To call the rift between Nas and ex-wife Kelis bitter would be an understatement. The two have been in and out of court numerous times over the last several years battling over various issues related to their 8-year old song, Knight.

Kelis has her ex-husband back in front of a judge, after deciding the $8000 a month he pays in child support isn't enough.

As a result, Nas had to submit his financial documents in court.

TMZ reports that Esco makes about $175,000 per month from various sources (music, investments, etc.). The "If I Ruled the World" hit maker has $8.3 million in the bank, spends $76,834.04 on monthly expenses, which includes $20,245.70 to help his father and other family members. He also shells out $15,000 a month on rent.

Kelis says additional funds are needed to pay for 50% of Knight's school-related costs, 50% of child care and 50% of unreimbursed health care.

She hasn't specified how much more she wants and a judge has yet to make a ruling.

In this clip, Don Q gave his take on Lil B situation that occurred during a music festival in California. Don Q said he doesn't know much about how the altercation ensued because he wasn't present. He did get at Lil B on Twitter but wasn't quite sure anyone noticed. He said he's over the internet beef though and is rarely online. Later on, Don Q explained that he's on a pursuit to become an all-time great lyricist and was asked to name his top-4 New York based lyricists. He ended up naming, JAY-Z, Nas, Biggie, and Big L.

Charlamagne Tha God gives Donkey Of The Day to "sexuality expert" Deanne Carson who said that parents need to their children for consent before changing their diaper. Appearing on Australian news, Deanne wants parents to ask their infant children questions like, “I’m going to change your nappy now, is that OK?” Charlamange is quick to point out this woman probably has never had to change a diaper before. If she had, she would never request that parents ask their toddlers to change their diapers. 

Where is the logic in this? During her interview, she said, "of course the baby isn't going to respond, 'yes Mom, that's awesome. I'd love to have my nappy change,' but if you leave a space and wait for body language and wait to make eye contact, then you're letting that child know their response matters." Does that mean that body language and eye contact are consent? That's a horrible lesson to teach to our kids.

A Yo Gotti concert in Kansas City, Missouri ended in gunfire Friday night, May 11.

Fox4KC reports that Gotti was performing at the Uptown Theatre when a fight broke out around 11:30 p.m. The melee spilled outside into the parking lot. When police and paramedics arrived they found and pronounced one victim dead on the scene.

No information about arrests or suspects has been released.

(USA Today) A man who had just taken his little sister to prom was choked and slammed to the ground outside a Waffle House in North Carolina on Saturday.

The arrest of Anthony Wall, 22, has drawn condemnation from the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund and Bernice King, the daughter of Martin Luther King Jr.

Wall's is the second forceful arrest of an African American by white officers at a Waffle House in recent weeks. People were enraged in late April when three white officers wrestled a black woman to the ground at a restaurant in Saraland, Alabama.

"Our review of these incidents do not indicate race was an issue in the decision to call the police in either case," Waffle House said in a statement. "Both incidents escalated quickly, and our employees called the police because of safety concerns for their customers and themselves. We train our employees to call the police whenever they feel in danger, or if they feel their customers are in danger."

The incident involving Wall drew national interest after he posted a video of the encounter on Facebook, where it's been viewed nearly a million times. In the video, Wall is slammed up against a glass window by an officer, who grabs him by the throat and throws him to the ground. 

Wall, who was wearing a yellow tuxedo vest, white button-up shirt and black pants during the event, took his 16-year-old sister to her high school prom earlier in the night, reports ABC11. The News & Observer reports Wall got into an argument with the restaurant's staff and police were called. The newspaper said he faces charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Warsaw Police are investigating the incident, Police Chief Eric Southerland said in a statement to ABC11.

The NAACP Legal Defense Fund (LDF), a racial justice legal organization, called the officer's conduct "grossly inappropriate" and called for an investigation of his body-camera footage as well as surveillance video. The officer, the LDF's statement adds, should be placed on administrative duty throughout the investigation.
