Audio After The Jump

Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Jay Z and producer/engineer Mike Dean are facing a hefty lawsuit filed by a Brooklyn, New York musician who alleges they infringed upon his copyrighted material.

Joel McDonald filed paperwork in Manhattan Supreme Court last month, alleging Jay and West's 2011 song "Made in America" featuring Ocean was originally published by him on iTunes in 2009.

Dr. Rick Sacra

Video After The Jump

OMAHA, Neb. (Associated Press) — A doctor who became infected with Ebola while working in Liberia — the third American aid worker sickened with the virus — arrived Friday at a Nebraska hospital for treatment.

Officials at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha have said Dr. Rick Sacra, 51, will be treated at the hospital's 10-bed special isolation unit on the seventh floor, the largest of four such units in the U.S.

12351070258?profile=original

Sacra, from the Boston area, headed to Liberia after hearing that two other missionaries were sick. He served with the North Carolina-based charity SIM. Sacra delivered babies but was not involved in the treatment of Ebola patients, so it's unclear how he became infected with the virus that has killed about 1,900 people.

Local media reported shortly after 6 a.m. that a plane carrying Sacra landed at Offutt Air Force Base, south of the Omaha suburb of Bellevue. He arrived at the hospital in an ambulance about 40 minutes later, but media were unable to see Sacra as he was hustled into the facility.

Dr. Phil Smith, medical director of the Omaha unit, said a team of 35 doctors, nurses and other medical staffers will provide Sacra with basic care, including ensuring he is hydrated and keeping his vital signs stable.

The team is discussing experimental treatments, including using blood serum from a patient who has recovered from Ebola, Smith said.

"We've been trying to collect as much information on possible treatments as we can," Smith said.

There are no licensed drugs or vaccines for the disease, but about half a dozen are in development. None has been tested on humans, but an early trial of one vaccine began this week in the United States.

Much attention has focused on the unproven drug ZMapp, which was given to seven patients, two of whom died. But the limited supply is now exhausted and its developer says it will take months to make even a modest amount.

The first two American aid workers infected by Ebola — Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol — have recovered since being flown to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for treatment.

Smith and several other doctors with the unit repeatedly said Sacra's transfer to Omaha posed no threat to the public, noting Ebola is transmitted through close contact with an infected person.

He said Sacra was in stable condition in Liberia and was able to board the plane to the U.S. under his own power.

SIM's president, Bruce Johnson, said Sacra had received excellent care in Liberia, but that the Nebraska facility has advanced monitoring equipment and can provide more treatment options.

Sacra's wife, Debbie, said at a news conference at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester that her husband was in good spirits as he boarded the plane Thursday. She said the couple had known there was a risk of Ebola infection when he left for Liberia in August.

"I knew he needed to be with the Liberian people," she said. "He was so concerned about the children that were going to die from malaria without hospitalization and the women who had no place to go to deliver their babies by cesarean section. He's not someone who can stand back if there's a need he can take care of."

Chris Brown's immense talent has never been in question, but his penchant for finding trouble away from the stage has left many wondering if he will ever reach his true potential.

He recently served 108 days in jail for violating his probation after being booted from a court-ordered anger management facility. It may have been the wake up call Breezy needed.

While in anger management he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which explains, but not excuses some of his erratic behavior. He's now taking medication for it.

12351071472?profile=original

He covers the latest edition of Billboard magazine and admits that at times he's been his own worst enemy.

"I realize that what I do for a living opens my life to public scrutiny and that I have a responsibility to everyone because of that exposure," Brown tells Billboard. "I can say that I am only human and I have made mistakes. I can say that I try to live my life in the most true, honest way that I can. I am not perfect, no one is. No one is harder on me than me. No one can please everyone. No one can live in the past and expect to grow. I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life."

Video After The Jump

Shantel Jackson has filed a lawsuit against former fiance Floyd Mayweather Jr, alleging he abused her during their relationship.

With her attorney Gloria Allred by her side, Shantel held a news conference Thursday, September 4, and read a prepared statement.

"I loved Floyd deeply, but he continued to disappoint and intentionally hurt me," Shantel said. "I have been embarrassed and humiliated more than I could ever imagine by Floyd, who I once called my best friend and fiance. I have tried everything I could. I have given Floyd every opportunity to do the right thing.  Unfortunately, he has refused every opportunity to make things right. It is with a heavy heart that I finally realized that the only way to set the record straight, and to achieve justice for what he has done to me is through filing of this lawsuit."

12351068670?profile=original

Shantel is suing the boxing champion for harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, battery, defamation, invasion of privacy and assault.

TMZ reports that Floyd allegedly got violent with Shantel on three occasions.

In 2012 he "twisted [her] arm, choked her and forcibly took her phone away from her to look through it," after being released from jail for domestic violence against his baby's mother.

In 2013 he "bent her arm, restrained her, and pointed a gun at her foot, asking 'Which toe do you want me to shoot?'"

After that attack he pointed a gun at her and demanded she give back a 17-carat engagement ring.

In February 2014, Shantel alleges Floyd held her against her will for an hour at his Los Angeles condo at the Ritz.

12351068857?profile=original

In May 2014 PBF melted down when he released Shantel's ultrasound photo, claiming the reason he broke up with her is because she had an abortion

The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a abortion, and I’m totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies," Floyd wrote.at the time.

12351069455?profile=original

Floyd later apologized via TMZ, saying he was "devastated" to find out Shantel was dating his good friend Nelly

Nelly responded by calling Floyd a liar, insisting the two had never been friends.

12351070058?profile=original

12351070459?profile=original

The amount of damages Shantel is seeking were not disclosed.

Legendary comedienne Joan Rivers has passed away at the age of 81.

Rivers was having throat surgery at Yorkville Endoscopy on August 28, when she stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest. She was rushed to New York City’s Mount Sinai Hospital, where she fell into a coma.

On Thursday, September 4, her daughter Melissa Rivers made the decision to take her mom off of life support.

12351069890?profile=original

The New York State Department of Health has launched an investigation into Yorkville Endoscopy to find out what happened during what was supposed to be routine surgery.

“The state department of health is investigating the matter,” a Department of Health official told Fox News. “It’s a full investigation of the matter… Since it’s an ongoing investigation I can’t comment on what we’re looking at.”

Video After The Jump

It's been a while since Mike Jones and Bone Crusher have any noise on the music scene. Although both had hit records that put them on the map.

Bone's 2003 smash "Never Scared" had trunks rattling from coast to coast, as did Jones'  2004 single "Still Tippin." Since then neither rapper has made much impact.

12351065901?profile=original

The two will step back onto the map when they battle each other at New World Order 2, September 28, at The Atrium in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

12351066452?profile=original

The match up is on the undercard of the Fredro Starr vs. Keith Murray battle.

Who are you picking to win?
