testing to be up until the fight and he wanted a 30-day cut-off." Mayweather added: "I am ready to fight and sign the contract. Manny needs to stop making his excuses, step up and fight." Press Association Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Video After The Jump A Playboy model whose badly burned body was found Sunday in a Miami dumpster expressed fear of her current boyfriend — even text messaging a former boyfriend, "he's trying to kill me," her stepfather told FoxNews.com. Paula Sladewski's stepfather Richard Watkins, who lives in Michigan with Sladewski's mother, told FoxNews.com that he wasn't surprised when he found out that Sladewski's boyfriend, Kevin Klym, 34, was named a person of interest. "They had a horrible relationship," said Watkins. "I have told them from the start that they shouldn’t be together." Watkins said the couple, who had been together for two years, argued often. He said a month ago, Klym broke Sladewski's nose during an argument and was arrested. Watkins, who has been talking on the phone to Sladewski's ex-boyfriend in California since she disappeared, told FoxNews.com that Sladewski, 26, would text message her ex-boyfriend that she was afraid of Klym. "She would text him 'help me, I’m in trouble, he’s trying to kill me'," Watkins told FoxNews.com. Watkins said he last saw Sladewski when she visited her family in Michigan just after Christmas. He said she seemed happy and like her usual self. Paula Sladewski — who appeared in the video "Playboy: The Ultimate Playmate Search" — was so severely burned that officials had to use dental records to identify her.

"We were praying that it wasn't her,'' said Watkins, according to the Miami Herald. "It's been real hard. I didn't know this many tears could fall." The L.A.-based model had been visiting Florida during a holiday with Klym, who reported her missing. The couple splits time between Michigan and Rancho Cucamonga, California, The Miami Herald reported. Watkins told FoxNews.com that Sladewski had told him they were going to Las Vegas on vacation, so he was surprised to learn they had instead gone to Miami. On New Year’s Eve Sladewski went to a Lady Gaga concert in Miami and spent the weekend visiting nightclubs and bars, SkyNews.com reported. Klym told police that he and Sladewski got into an argument at a nightclub and he was kicked out of the club in the early hours of Sunday morning. That was the last time, Klym told police, that he saw Sladewski. After he was booted from the club, he said he took a taxi back to their Miami Beach hotel, the Miami Herald reported. The model's charred remains were discovered on Sunday night after a passer-by alerted the authorities to a trash bin on fire in a Miami street. "Her body was burned so bad that there wasn't even enough to send her home," said Watkins, according to MyFoxDetroit.com. "It's heartbreaking." Klym has been cooperating with police, said Lt. Neal Cuevas, a North Miami police spokesman, according to the Miami Herald. "[Klym's] considered a person of interest as would anyone who last saw her alive,'' said Cuevas, the paper reported. Watkins' wife, Patsy, received the telephone call from a concerned Klym on Monday saying that her daughter was missing. Monday happened to be Patsy's birthday, which Watkins said was "a birthday that she will never forget." He said his wife "can’t cope with this." He told FoxNews.com that he can't understand why Klym would leave her at the nightclub alone. "He left her alone in a bar full of predators and I blame him for doing that. How could he do that? How could he just leave her alone? I can’t wrap my mind around why he would do that." Patsy Watkins asked Klym those very questions on the phone Monday, and Richard Watkins said Klym told her he didn't know why he left her. Klym has denied any involvement in Sladewski's disappearance. His lawyer, Marc Beginin, said Klym is "devastated and traumatized. He has no involvement whatsoever," said Beginin, the paper reported. Sladewski's older sister flew down to Miami to assist in the investigation. Watkins said she will fly back to Michigan with her sister's remains this week. The Miami North Police Department asks anyone with information to contact them at 305-471-8477. Source: FoxNews.com Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

An Ohio man found himself grounded when his anti-Semitic vitriol got him yanked from a plane. "I want to kill all the Jews," Mansor Mohammad Asad proclaimed as cops removed him from a Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines flight out of Miami-Dade International airport, cops said. The 43-year-old Toledo resident's ranting reportedly forced the taxiing flight to return to the gate, where he was arrested. Asad was chanting in a foreign language and claiming to be Palestinian, witnesses reportedly told investigators who boarded the plane. When approached by cops, Asad spewed threats at the officers, the Associated Press reported, citing a police affidavit. "I'm not afraid of you cops, I've gotten in fights with cops in Ohio and broke their arms in three places," Asad said, according to the affidavit. "I've broken skulls too!" He was brought down with a stun gun after charging an officer. Cops found no weapons explosives after searching Asad. The police affidavit says the outburst did not appear to be prompted by alcohol, the Associated Press reported. Asad was taken to Miami-Dade County jail following his arrest. He was charged with making threats against a public servant, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer, the Associated Press reported, citing a statement from Miami-Dade Police. Three of his traveling companions were also removed from the flight and interrogated, according to the Transportation Security Administration. The FBI, which was involved in the initial investigation, said through a spokeswoman his outburst does not appear to be a terrorism-related matter. Following Asad's removal, the plane was searched and allowed to take off. Source: NY Daily News Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Audio After The Jump Why does Danger remind me of Tila Tequila? Could it be the constant drama in her life? Or obvious attempts to grab headlines with bizarre behavior? Hmm, maybe it's not an act and she's really this nutty! Whatever the case, she called up DJ Whoo Kid recently and got a few things off her chest. She claims to have inside dirt on a lot people in Hollywood and plans on cashing in. Besides bashing Nick Cannon's family and revealing she's dating Tyrin Turner from the movie 'Menace To Society', Danger talked about being molested for most of her life, her recent stay at a mental institution (she blames it on martial law). And made a not so veiled threat to Ray-J. Saying he better cut her a fat check or else! I'm hoping her 15 minutes of fame is just about up. Her act has become old and tired.
